It took a month before hearing back, then I was informed my prescription was out dated. She left a message on my phone, don't call us will call you. I am informed that I need to have another exam in that it was not approved by the veterans affairs. Veterans don't brother going to this business for exams.

My experience with the eye doctor was a great one and this review has nothing to do with his…read moreprofessional abilities but with the front desk staff who after I asked whether my insurance would cover my visit confirmed that it would. At the end of my visit, I was charged an exuberant amount for a contact eye evaluation of $85 and paid an overwhelming $150 out the door with what I went in for. The fact that I wasn't actually going to be covered for the contact evaluation was not told to me and that I would still have to pay an additional $35 for a co-payment which normally should cover exam fees was also not explained to me. I don't beleive the front dest staff did a good job at all with this matter which made my overall visit very displeasing. Again, the eye doctor was great . I just feel front desk staff should not provide misinformation and put in more effort to explain costs to patients prior to services being rendered.
