Wide variety of bagels and smears, from savory to sweet, with options with protein sandwiches. Tasty enough to address your bagel cravings. Proximity is a plus. Now to the bads and the uglies. They most of the times run out of stuff and close early. Sometimes even by 10:30 or 11 am they are closed. They do not have a phone line and you always get on their automated menu that lands you nowhere on the phone so stick to third party order sides of want to order ahead - if they work. Still solid. Since they've opened, I've been a patron. Not a daily visitor, but I pop by once every few months to fulfill my lox bagel craving (which they call The Chairman). Their hours are limited and so is their supply so it's in your best interest to arrive early. Luckily, well past 10am they still had exactly what I needed. Plus, the service today was exceptional! If you're a Lox fan, know that the chairman takes on a whole new life with the Tribeca smear. It's certainly worth a try atleast once. They were filling and delicious. Both were on an everything bagel and on the chairman, we got the scallion schmear, The staff were quick and very courteous. The Chairman has a nice schmear to bagel. I think some of the New Yorkers would want more schmear on their bagel but I think the amount we got helped bring the other ingredients out in the sandwich. And would you like this bagged separately, etc. it's a small quaint place if you want to dine in with like 1-2 other people. They don't open until 7am which I bet prevents the early risers trying to beat the awful traffic around here may be disappointed to be able to grab breakfast from them before commuting to work but otherwise great experience good food at $$ cost so it's probably not a place you'd stop at on daily! Sent the boy to fetch me a bagel based on the great reviews and they pretty much ran out of all the flavors 2 hours prior to closing. Which means they must be that great right? He left because I wanted my experience with this shop to be the flavor I wanted. Then my coworker orders a bunch for us at work and I get all hyped up. Loving the cream cheese options and texture. I was the first to dig in. And... that was disappointing. The texture of the bagel was not a nyc bagel. It was not chewy. It was no different from the prepackaged bagels from the grocery store. I saw this place on Instagram and I'm never in the woodlands area so since I had to be out that was this particular late Saturday morning, I decided to stop in. I really wanted to be blown away like all the TikTok's and reels but unfortunately, it just wasn't it! I got the Chairman and my daughter got the Sammie. Flavor wise, it was a solid 4 out of 5. The thing that was lacking was preparation, construction and options. Our bagels were made pretty sloppily. My chairman had the smoked salmon literally outside of the bagel sandwich itself. It was a very messy eat. The jalapeño cheddar bagel was really good though. As mentioned before, we had only three options to choose from. I don't know if they had a big morning rush but I didn't love that the bagel shop only had three choices. Customer service was sweet. I can't dock any points in that. The store was small but clean. Patio seating available. A little hard to find as everything seems to be in the woodlands lol. Would I go back, probably not honestly. I think it was good enough but Houston leaves more to explore. I ordered the everything bagel w/ the regular cream cheese, a jalepeno cheddar bagel sandwich w/ egg & cheese & a caramel iced coffee. I'm not super impressed with their food, I would never get the jalepeno cheddar bagel again- too much cheese for me. It was like like they melted a slice of cheese on top of the bagel. The everything bagel was okay. The iced caramel coffee was not like the picture I saw, I ended up throwing it out & not drinking it- it had a weird medicine taste to it which I'm assuming is from the caramel I did however get this food door dashed to me, so if I give it another chance it will be in person. They did a good job following the special instructions placed on the door dash app. Just overall a little disappointed in the taste of the food. I also wish they use some sort of tape or something to put over the opening of the drink to ensure it's not tampered with when picked up by food ordering services. Listen, I really love bagels and bagel sandwiches from this spot in New York City. Obviously I don't live there so I can't get them from there but I'm always on the look out for something similar here and this place is definitely that! I've ordered from them quite a bit on Uber Eats especially when I'm in a work meeting that goes too long. It is ready and delivered very fast. The quality really holds up from delivery as well. The bagels are perfect here. Cinnamon raisin is my absolute favorite with the blueberry being next. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich is always a solid choice. The cream cheese is whipped and very creamy. I've tried some of their coffee options and I'd say my favorite was the latte. The regular coffee was just okay. I have been looking for the perfect NY bagel (made the correct traditional way) for quite a few years now. Many bagels from big box stores have a generic shaped bagel composed of the "processed fluffy bread loaf style" bagels, which are garbage. Fuhgedaboudit makes bagels proper, utilizing the traditional NY "boil and bake" process, creating their bagels with that perfect chewy texture, like they're supposed to be! In addition, all the staff was super friendly, courteous and efficient and functions well! Fuhgedaboudit offers a good variety of different flavors of bagels whether you're looking for just a plain bagel all the way up to an everything bage l. They also will toast them and put cream cheese and locks or whatever you like. They also have fantastic bagel dogs, which are made with quality hot dogs in a perfect bagel wrap. To me, while a plain bagel speaks to the dough, a sesame bagel used the same plain dough but shows their ability to master toppings (even coverage, no scorched goodies) and processes for toasting. Oh... and because sesame and butter? Fuhgedaboudit! I wasn't disappointed. The service was faster than I could pay and get a table. Magically, I had a warm toasted and butter slathered bagel waiting. Perfectly prepared... the right tug, evenly golden - my mouth demanded another bite and another... and poof....it was gone. Disappeared. Forlorn, I pondered having another, but alas, I couldn't imagine consuming another immediately - I was so full. Fresh is always best, I feel, with bagels, so I'll wait to try their sandwiches or my favorite from back east, a toasted onion with provolone and tomato. They're doing it right.
