The online offer I received $85,950.

I had a very disappointing experience at Clay Cooley Ford Arlington on 11/4/2025. I came in by appointment, ready to purchase an F-250 at the $85,950 price they emailed me. After the test drive, the salesperson Bill Belt told me every vehicle requires a mandatory $2,400 "warranty" package -- which was actually paint-protection and minor touch-up coverage, not a real mechanical warranty. That was never disclosed beforehand and is a clear bait-and-switch tactic. When I refused, the manager eventually agreed to honor the quoted price but was rude and unprofessional when he came to talk. Then I was told the deal only stood if I financed through Ford Credit at about 8%, even though I had already secured 5.49% financing elsewhere. I walked out. Between the hidden add-ons, forced financing, and poor attitude, this dealership completely lost my trust. I do not recommend Clay Cooley Ford Arlington to anyone looking for an honest buying experience.

Excellent service, no pressure, and incredibly accommodating!…read more I dropped off my 2012 Dodge Durango on a Saturday morning for an oil change and state inspection. I didn't have an appointment and used their express lane. Even though they were busy and estimated it would take a couple of hours, they were able to fit me in right away. Because of the wait, they incredibly kindly offered to drive me down the road to my daughter's swim meet so I didn't have to sit in the waiting room. The courtesy driver, Adali, was wonderful--she was a very safe and considerate driver, which I really appreciated. My service advisor, Juan, was also fantastic. They were very thorough with the inspection and the car passed, but they did find a few other issues that needed to be addressed--which is completely understandable given the vehicle has almost 170k miles on it. However, since I live far from this area and prefer to use my usual mechanic, I declined the additional repairs. I deeply appreciated that Juan was entirely respectful of my decision and didn't try to pressure or guilt me into getting the work done there. Once the car was ready, Adali came back to pick me up from the swim meet. The checkout process was quick, easy, and the cost was right around $100, which is exactly what I expected for dealership service. Juan gave me a clear rundown of the items they found, categorized by how critical they were, and I was able to handle everything directly with him and get right on my way without having to go stand in a separate cashier line. If I lived closer to this area, I would absolutely use this service department and ask for Juan and Adali again. Highly recommended for their honesty and top-notch customer service!

So first off, be aware all texts and communication by your phone number are AI generated. There is no Jerry! Lol but not really. The other person who gave the review for this dealership about "lies, lies, lies," is 100% accurate! So upon arrival, hardly anyone was around to come and even greet you. If there are sales reps they are just sitting at their desk. I did see some men walking around coming in and out but we were never greeted. We noticed a couple waiting in one of the office areas. Finally, I texted that we were there and the response was, to go back inside and ask for Jerry's AI self. Even the chick that finally walked up to us, kinda had a chuckle when I said the text said to ask for Jerry. So we then ask her about the Durango and we are walked into her office. She asked us how much we were planning to put down and some of our personal information (address, etc) but we still had not heard anything about the car in question. So she takes off, takes awhile to come back and then mentioned to us sorry for taking so long but that she cannot locate that vehicle on their lot or the keys to it. We were so thrown off by this. She literally mentioned this happens a lot, not being able to locate keys to vehicles. Like huh? So then she asks if we wanted to see any other vehicles. We told her we drove all the way out (about an hour) to see that particular vehicle that Jerry's AI self texted is ready to test drive when we arrived. So we asked about another Durango that was literally parked in the front row as you pull into the dealership. She preceded to say "where?" and I even pointed telling her it's the only silver Durango out front as you walk out the front entrance doors. She said she understands but that there are a couple of them. There wasn't. Only one out front. She gave us the pricing finally on it and it wasn't in our budget. Meanwhile, she leaves to go do something and so I just wanted to find out how long the other couple had been waiting. The female mentioned a tad over an hour. I told her yeah, we were told the keys can't be located for the vehicle we were coming to see and she said they were told the same and it was a totally different car. So I ask the girl if there was a manager on site and she said yes. I asked if she could let them know we wanted to speak to them. So then she comes back with the "manager". He asks what he can help us with. I lay out all what had happened and what we were there for. So he says give him a little bit and that he's going to try and look for our vehicle. He comes back and says he tried pulling it up in the system and it wasn't found. So who the h, e, double hockey sticks is lying here!? Her, the manager, both? Anyhow I told him put yourself in our shoes. I asked him how would you like going to look at a specific vehicle you had text communication about that was an hour away with your girlfriend, wife or even by yourself? He said "or my husband". I said "ok, your husband or whomever". He said "I'm kidding". I really didn't care regardless if he was with a man. My point was over looked! I said what I said for the principle of the situation with hopes of him being relatable and making the situation not only heard but taking it in to where they make changes so it's not happening to others moving forward. Screw Clay Cooley! If I could show "zero" stars on my review, I would. Don't be suckered into giving your hard earned financials to this joke of a dealership! Also, "Am I at a club?" The playlist was unprofessional. I can get with Hip Hop music because I'm a fan of it, no doubt but to have the version of Rhiannas, Bitch better have my money playing and just like that, WOW! I just kept hearing bitch, then a guy came on that version going deeper into the obscene language and lyrics and mind you, we were also with our 11 year old son. Awful. Play than in your car or listen to it on your own time. This dealership was crazy, mad, awful. Yes. I wrote this essay intentionally. You read it (or thought of it) No regrets that we, as well as that other couple, left. Waste of time but glad we didn't give our money to them.

FORCED us to purchase GAP, and Tire & Wheel protection otherwise would not finance the vehicle…read more I'm wondering how many other people Stadium Auto has done this to. We went and purchased a 2017 Chevy Camaro on a Saturday. We brought $8,000 Cash as our down payment, the car was listed at $30,222 on the website. We got there and they said they got us approved for financing with NA Lenders. They told us that NA Lenders would ONLY finance us if we purchased the GAP insurance. We had such a large down payment we really didn't need GAP because our insurance would easily cover the vehicle in the event of a total loss. When we didn't want to purchase the GAP they told us sorry that was the only way we could get the car, we asked for our money back and they told us that they already dropped it in the safe. We asked who had the key and they said that person already went home. Since they are closed on Sundays the EARLIEST we could get our money was on Monday. Pretty much they told us that they were keeping our money and there was nothing we could do about it. We actually started to call the police to file a report. The manager and the sales rep assured us that they would have the money in a check available on Monday, thus eluding to the fact that they were keeping our cash. At this point we were stuck, either work a deal with the car, or be out of money so we couldn't go anywhere else over the weekend to purchase a vehicle. They complained that they had to pay the bank a fee to get us financed, and well, long story short they didn't have to pay, they passed that fee over to us, charging us $34,000+ for the car. Then they added the GAP and then told us that we had to buy a $1500 tire and wheel package because they said they messed up on the mileage listing on the website. So they went ahead and raised the price. We get to finance and we have a gentlemen named Armando help us out. He told us that we had a welcome call coming from the finance company and that if asked we were ok with the GAP which we were not. He coaxed us on what to say, and we even asked him if we tell them we don't want the GAP, he said that they would tell us that they could not do the loan. He told us that they had a great relationship with the bank, and that they text him all the time. After talking to our lawyer, we found out that what they did was illegal. Forcing us to purchase an optional contract was against the law. Most likely a violation of the DTPA, deceptive trade and practices act. When we signed the contract they made us sign an amendment to the contract stating that we had to take the lender to Arbitration and not court, and also if we canceled the GAP insurance, it comes off the back end of the contract not the front, which almost EVERY other lender takes that contract off immediately. Starting to paint a picture yet? If the car gets repoed and the contract is on the back end, then you are getting charged interest and the price is higher because of the way the GAP insurance is placed in the contract terms. I'm not certain if what the finance guy said was true, but that would most definitely mean there was a collusion between the dealership and the lender to force unwanted contracts to be purchased, which in turn would definitely be a violation of the DTPA. If you are reading this and you were forced to purchase GAP insurance as a condition of financing please send me an email. Haileynmasterson@gmail.com at this moment its arbitration with the lender and then we are going to take legal action against Stadium Auto.
