Although Andy could have scheduled us for a later date, he sensed the urgency of our situation and was kind enough to work around my availability. Today, I wasn't expecting another call from MD Restoration, but my husband had been in contact with Andy, who helped us get the dehumidifier scheduled. Around a little past 3 p.m., Yonell called me. I missed her first call, but she left a voicemail and followed up just minutes later. When I answered, Yonell was truly a breath of fresh air. After a long workday, her jolly and upbeat personality helped me de-stress immediately. Even though it was near the end of the day, she was still lively, positive, and a pleasure to speak with. She promptly scheduled herself and her team to come out right away with the necessary equipment for dehumidification of our Mikasa. Yonell arrived exactly as scheduled, and she and her partner completed their tasks efficiently. I must also add in that I am a perfectionist, crazy OCD, neat/clean freak and I vacuum everyday, but there is no amount of vacuuming that could've been done in order to do what Stephen and his crew did for my place! My appointment was easy to make and Stephen was able to fit me into his schedule that same week. He gave me an estimate over the phone and it was almost exact after the cleaning was done (which made me happy). I scheduled the cleaning to be completed when I was out of town, which worked out really well. I left a key for them to get in my place and clean and came home to (what felt like) a brand new couch and carpet! Take note that they do not move furniture, but they clean around it, so I moved a lot of my stuff into my kitchen so they could clean areas that normally wouldn't get cleaned (under my ottoman, my peloton, barstools, etc.) It also was cheaper to have my whole place done rather than just one couch or upholstery because they have to carry all the equipment into your place regardless, so minds well get more than one piece of furniture cleaned. I asked Yelp for a recommendation and Oahu Windows and Doors contacted me very quickly. They said they would send Nick, "our repair guy," out to take a look and give me an estimate on a repair. Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and effective in solving my problem. I highly recommend Oahu Windows and Doors.
