If you ask her for a specific design, you can guarantee Milly will provide it. Her mobile services were very helpful when i was postpartum, and she never made me feel as though i was asking for too much. My first experience at Claws by Milagros was PHENOMENAL. My nail technician, "Milly", was amazing.  She was hilarious, professional, thorough, very attractive, and took great care of me. I've never been to a place as clean and new looking as this. Most of the time the other places I've been had broken chairs and stuff. Not here. So I normally just get my feet done when I go to nail salons. I'm just very insecure about my finger nails because I'm a biter. After talking to her about them, I just felt so comfortable with her, so I gave it a shot. I've never seen them look so great. UPDATE: I have never met a nail tech that is as dedicated to cleanliness and safety like Milli is. She even uses a medical grade autoclave to sterilize her tools. For those of you who don't know what an autoclave is, its used to sterilize medical and dental tools, and effectively kills all viruses, bacteria, and fungi. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my nails in general, let alone during a pandemic. She also takes time to do a consultation on what nail modification/enhancement would work best for your lifestyle. She's incredible. I work in healthcare so she recommended that I do hard gel extensions because they hold up better than acrylic or apres to the harsh chemicals I work with. She's incredibly knowledgeable, and talked me through everything she was doing and why, and my nails came out perfect! I have naturally thin/ weak nails and usually manicures or acrylics don't last very long for me, but it's been almost 2 weeks and there's no signs of chipping, cracking, or lifting. I'm amazed! Choosing an independent nail artist over a "nail salon" was one of the greatest decisions I ever made! At 40 years old, I had been biting my nails my entire life. Nothing I ever tried worked, my hands were in my mouth all day every day, biting my cuticles, picking at my skin, and constantly fighting broken nails. When COVID started, it became more serious for me to keep my hands out of my mouth, and in August of 2021, I decided to get my first full set! I walked into a "nail salon" not knowing anything hoping for their guidance. They didn't explain anything to me, they glued some nails on, gave me a design that wasn't what I asked. I knew immediately I needed better quality and turned to Yelp. Milly immediately responded to my yelp inquiry and has me answer questions about my nail health, past artificial nail use, etc. She wants to make sure that she is giving you a product that works for your lifestyle. Scheduling and communication are a breeze, and the experience of working one on one instead of in a salon that sees so many people a day is so much better. Nails take a long time, so to be able to relax and have a conversation with Milly during that time is a much better experience. The best part, my 40 year long nail-biting problem went away overnight! To keep it simple, if you want beautiful nails (whether it be gel/ acrylic/ apres) and an excellent experience while getting your nails done, Milagros is the person to go to. I've being going to get my nails done with Milagros since 2017 when she was working at a local salon. Although there were other talented nail techs at said salon, I always booked my appointments with Milagros because she was always willing to listen to what exactly it was that I wanted and whenever I needed a suggestion she would always give me her honest opinion. Not only did she become aware of certain styles of nails I preferred (and kept them in mind) but she also gave amazing suggestions whenever I felt like trying something new. She also keeps up with what's new in the nail industry, which goes to show how much care and effort she puts into providing stunning nails. I still continue to go with Milagros because I've never being disappointed with my nails or the experience. Milagros is amazing at what she does! I was searching forever to find a nail artist who was clean, professional, and a true artist in their craft. Milagros is truly that! She is very professional and on time! She takes cleanliness and product safety very seriously which I appreciate. She is also truly creative when it comes to nail art. She was able to give me the acrylic nails of my dreams with just one photo for reference (a blurry photo at that!). My set has lasted wonderfully for 3 weeks with no chipping, breaks, or falling off. This has never been the case for me as I am a nail biter and usually always end up messing them up. Milagros's quality is really top notch! I've had my nails done by Milly prior to the current (COVID) climate -- in an actual salon where she worked previously -- and during this time, am frequenting her home as a client. She provides the SAME service in either setting. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and my nails are always just what I asked for.
