Because it was fine, but I'd probably opt for one of the hot lunch sandwiches next time. --- --- --- I was starving after a morning appointment and found myself having to kill time before heading home. There's no better way to kill time than to eat, and because I was nearby, I knew exactly where I wanted to visit. I am a sucker for lox bagels, and while I had never had one with egg on it before, that wasn't going to dissuade me from trying Classic NY Bagel's rendition. The result? I barely noticed the egg. But there was about 5x amount the cream cheese that there should have been. It was honestly hard to eat without making a giant mess because the cream cheese just kept coming. It got the job done, but I wouldn't ever need to order this again. Visit #2 will eventually come and it will consist of one of the hot bagels or sandwiches. read more

I ordered a BEC sesame bagel. It said $8.95 on the screen. Yet I paid almost $12 for it... then waited over 15 min for said breakfast bagel. One of three bagel spots in the Woodlands area, this spot feels really special. I walked and was immediately welcomed with a warm greeting from the folks on the team. This in combination with the clean, well lit shop, and family of the team as well as the owner at a table in the back, def made an impression. It was great to see a super family-owned and family assisted (multiple generations) spot doing their thing! The menu is extensive, offering bagel dogs on weekends, cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and much more. I grabbed a lox bagel and cinnamon roll (warmed of course). The cinnamon roll was more thin than fluffy, but I finished my bagel. Truthfully, I've had higher and lower quality bagels, but I did appreciate this one. Located right by the gym, I didn't see any gym patrons pop in post workout, but that's cool, I guess I'll just eat more bagels on their behalf. read more

Family run business was good bagel and cream cheese in Magnolia near the Woodlands. Stopped in for a quick bagel and ended up buying lunch and some to go bagels too. You can always tell when you walk into a family run business as the level of customer care is always at the highest. Furnishings is much nicer than most bagel shops and could be a place to slow down and relax. Will be getting Catering for the office from here in the future. read more

Love this bagel place. Gives me quality fresh NY style bagels. I use the Too Good To Go app to get a great deal on bagels. My first time grabbing a bag It did split and spill everywhere, but the employees were so nice and gave me another bag. I was a bit overwhelmed my the menu so I didn't order anything but came back a month later to retry. I got a caesar wrap. It's was just okay. i'm not going to get it again, i don't think it's worth $12. there was a lot of chicken and not enough lettuce :(. The caesar dressing was also sweet too me more like a ranch. I'd actually rate this about a 3.5. Grew up in the bagel belt (CT, NY, NJ) and lived there for years. Was just there a month ago. These bagels were perfectly fine. However, I felt like the texture was off. These are not as dense as a true NY bagels. I was also a little disappointed that my Taylor ham (or pork roll for some of you) & cheese was American cheese and not cheddar. I didn't specify and they didn't ask so that's partially on me. I'm a huge fan of bagels and was stoked a new place opened near me. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on an Asiago bagel and added potato to it. There was nothing special about it and just tasted like an ordinary bagel. The Asiago bagel didn't taste like others I've had before and felt like a plain bagel. The eggs were super bland and the potatoes just weren't as good. The service was great and my order came out quickly. They have a good amount of seating inside. read more

I was anxious to try this new "NY" bagel shop since I haven't found any in the area that I want to go shop regularly... Today I believe I've found one! Their bagels are nice and big, soft in the inside and outside( not like the one it's hard to bite into), chewy just like NY bagels. I got LOX cream cheese, it was very good. They don't have chives in it so I just added some at home. Their prices are reasonable, half dzn + 8oz lox cream cheese was around $17. They had basic flavors of bagels, can't wait to try other ones. read more

This Bagel shop gives me great memories of the Northeast. They boil the bagels before baking and you can definitely tell the first bite. Finally tried this place today and was very disappointed, and definitely will not be going back. With only myself and one other customer in the store waiting, they took my order then they waited 20 minutes before even starting my 2 bagel order, so they could take care of others first. Yes, I'm that customer you pushed aside for 20 minutes so you could have everybody working on one "big" order instead of mine. If your bagels were really good it might have overcome the poor service, but the bagels were very average at best, definitely not even in my top ten list. And we requested both bagels toasted but received only one toasted. A waste of my time and money. read more

The good thing is the bagels came out fast. We had 4 bagels, each different. They were chewy and heavy. They forgot to add onion that we asked for. We were not offered the option to toast the bagels. I think other bagel places in the Woodlands are better. read more

We ordered two everything bagels with Taylor ham and cheese. They were delicious, just would like to see more Taylor ham on these sandwiches. Everyone was super friendly and the food came out quick. They have tons of indoor seating and a few spots outside. Will definitely be going back. This is a nice add for the Magnolia area. read more

I placed an order on too good to go on February 5th. I placed the order for 2 grab bags initially and was excited to see they still had some available so I picked up another. I work near by with no car currently so I took my lunch break as the perfect opportunity to run over and try them for the first time ever. I've had no bad experiences with the app so far at other companies so I expected a yummy grab bag and I was so soo excited. I arrived and they had a sign up front they were closed for a family emergency today and tomorrow(2.5.25-2.6.25).I completely understand when things come up suddenly but there was no online communication via a website or closing or the to good to go app. Now I have to wait up to 14 days to receive my refund when it top 2 seconds to be taken from my account.Unfortunately I don't see myself returning this left an awful taste in my mouth on an already hard day (2.5.25-2.6.25) read more

I was excited to try the new Bagel shop closer to our home. Sorry to say, I was very disappointed with the service. Our bagels were good, but not anything over the top. The coffee had an awful smell and taste. I would expect a good-tasting drip coffee at a bagel shop. I only took two sips and took it to the counter and asked if they used filtered water for their coffee? I was told no, and just a head shake. Not, I am sorry, what else can I get for you? no rectification. I then got a bottled drink and was charged full price without any offer of a discount for the coffee I did not drink. Also, they were not very friendly, which I would expect when starting a new business. I certainly hope things improve for your shop. read more
