Lynn and Josh did a great job stretching and cleaning our two bedrooms and living room carpet. Called their office and spoke to Yvonne. She was very friendly and gave me a conservative quote based on what I described over the phone. In the end, the amount quoted was spot-on. No surprises. Both Lynn and Josh showed up several minutes early and kept to their allotted time. Which made it easy for us to plan our day. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they kept their equipment and area clean. Carpet was installed in 2014, but the installer never stretched it. It started rippling and buckling in several areas, causing permanent folds down the middle of the room. Thankfully, Lynn and Josh were able to stretch and re-tack all three rooms. We are in the process of moving into my in-law's duplex. They're previous tenants had a small dog but kept the carpet in mint condition. There were no visible signs of fleas or dog fur but being that myself and my children have sensitive skin, we've decided to seek a carpet cleaner to steam clean and deodorize the carpet. The carpet also gathered and had creases in a handful of areas and needed to be stretched. We checked on Yelp and inquired with a different company but thankfully, Yelp sent my message to several carpet cleaners and I'm so glad they did! Lynn from MGM reached out and recommended us to contact Yvonne to get a better scope of things. My husband contacted Yvonne and she was super personable and friendly. She was able to arrange her grandson Josh to come and give an estimate the very next day for both steam cleaning w/deodorizer and carpet stretching. Josh was very communicative. He called to let us know that he was on his way so it gave us time to tidy the area and clear out the mess that was left. Josh was super polite. He made sure that he knew what services we were seeking and was able to point out the issues that he may run into & gave us the worst-case scenarios so we are made aware. The consult took about 45 minutes and he was able to provide a rough estimate. We were able to book him to come in the very next day (thank goodness) and again, Josh called to let us know he was on his way so that we can make sure the area was clear. He took about 2 hours to complete the carpet stretching and then had us inspect it and go over the areas that were a bit challenging as he suspected during the estimate. He made sure that we were pleased with the outcome before he started the cleaning process. He was able to complete both the carpet stretching and steam cleaning within a 4-hour period...all by himself! He was quick and took pride in his work. We're definitely going to utilize MGM for their services when that time comes! read more

Even though they are the only carpet stretchers on island, I can only imagine that they are best. We really needed to fix our carpet that was poorly installed in our house (it had many wrinkles), and so Josh and Lynn came to the rescue! The owner just crushed my Legg with his professional vacuum against my front door step. It's fucking sore. He didn't even say sorry after doing it. He did an excellent warranty work on recently purchased carpets and an outstanding job on an older Berber carpet. The older Berber had stains that another company did not totally remove. ***If I could give 10 stars I would*** So my roommate tracked in a bunch of red dirt from the west side all though our downstairs living room. I called a lot of companies and most told me that the red dirt just doesn't come out. Some didn't even bother to give me a quote because they didn't think they could do the job. I called Lynn at MGM and he assured me if they can't get it out...it's not coming out. Well....after they cleaned my carpet, not only is the red stains gone, but they removed stains that must have been there for years. The carpet looks brand new. They really do amazing work. That wasn't even the best part. The stand out was the level of customer service. They were respectful of my time, they were so careful not to scuff up my walls with their equipment, and they arrived on time. I also had them clean my couches. These couches have to be close to 2 decades old and now they look and smell brand new. Don't waste your money renting a rug doctor or hiring one of those rando pop up companies.
