I visited here during my search for healthy eateries in the Woodlands area. Some reviewers say the grinder was really good but after looking at the menu, I had my heart set on the steak sandwich. I figure any steak sandwich under $15 is a good deal these days. There are 2 kiosks for ordering, but also a manned register. The food did take a while to come out but after the first bite I knew I made the right selection. It's sliced just right so that it's easy to chew, tasted like a steak, and it was indeed a healthy meal. I enjoyed everything about the sandwich, even got a few bites of some apples when eating the 2nd half of the sandwich which was a nice surprise/addition. Here, unlike another healthy fast casual place in town, I did like the available tea selection. I also ordered a cookie for dessert and it turned to be really tasty as well. My dining partner ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl with rice and roasted veggies and really enjoyed that as well. read more

I wanted to get breakfast for my wife before dashing off to an early appointment and the Chop Shop opens at 7am. I was pleased with the welcoming reception of the young man that took my order and the decor bright and uplifting. You can create custom breakfast bowls, but this was outside my comfort zone ... I ordered the Cheat Wrap. The wait was long enough that I suspect that the bacon was fried to order. Overall the experience was good. I thought I would hate it, but the Grinder sandwich was actually kind of awesome, with a sweet italian dressing making the bread entirely edible! A couple of packets of Stevia made the tea drinkable. My wife had the korean bowl... they have salt and pepper shakers at the bussing station if you need salt, because they obviously dont. ;-) It was a little spicy for her taste, but the beans and rice were plentiful, and would make a satisfying meal if you were inclined to eat the carbs. Enjoyed the "feel good food". Everyone here is super positive and friendly. I had the spicy Korean steak bowl with a side of black beans. Super filling with the fresh roasted veggies. They have a variety of ice teas. My favorite was the hibiscus mango. Open dining room inside and a lovely outside dining space as well. If bowls are not your thing they also have a variety of fresh sandwiches, all day breakfast and protein shakes. Nice kids menu as well. read more

It makes my heart happy to have a ChopShop in The Woodland (bonus points for popping up so close to the Trader Joe's). It's incredibly refreshing to have a healthier option in Sterling Ridge. Although they're new to this neighborhood, you wouldn't know. During my visit the place was running smoothly. That being said, we did have to wait quite awhile for our order to be taken. Reflecting back, I guess they expected us to use the self order kiosk, but that was not communicated, and I personally prefer a human. I tried their newest bowl, the chop-rito, alongside their hummus. While the hummus didn't blow me away, I was able to stretch my chop-rito into 3 "me sized" mini meals. Food is consistently great and comes out very fast. Love the flavors and variety. I've had the beet salad, the Thai crunch salad, the Korean bowl. Pictured is the Thai crunch as a wrap with no chives and added beef. The beef is always cooked well, very moist. The Thai crunch did not make for a great wrap, because the liquid caused it to fall apart but the flavor was delicious, a little spicy. A lot of good textures between the crunchy jicama and soft oranges. Service has been good most times but there was one time I went to the cashier instead of self service and the woman who took our order seemed annoyed. Very like the GenZ meme - no "hi", just kind of a blank stare. I might've docked a star if that's the first time I've been but at other times, I've used the self service and had an employee check in to make sure I didn't need help and even after they bring your food, someone comes around to see how things are. First time I went, I asked the cashier what they liked and he and another employee talked about their usual orders and were super friendly and making jokes. This will def be a regular for me, good place to go after working out that is healthy (depending on what you order) while not being flavorless. read more

Because it's always great when a place combines healthy and tasty. --- --- --- Granted, usually when it's tasty, there is some healthiness sacrificed, but you can eat more much guilt-free here than most places. Something I really like about this menu is that there are many options I want to try. This is definitely not a place where I felt like I got my fill with one visit. For my first time I ordered the Thai Coconut Chicken Bowl with cauliflower rice and sweet potato hash. I've had bowls that hit the spot a bit more than this one, but I really enjoyed it overall. I finished it off with a Chocolate Cashew Coconut Cookie, which was actually heavier than I thought it would be, but tasty. Okay so I love local fresh and healthy food. I just so happen to be coming to the shopping center to grab a nothing Bundt cakes because they have a nice caramel apple cider for the season and I noticed the chop shop was open. The lady also came up to me so friendly and nice in the parking lot and asked me if I knew they were open and if I wanted to come by. Me being a foodie of course why not. It's a brand new location so everything is brand new in spotless the staff have clearly been trained to a tee they were excellent with explaining everything on the menu and helping me make a decision quickly on what I wanted they have a nice variety of bowls that include tofu chicken steak and salads and sandwiches. They have all kinds of smoothies and juices including kale cucumber tumeric all of the good things you know that you need every day. I'd probably add mushrooms, remove the julienne cut carrots and an extra spicy sauce to my bowl next time. The Parmesan and whole wheat chips were nasty and tasted stale but I don't think they were. Just think that's how they were. The tomatoes were good. Way overpriced for what it was in my opinion. Loved my first experience at ChopShop! The service from Johnathan and Mia. Johnathan talked to my father about his health concerns and even offered to go out and buy olive oil for my dad haha. Mia was attentive to our order when cashiering and made sure the order tasted good after it arrived. The kale caesar was sweet and yummy, i think next time i'd pair it with a more savory meat instead of the korean spicy steak. the korean spicy steak was SO GOOD i'd come back just to get a side order of it! Seasonal Apple chai lemonade was $1 and it was very impressively good! For my main lunch I ordered The Club which is a turkey sandwich but removed the turkey and added chicken and it was sooooo good and a big sandwich easily could share half with someone else. I recently had my first experience with trying ChopShop and I am pleasantly surprised. It's hard to find really good convenient grab n go type places and this has become one of my favorites. I went back 2 days in a row because it was that good. I have tried the teriyaki bowl, chop-rito, hummus, jalapeno goat cheese hummus, chia pudding, and acai bowl.
