In 2021, the brake light came on and I went to a local mechanic. He checked all four brakes and informed me the front right caliper was locked and the two rear calipers were leaking brake fluid. He said whomever touched my brakes last, blew out the entire braking system. He stated the two rear calipers were not replaced in 2019. He quoted me a price and I went to another mechanic just to be sure this was the correct problem. I told him the brake light had come on but didn't tell him what the other mechanic had said. He too looked over all four brakes and said the same thing. I informed him I have an invoice from 2019 stating the rear calipers had be replaced. He too said they had not been. So I had the brakes and calipers done at a cost of $1,556. I told Mr. Levy, the owner of 311 Garage, of the situation and asked if the work as stated on the 2019 invoice had been done. No response from him. So who knows.

As a woman who doesn't know much about cars and doesn't have many men in my family (my dad lives 2 states away), I wanted to find a shop that was reliable and honest. ADAS Elite was one of the first to respond and told me how they would run a diagnostic test and gave me a price. I liked that I didn't necessarily have to make an appointment for a specific day as long as I could drop my car off at 9am. Drop off was quick and they kept me updated with what was going on with my car. My AC issue was complicated so I didn't get to pick up my car until the next day. The good news is they found the issue but the bad news is that I need to replace my fan assembly, compressor and condenser, which is a huge expense that I can't afford. I opted not to go ahead with the repairs and was charged only for the diagnostic test. They also discovered (and showed me photos) that some parts under my hood were shifted out of place as if my car was in a front end collision but I purchased my car brand new and have never had an accident in my car. They fixed some of the issues at no charge. Although I didn't leave with my AC fixed, I am still very thankful for the team at ADAS. I highly recommend them!

After their analysis, they charged me and returned the vehicle to me with both struts deflated and quoted a high price for the repair. I asked them could they inflate the compressor and the mechanic said it cant be inflated, it can only be replaced for the amount quoted. I got a 2nd opinion and was told that the compressor was deflated manually and the screws and ty-straps in the place where the compressor is located are missing. They also said the compressor can be inflated electronically and did it. Went back and asked to speak to the manager on duty. The guy I spoke to wouldnt reveal who he was but pulled up my ticket and when I told him what happened, he then said they didnt do it and he was Steve the owner and they didnt touch anything. Well if they touch anything, how did they know to quote me the price. Either he was lying or they gave a quote without doing the diagnosis. He also said no one never said they couldnt inflate the compressor. SO if you know you could do it, why would you return the vehicle to me with out raising it since the same equipment you use to do the diagnosis is the same equipment you use to instruct the computer to raise the vehicle. The other company inflated the compressor and no issues were found. Never going back again. Terrible service and I believe they create damage on your vehicle in order to charge for repairs.

I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. We had a rattle in the car, so we called him and he came out to replace the pulleys. As soon as we started the car, the rattle was still there so we called him to come back. He came back, was sure it was the alternator (replaced it, but nope!), was sure it was the compressor (replaced it, but nope!), then my spouse suggested it was coming from the engine and now all of a sudden we need a new engine for the timing chain. The kicker? Now our AC is making a hissing sound after we just got it fixed to work perfectly in June (over $2000). Obviously it's too complex for Greg to handle and now he's defensive and refusing to fix it without a new diagnostic fee.
