EEEEEK! Our upcoming move is fast approaching! We recently accepted an offer on our home in GA…read morewhich is exciting, but now the craziness begins. The inspector came to do her evaluation and buyer came back with their repair requests. One of the items was to service the HVAC unit and fix any issues found. Our realtor recommended Service Emperor (SE), so we gave them a call. - Evaluation - Wow, were they fast! After we got off the phone with our realtor in the am, she called them to make an appointment. They were available to come out later that afternoon to do the initial evaluation of the work that needed to be done. This company is pretty high tech! They sent me a text message from the technician, Josh, introducing himself, stating he was on his way and a link to his GPS location that indicated his ETA in live time with a pic of himself attached. You know who to expect, no surprises. Josh was great! He did a full evaluation, made the recommendations which he separated item by item. There were really pricey items for simple fixes like leveling the HVAC unit, but he suggested that if we wanted to go through the trouble, we could save the money and do it ourselves (like lifting the unit, shoveling gravel underneath and putting a leveler until it's level). We appreciated his advice and did just that for the minor issue, but agreed to get the big job done by them. Note that if you call them out to do an initial inspection, there is a fee, but if you agree to do the work they find that needs fixing, they'll waive the fee. Josh had an iPad with him, took pics of every detail and sent us a detailed evaluation with pics attached. - The Main Job - The repairs and full servicing of the unit was done the following week. Josh had come out on Friday. There was a bit of a miscommunication in scheduling the follow up appointment to get the big job done. Called their office on Monday and spoke to the Office Manager and she got us scheduled in a couple of hours. The start time of the appointment is a two hour window, but they showed up closer to the 2 hour mark. This time, Corey and Kenneth came out to do the job. Same as Josh, they sent a text in the same fashion, intro, name, link to GPS tracking and a pic of themselves. They arrived promptly and spent a few hours working on the unit. At the end, they drafted up the invoice, attached the pics and was emailed the invoice on the spot. No nonsense guys, very courteous, did the work efficiently, packed up and left! They also included in their report that they checked that the unit was level and included the pics to the report so we could provide that as proof to the buyers. - Notes - *Woman-owned and veteran-owned! *They provide a military discount, which is never expected but always appreciated! Thank you, SE! - COVID-19 Observations - They are taking serious precautions! First, they are masked up AND they put hospital booties over their work boots when entering our home and diligently took them off when exiting and putting them on again when entering. They had to do this quite a few times getting material in and out of the house. I'm sure that is annoying and I know they have to keep their work boots on for safety and liability, but the fact that they were so considerate to put them on warmed this Korean girl's heart with a strict no shoes policy in the home! (Josh did the same). *Clarification: I was a little confused with the Icebound gear on the techs in the photos, but it looks like the company rebranded to Service Emperor. Well, that's one big item off the repair request list, so thanks SE, for getting it done! The guys were top notch! One step closer to closing on this house and getting out of dodge... Savannah!

We had moved furniture out and vacuumed thoroughly before his arrival. Good thing, because he did not. The vacuum on his steamer apparently did not have much sucking power because he left the carpets sopping wet. I even found a peanut deposited in one of the rooms! One of the bathroom tile floors still had dirt and grime in the corners and at the base of the vanity. The solvent he used has a terrible chemical smell. Never again!

This company an extreme disappointment. If you have to have a cleaning done I would NOT RECOMMEND…read moreusing them. They don't explain that they charge for 2 rooms whether they clean 2 or 1. In my case the one room they "cleaned" was not cleaned correctly. It was expressed there were pets, in the home, and that was the reason for the cleaning. It was later explained that the carpet should have been raked (for the pet fur), then vacuumed, then cleaned. This however, was not done. Upon further inspection, it was found there were literally clumps of fur, all over the room, especially behind the door. Pictures were taken and this was communicated to the office. Upon review they AGREED the service was not completed to their standard or ours. What we were Not made aware of is apparently they have given themselves 30 days to correct any issues. According to the GM this policy is NOT in writing Not is it provided to customers. The room that was cleaned was in an elderly woman's home. We cleared everything from the room to assist with the cleaning. In the week it took to get resolution, we had to put the items back in the room. My mom was unable to move safely around her home with the clutter. We had to contact another company to complete the cleaning. A week later the office manager Tye arrived to make things right. She agreed to the work but needed a final approval. The GM that was contacted refuse to approve. We cleared a much smaller space, closer to the door, to allow them to rectify this issue. The GM not only refused to give a refund, a partial refund, or to clean the smaller space, but instead offered a 5% discount off a full price cleaning. (again they charge for 2 rooms min even if they only clean 1) THIS HAS BEEN MY MOST DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE SINCE MOVING BACK TO SAVANNAH, TO HELP MY MOTHER. I WILL NEVER USE THIS FRANCHISE BUSINESS AGAIN.
