We get pics throughout day that reconfirms that our baby is enjoying the day. Their lunch is all organic and so far our little loves it. The teachers also really listen and try to accommodate each child. Our little is thriving here

My child is developmentally behind and they were willing to give us a chance. we fell in love with this team right away. they were very hands on with our child and everyone knew him. all staff and children alike. they provided up with excellent feedback when there were times that were a little tougher, which happens in this work. they worked with us to collaborate on solutions and ideas. they were very inclusive with him and other children and even let him do his thing. they knew he was special and the children knew but did not care. he was their friend. Marci's team was absolutely amazing and provided such excellent care it was heartbreaking to leave due to relocation. All the staff was sad to see him go but was very supportive. they were all very hands on and believed in educating all children at their pace. we thank you all for your support and taking care of our child so well. it will be a challenge to find a new area after all these amazing and wonderful people. My child was in the Tigers room and the ladies in there were his favorite people. would talk about them all the time. they kept us informed on activities as well as any opps that may have happened though out the day. we have wonderful memories that we were not able to be part of because of all the fun he was having at school. dancing with friends. playing on the playground. story time and of course snack time. we loved that they were so diverse with their learnings. bringing visitors out to educate and spend time with the littles. our little one may be developmentally behind but with the help of this great staff he came so far and was just one of the kids. thank you all, we miss you and would definitely recommend this team and location.

Let me preface this review by saying the teachers and staff at this facility are excellent and not…read morethe problem. The issue with this facility is the owner. Due to a meaningless event, the owner decided that a personal vendetta would be an appropriate action to take in the form of an increase of fees by over 200% without formal notice. Additionally when calling to discuss this matter as adults, the owner proceeded to verbally assault me and hurl slanderous accusations. The interaction was so aggressive that people within my office could hear the conversation thru a headset. The owner of the facility turned the situation in to an assault on my children by indicating "she wanted nothing to do with them" and wanted to immediately know when their last day was going to be. Had the owner been mature with our interaction, the incident between her and I would have been simply "water under the bridge" but when she framed the situation and she turned our interaction violently personal, my choice was to find another location with people who look to appreciate kids and not view them as a matter of business. When running a establishment situated around children, concern for the business and children have to go hand-in-hand and the owner showed her true colors. The owner for this facility should have her license for this business revoked.

I should have stuck with her old school rather then trying out the free GA prek. From the beginning I never got the warm and fuzzys from anyone at discovery point. I felt like I was always just dropping my daughter off to play. Although, her teachers both were super nice I just never felt like she was really learning much. Now comes the real issue. This school charges $120 a month for lunch. Which I had no idea about because I didn't attend the open house. I only found out when I got an invoice in my daughters back pack 2 months into her being in school. Well if you do the math that's $6 a day. I bet the kids are eating like kings and queens for that amount, well you're wrong. I went to have lunch with her one day and she got 3 over baked chicken nuggets, a spoon full of smashed up peas and carrots, a spoon full of smashed up fruit and maybe 4 oz of milk. I looked around and saw 2 girls eating packed lunches from home. One child being a teachers daughter. When I spoke to the director Claire about it she said "first of all you have a balance and maybe your daughter just doesn't eat veggies." The veggies wasn't the problem the whole lunch is the problem. At home we eat pretty healthy and for me to send my daughter to eat this I'd rather just have her take her lunch. Well I was told that was not an option no kids are to bring in outside food. The owner Michelle called my husband and told him we needed to pay our balance, he let her know that we would be paying our balance but moving forward we wanted our daughter to bring in her lunch. Michelle let him know that was not an option and if he didn't like her services we could remove our child from that school. She complained about how shes losing money on this program and that these students lunches are to pay for her teachers. I picked up my daughter that day. And when I walked in I was asked if this means her spot should be filled? Michelle sent us an email on Oct 26th with our balance that was due on the 27th. On the morning of the 27th I received an email with a balance with over $100 in late fees and a threat of if not paid today I will add the Gwinnett County court fees on the next statement. I'm sorry but you can't do unless you take me to court. I went up on the 27th to make the payment that was due on the 27th and her and Claire both said that now I have a different balance. I told her I would pay was due on the 27th and nothing more. Of course she gave me an attitude and said what ever just pay the balance. These 2 ladies are running this like a business and not a facility where the kids and their needs come first. I know this is long but I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. I am just thankful that her old preschool made room for her. Although I am paying for private prek, I feel 100% better having my daughter at a place where she is not just a number and a paycheck.
