David was not only very professional in his work, but was also very warm, down -to-earth, and non-intimidating to speak with. He addressed all my concerns. He even tried assisting me with correcting possible culprits over the phone. This was unheard of for me. I have never interfaced with any professional before who tried to help you over the phone for free! But David did. And I am truly thankful for that kindness. Electrical testing was now required to locate, repair and restore functionality. While here, he quickly got to work examining all the outlets and testing the panel. I left him to his work. The problem was discovered quickly, and he showed me why the power was not coming on. Fortunately, he had available with him the replacement part I needed which saved a trip to pick up the part. Worked like a charm! After 4 days of no power in the garage, I am truly a very happy camper! David verified that power was restored to an outdoor outlet that had stopped working as a result of the outage, as well as my alarm system. He offered great advice for things to be on the lookout for that could overload the system and trigger another outage. Marcos and Jonathan came and really helped us out when we needed it, they explained everything and they did a great job. However, now we are having problems getting a follow up. When Marcos and Jonathan finished up at our house, we had a couple of light fixtures that weren't working correctly. They assured us that all we needed to do was change the bulbs (because they popped during a power surge) and that would fix things. We did that, but the fixtures still don't work correctly. (Please note that this was back in January.) After changing the bulbs, like was recommended to us, I contacted Zeros through the Yelp app messaging system to try and set up a follow up. Mark responded and apologized for the delay in getting back to me due to some issues with the Yelp app. Great. No big deal, and I gave him my phone number and asked if we could have a follow up to look at the non-working fixtures. I asked what day and time to expect someone out, and never got a response. Then many weeks pass with no contact, and I admit that I did not reach out for a while because of work, Covid concerns/vaccine after effects, and other things. Last week I reached out twice via Yelp message. Based on the Yelp message app, I can see that my messages have been read, but there have not been any responses. I also tried calling the number on Yelp, but when I call it goes straight to voicemail without ringing, and I get a message that says the voicemail mailbox is full. We have been getting by without having access to those light fixtures, but this is something we would prefer to have available to us. I am still incredibly thankful and happy with the initial work that was done to fix our electrical issues. I just wish I could get in contact with someone to clean up the one lingering issue we have had since the initial work was completed in January.

I went to the Tesla site and found out that Clever Electric is a certified Tesla Installer. I connected with Clever (My Ngo) and a few other Tesla certified installers. I received a really good quote immediately from My. He also offered that if I took care of the permits, I could get a further reduction. Since his quote was already a couple of thousand less that the Tesla installation cost even with the permit, I decided to go ahead with him. I also realized that I could get a further $500 Tesla rebate if I could get the installation done in two and half weeks. I immediately connected with My on Sunday when I realized this and he picked up my call and assured me that he would help me as much as he can to get the installation done on time. I then proceeded to order the Tesla Powerwall 2. My came by my house and took a look at the installation. He then realized that he needed to do a lot more work than anticipated. He was very apologetic. I decided to do the permits myself. Within a week, I got the Powerwall 2. I filled in the paperwork for the permits - My helped me quite a bit there. And I was able to get the permit by mid next week. I connected with My for installation. He was very surprised that this got done so quickly. He was able to free up time for me right away. He and his helper spent 3.5 days installing it. The additional work was really substantial because he had to move a large number of circuits from one side of the house to another - going through the sub-floor, attic etc. He did an absolutely amazing job - he was very meticulous. He used absolutely high quality materials. The inspector came and unfortunately because of my misunderstanding, the battery needed to be moved about 12 inches. Note the battery is very heavy and difficult to move. My was very supportive. He came again the following Saturday with two helpers because of the weight of the battery. And they moved it by a foot. This took the better part of the morning. Finally he was there for the final inspection and made sure that the inspection went well. My was extremely supportive throughout this whole experience. His work has been of very high quality and is very conscientious. He did an excellent job with Tesla Powerwall 2 installation. He did not cut any corners even though the job was much much more than anticipated - I realized that based on the amount of time that My and his helpers spent on the job.
