Gnocchi (with fresh tomato sauce) + garlic bread + caesar salad
    Kewali N.

Wonderful wholesome experience. We booked this class to celebrate our friend's birthday. Chef Luna was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the dishes we were making. We made gnocchi, lavender blueberry panna cotta, garlic butter for the bread, and caesar dressing for the salad. Her explanations and guide throughout the process were easy to follow. I preferred this setting because it is more intimate for a small group of friends and we didn't feel rushed at all. We got to sit down and enjoy our homemade meals at the end, which were refreshing compared to premade store bought ingredients. Chef kept a positive attitude throughout the experience and was very accommodating which made everything enjoyable. Great first experience in a cooking class! Definitely will be back and highly recommend to others!

    Eclairs

Communication in advance of the choux pastry class could have been a bit improved, but it was a great class. Chef Agnes brought all of the ingredients we needed, and she was willing to make it work even if we didn't have all of the ideal equipment (she mentioned that a hand mixer could be used if we didn't have a stand mixer). She was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and gave helpful feedback. She paced the class really well to make eclairs and cream puffs in two hours, including making the craquelin, choux pastry, pastry cream, and chocolate ganache. We had a blast! You should budget time after the class to finish filling/dipping the remaining pastries and to clean up.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and professional with a LOT of experience. He set an easy to follow pace for the class and made the experience a lot of fun with music and jokes. We will go to paint there again soon and bring some friends next time :)

Chef Luana went above and beyond. She allowed us to taste the authenticity and art that comes from her expertise! Her place felt like a clean, organized restaurant and each moment of our time there was comfortable, fun, engaging, and surely delicious. Definitely will look forward to booking again soon! Thank you Chef Luana! Delizioso!

This entire meal itself is shared/cooked as a group of four, even though your station is for 2 people. You are standing throughout the class and get breaks in between to go check out the store. For example I have done a pastry baking class - Macaroons and croissants. I booked this class for 4 people so it was perfect because we all knew each other and it was a group activity. Since it was four of us we had a row/table to ourselves. *****Each table has two stations, each pair gets a station. So each table has 4 people. ***** For us the baking class was fun because our group of 4 got to be next to each other and work together. ***For baking classes you are able to take leftovers home.*** I have also done a Dinner class - Carbonara pasta, Caprese salad, and tiramisu dessert. This was booked for 2 people to celebrate a birthday for a friend. In this experience of booking for 2 people we had to share the table and ingredients with another couple/pair. When booking for 2, as a date night, the only part that might ruin the vibe of is you are very close to the other group. It isn't intimate and you don't have your own space. The food portions are enough but not super filling. You would be satisfied but you might leave feeling like you have some space for something small. ***Some people do have left overs but the sad thing is with savory classes you cannot take leftovers. You either finish your food or you toss it out. So even if you were full you would be tossing some of your $ away. ****

It wasn't awkward at all, and because you're seated at a table full of other people - i didn't stand out for not having a partner or group. They don't have their own space, so we rented out a room at Clutch Distillery. The even was inside, in a cozy room where they had all of our supplies set up for us on tables in little stations. There were 15 of us in the class, with 5 people at each table. The instructors were clear and gave you all of the information needed to have a successful cake building experience. The cakes turned out honestly so much better than I imagined, as I am no where near an expert! The class was just under two hours, and the girls packed up our cakes for us to travel home with. And yes, it was dug into as soon as we got home and was absolutely delicious. Great experience and would highly recommend

This place is AWESOME! BRKThrough is such a unique and fun experience. The website does a great job…read moreof explaining everything. I've only been here once and I would definitely come back! My husband and I booked the 2 hour experience. It seems like a lot of time, but once you play, it feels like it's not enough! The rooms truly are best played with 2-4 players. There are some rooms where 2 people is nearly impossible to get a perfect score, and there are some rooms where people would just be standing around if you have more than 4 players. Your team will have a team leader who will wear a specific wristband that opens the rooms and allows you to view your score on a big screen in the hallways. If your team doesn't care about rankings and want to just play for fun, then you can go at your own pace or split up if possible, depending on the size of your team. For example, if you have a total of 6 people playing, you could be one team with 1 team captain. For scoring, it would be best to stick together. Or you can split into two teams and have two team captains. That way, your team could split up into teams of 2 and 4 or 3 and 3 depending on the game/room. If you do care about rankings, then stick with your team and try to solve as many rooms as possible and get the perfect score. The rooms are so different! It's a lot of fun. There is definitely something for every one and many rooms to solve. Within the 2 hours, my husband and I were not able to go through all the rooms. Man, after we were done, we wanted to play more! It was exhilarating because you are trying to get through as many rooms as you can and trying to get the best score. It's like we were on a game show. haha Some rooms are addicting to where you want to just play it over and over again, but if you care about your ranking, just move on! lol The rooms have a time limit, which helps you pace yourself and prevent people from hogging a room the entire time. It gives off a "minute-it to win-it" vibe. Running around and trying to find an available room is also fun in itself. It's like a labyrinth in there. There were some technical issues with some rooms. For example, there was a soccer room where one of the goals would not score at all, so that messed with our points. There was another room involving a subway where I seriously think several answers were not on the posters provided. However, it was still fun! The employees were all super nice! One of the employees even helped us play in one room because it was one of those rooms where it would have been impossible to get a good score with only 2 people. I would say this isn't exactly a "one and done" type place. If you play with different people, it will be a different experience. Certain rooms you can definitely memorize and just plug in the answers. However, there are other rooms that are sports and arcade style, so replaying it would still be fun. Furthermore, you may not finish all the rooms the first time and by the next time you come back, they may have added additional rooms/games. Also, since they track rankings, you could try to get a better score the next time you come. The price is sort of expensive, but I think it's worth it. I mean, it's not something I would do every weekend, but I can definitely see us coming back a few more times for special occasions. They do serve food inside the venue. They have a really cool little glass box outside of each room to put your drinks inside. Also, they have free lockers to put in your purse and other valuables if you wish. There are also several cool photo opportunities. This place is just amazing. You have to just come and experience it yourself! This place is perfect for birthday parties, family outings, date night, or just to try something new. I highly recommend this place!
