I don't own my place but I like to keep it clean and I am so thankful I called Clean Carpet Rx because I had no idea how dirty my rug and my couch actually were...yikes! I must also add in that I am a perfectionist, crazy OCD, neat/clean freak and I vacuum everyday, but there is no amount of vacuuming that could've been done in order to do what Stephen and his crew did for my place! My appointment was easy to make and Stephen was able to fit me into his schedule that same week. He gave me an estimate over the phone and it was almost exact after the cleaning was done (which made me happy). I scheduled the cleaning to be completed when I was out of town, which worked out really well. I left a key for them to get in my place and clean and came home to (what felt like) a brand new couch and carpet! Take note that they do not move furniture, but they clean around it, so I moved a lot of my stuff into my kitchen so they could clean areas that normally wouldn't get cleaned (under my ottoman, my peloton, barstools, etc.) It also was cheaper to have my whole place done rather than just one couch or upholstery because they have to carry all the equipment into your place regardless, so minds well get more than one piece of furniture cleaned. We have four children who have lots of friends and WHITE carpet (stupid idea, I know. It wasn't mine). Anyway, we desperately needed our carpets cleaned and at least sanitized. I didn't expect all the stains to be lifted, because white and red dirt. My husband, who is in construction, asked a buddy of his for a recommendation and they gave us the name of Clean Carpet Rx. Leave it to us to wait until the last minute, Clean Carpet RX was able to fit us in almost immediately. They were a little (well, more than a little) more expensive than our usual guy. But they did such an amazing job, I was glad to pay it. All our stains weren't lifted, but the VAST majority were, and our carpets look a lot less biohazard than they did before the cleaning. Lionel and his partner, Ali, (who looks like Cisco from The Flash ) were fast, efficient, kind, patient, and very clear about what was involved and what we needed to do after they left (stay off for 4-6 hours, no furniture for 24 hours). My four children were full of questions and Lionel answered them so patiently. He never once had a bad attitude about anything. Our original appointment was for 2-4, but they called me at 11 asking if I'd be willing for them to come early. They were polite and apologized if it were inconvenient. My house was a mess, but they were so understanding (hello, 4 kids and cleaning to get the carpets ready to be cleaned). Like others, I also hired Clean Carpet Rx based on their Yelp reviews and ratings and sure enough, they measured up to the 5 star ratings that everyone raves about. I had a 3 bedroom Navy house with carpet on the second floor and I also have a small dog...so prior to move out, I'm required to get the carpet professionally cleaned and also need to get it treated for flea and ticks. These guys did an amazing job in cleaning the carpet and making it smell great...in fact, the carpet looked brand new! I passed my move out inspection with no issues, instead I received a complement on how the house didn't smell (prob because I had a pet) and I know it was due to the carpet cleaning. Had an overall good experience with this Clean Carpet Rx. It was easy to make an appointment. They came on time during the time frame promised (9-11am). Lionel and one other worker were the employees who serviced us. Lionel was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything pretty thoroughly. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I wish they gave a confirmed appointment time instead of a 2-hour window. Also, they use their shoes in your home which was immediately a red flag. Naturally, since here in Hawaii it's uncommon to wear shoes in the house, this stood out to me. When I brought this up, Lionel explained that it's a safety precaution for them as employees and that they will always work backwards and not "re-walk" on the areas they just cleaned. I then asked/suggested if they have a separate set of shoes for using indoors, but his response was that they need to go in and out for the equipment they'd be using. I guess it would've been cool to see them use shoes for just indoor-use or shower caps over their shoes and put a tarp outside by the front door which is really the only area they go outside when going in and out. I appreciated that they removed the small area of wax that spilled and dried on my carpet. I posted before and after photos although it's not a major noticeable difference since I have Berber carpet which it's pattern and weave make it harder to see dirt/grime...so when cleaned, it's not as noticeable. We saw the reviews for this and decided to try it out. We have a 2 year old and 2 doggos that like getting into trouble. Called and was received by Steven. Super friendly and extremely helpful. He gave us a very reasonable price to clean our 3 bedroom 1200sqft townhouse. In 2 days time, they were out exactly when they said they would. I was not home, but my wife let him in and watched him get to work. She didnt catch the technicians name, but was very impressed with his attention to detail. Carpet we thought were gone to slime and playdoh wars were brought back to life. Stairs that were stained for years looked pretty brand new again. He got into every nook and cranny there was. Our microfiber couch didnt have dog/baby smells anymore. It was awesome. And he even brought up his products he was using was pet and kid friendly. So disappointed. I called them on Friday- no answer so I left a voicemail. Yelp says they usually respond within 7 hours. A whole 24 hours pass- nothing. Their website says they're customer service professionals are available by phone 24/7! ....maybe they're busy, it is the holidays plus bad weather... benefit of the doubt right? So I email them through their 'get a cleaning quote' on their website. Another 24 hours go by- and nothing. So I waited.... and waited.... Gave them one more shot and called them on Monday- no answer. So I waited.. It's been 5 days since I first contacted them. I can see how much you value your customers. These guys did a great job cleaning our apartment carpets before we moved out. They came in as scheduled and made the carpets look brand new. I'll admit, our carpets were pretty clean to begin with, but our landlords required we shampoo them before we move out. What I liked about these guys is that they gave me s short window. It was noon to two. I've had companies tell me "we'll be there between eight and five." That sucks and ruins your whole day. I was able to plan around the two hour window, and when they arrived, they were done in less than an hour. Keep in mind that rates are cheaper if you are in a house. We were in a condo, and it's more expensive for them to bring their portable equipment into a building. I wasn't thrilled to learn about that little detai, but they offer a military discount and they have a Yelp deal to help offset the cost. Their shampoo is nontoxic, which is great. It looked like a stampede of football players passed through my doorway everyday with dirty shoes. The friendly fellas calls you beforehand to let you know if they are on the way. I was given great advice on how to maintain my carpet in between professional cleanings. The first time I used their services, I had an add on treatment for $15 to clean a beige large cushion for my bench. This would have have been a 5-Star review if not for the rocky start. So let's start off with Nick who saved the show. I booked a cleaning on a day that I was off from work. It was going to be tight cause the only time left was an arrival time of 1-3pm, with a cleaning time of 1-1/2 hours. Hubby and I had people to meet and places to go. I had to leave at 3:30 and hubby had to leave at 4:30. Nick called me at 1:20ish to let me know they were running behind at their current job but should be there at 3pm. Long story short, they weren't able to make it to our place until 3:40. So how did he save this review? He kept me updated every chance he had so there were no surprises. Plus, he was very apologetic and humble. I don't really expect things to go perfectly with any service. Just expect people to be honest and humble. Nick was the epitome of GREAT SERVICE. Then there's the actual work done. BEST EVER! We have two granddogs and one of them has "issues". The stairway smelled like pee even though we tried to clean it up. This is the first company who left the stairway smelling really pleasant. Usually, they'll come and clean but after it dries, the pee odor starts coming out. It was to the point where I thought it was normal and inevitable. Not so. They did the job right! Going back to rocky start... Person I called initially was pleasant, and provided information thoroughly. So what was the problem? Did you ever talk to someone who said things in the right tone but left you feeling like you weren't all that important to them? That's how I felt. Maybe it's just me. I had called back after realizing they were going to charge me $100 if I cancelled so I wanted to be sure my date was not going to fall through. Checked my schedule, called back and got a voice mail. Left a message and never got a call back. After a really busy week, I called again and got the same person. Again, he was calm and matter-of-fact, which is a good thing. But when I mentioned the not getting a returned call, he never apologized. I get that, since you don't admit guilt for something you didn't do but there ARE ways to apologize without admitting guilt. On 08-27-2020, the carpet was supposedly cleaned by this company. However when I entered the property on 08-31-2020, I could smell pet odor coming off the carpet and see pet hair everywhere as well. There were also circular brown spots which looked like it leaked from their cleaning machine. I called Stephen and was shocked with the way he handled my concern. He said it would be another cost for them to come back after the service was done. I denied their service and told him I will look elsewhere. Overall good and super nice team, but there is a small group of circular stains that was not present before the cleaning and so I'm a bit frustrated that there are new stains! They only showed up as the carpet started to dry. Not sure what the deal is, if it had something to do with the product they used or what, since they look like drips from something.
