This review is for the Austin Crew. I've demolition-ed tile over concrete in the old days with no dust collection and there is no comparison. The "Crew" led by Sergio was awesome. The equipment and methodology Clean Air uses reminds me of Hazmat Cleanup operation. At first seems expensive, but worth every penny, since Lowes charges almost the same amount using the classic dusty method. The Floors look like the tiles were never installed. There is another competing company with the Austin label but they returned my call day too late, unprofessional, and lost of revenue for them. I still don't understand why some businesses don't answer calls live immediately. If your too busy to return potential customer calls you really should reconsider how you are running your business. read more

The crew that serviced our home was top notch and very respectful. I was highly impressed with Adan, he was in charge and he did a phenomenal job! His crew Isiah & Bradley were also great! Since my husband and I have been remodeling our house on our own (attempting to save money), we were hesitant to pay for floor removal, but also really wanted to start speeding up renovations. Late on Thursday evening, I asked Randall Baxter if Clean Air Flooring Removal could remove flooring from two upstairs bathrooms, as well as one (extremely heavy) bath tub and shower wall. The guys were at my house the very next morning and finished in under five hours! The floors in these bathrooms had layers of vinyl on top of old tile. My GC sent these guys over for our kitchen tile flooring demo. We're in Austin, but our GC says they're the best and worth scheduling a drive over from San Antonio. The three guys were friendly, hard working, and considerate. They worked for 5 hours straight, no lunch break or any break that I witnessed. They were careful to save our wood transition strips and quarter round. Our GC said the floor would be clean enough to eat off of, and he was right! No dust anywhere in the house! They taped plastic and covered the counters. Their dust vacuum equipment is serious stuff. Definitely recommend! read more

Clean Air Flooring Removal San Antonio removed existing tile from my kitchen. I could not be happier with the work performed. They showed up on time, set up a laminar air flow system to mitigate dust, covered counters and furniture with plastic, protected flooring in a high traffic area, successfully removed the old tile, ground the concrete subfloor to make it smooth, completely cleaned the worksite and hauled off all debris. All of this was done with care and precision. We had no residual dust in my home and the subfloor was in perfect condition for new tile. In fact, my tile installer commented on the quality of work that had been done removing the old tile and preparing the concrete subfloor for new tile. A particular shout out goes to Johnny and Herman. They comprised the team that did all the work. They were professional and courteous, and worked tirelessly until the job was done. Johnny and Herman are definite assets to this company. Also, a special thank you to Adam who provided an onsite visit and estimate. His communications were excellent while coordinating the project. I highly recommend Clean Air Flooring Removal. They made what has to be the worst job in renovation, taking up tile and wood floors, SO much easier to live with. Their giant vacuums have Hepa filters, there is NO dust spewing out into your home. They really went the extra mile, working on Sunday to keep the construction schedule intact, which involved 3 other trades and their schedules. They were so pleasant and professional, and the neatest contractors I've ever worked with. My quote from another company included additional charges such as a dumpster fee, a travel charge, and a disconnect plumbing charge. Their quote was $910 higher than Clean Air's. It is very refreshing this day in age to see such a well run company, who take pride in their work and treat others as they would want to be treated. READ THIS! Ok, these guys gave a 1/2 hour window and arrived in that time. The crew, about 5 guys came in, all introduced themselves and explained the whole process. The crew leader seemed proud of the service he is providing and it being dustless. They also use an air quality meter during the whole process, with vacuums and 'negative' pressure as the crack up the old tiles and thin set cement. They finished that same day, (as promised). I have never had tile removed and replaced before, but from stories I've heard, it is a dusty HUGE MESS. Not with Clean Air. I HIGHLY recommend this company. (It was offered through Flooring Warehouse, who is now replacing my tiles.) read more
