Came here recently with my wife to check it out, and we had an OK experience. First, I was very impressed by the selection of meals in the fridge! So many different options, and everything seemed pretty healthy. We opted to order something fresh and hot for this visit, though - I got the buffalo chicken wrap with steamed broccoli on the side, while my wife got the chicken pesto wrap. It took a while to prepare the food, so I'm not sure it'd be a great idea to come when it's busy, but I guess that means it's truly cooked fresh, right? Anyway, we brought it home and dug in. Honestly, my buffalo chicken wrap was pretty mediocre. Not the worst one I've ever had but I think I could buy something pretty similar in any grocery store. The steamed broccoli on the side was pretty gross - it was burnt and had no seasoning. My wife also thought her food was meh. I really love the mission behind Clean Eatz but importantly I wanted to shout out Tamyra at the Cary location. She went out of her way to display exemplary customer service! She helped answer questions with a smile on her face, and turned what I thought would be a normal transaction into an experience! She was extremely kind and welcoming, and makes me want to come back in the future because of how kind and helpful she was! You can tell that this company goes out of their way and everything they do with their customer service, and Tamyra was a prime example of that! Have passed by many times but never had a chance to try. Great fast casual concept offering fresh healthy alternatives to the usual lunch options nearby as well as meal programs. Interior was nice clean and spacious with plenty of seating. We ordered the chicken pesto wrap and the Hammerhead (salmon, turkey bacon, spinach, guacamole with a cilantro lime sauce) wrap. Both wraps could've used more oomph. The description gave us the expectations that these were packed with flavor. The chicken pesto didn't have much pesto flavor & was pretty bland. Likewise, the Hammerhead should've had more flavor with a cilantro lime sauce but I didn't taste either. The salmon was odd little pieces & didn't taste like salmon at all. The veggies automatically came with a side of ranch which I'm not a fan of. If there was another option, I wasn't made aware of it. read more

For the convenience, it's nice to be able to store a bunch of meals and just have them in the freezer. Some are really really good, and some aren't quite worth the price charged. I will say the good for you nachos are very good and I can't believe they're under 500 calories. It does make it easier to eat healthy when you have options that taste good. read more

I'm really not impressed by the food or the service. People had hyped it up (one of my friends gets 30 meals at a time) and I was preparing to have surgery, so having some pre-made meals seemed like the way to go, oh how I regret that decision. I was a first timer and I was asking loads of questions (I was the only person in the shop). I was barely given the time of day to answer the questions. The cashier kept walking into the kitchen and I had to keep waiting for her to come back. She kept turning away from me and talking to the cook about nothing that I had asked. I felt like asking if I needed to wait for the conversation to finish. I was going to give it a whirl anyway, since people have said the meals were good and picked out 6 low carb meals to start, figuring if they were good, I could have someone pick more up for me. What I didn't expect was 6 no-taste meals. The cauliflower rice does not hold up well to freezing and was so mushy, I couldn't eat it. The sirloin meat (balsamic added a nice touch with the asparagus) and the jerk chicken were palatable. The others, unfortunately went into the trash. I'm not a fan, but others are. read more

I love to work out, and this place finally has good clean food that I know I'm not cheating my diet for. There's also really affordable take home meal preps, so you can take the effort out of eating healthy at home. The owner is yoked and a stud (I've only met him once, he's just dope af and obviously knows what he's doing). Enough of the crap, rip the bandaid off and start eating healthy. Good concept and breaks away from usual fast food. I had the salmon burger with side of veggies which consisted of raw broccoli, cucumbers and tomatoes which were fresh and good quality. The salmon burger was good, could definitely use a sauce on it but that's not so clean i suppose. My partner had the G.O.A.T which was tasty, filled with plenty of cheese the only downfall was over roasted chickpeas but we can get around that :) I feel with more business it can get better. read more

After ordering I found out that everything comes from US Foods and is not organic or fresh caught. This means it's not clean food. A good concept and choice to alternative fast food chains. Menu selection is decent, at first I was going to try a salad but went with the bison burger. Very disappointed....it was over cooked. Bison should not be cooked past medium. The waffle fries were burnt and to top it off a drink came with and I mixed half unsweetened tea with lemonade and it tasted like a cleaning agent. Neat establishment offering ready-to-eat and frozen nutritious meals. After passing it numerous times, I decided to stop in for dinner. I ordered in advance and my order was ready when I arrived and accurate. I noticed the frozen meals and asked one of the employees how the meal plans work. The friendly, enthusiastic employee working the front, explained how you can buy as many or as few meals as you want. If you purchase a certain amount, then each meal is cheaper. Frozen meals start at $6.50 and meals with extra protein are $8. Meals offered change daily. After perusing all the freezers, I decided on two to purchase. They have a variety of frozen meals to choose from, but not many vegetarian/vegan options. From the cafe menu, we ordered a turkey burger with yogurt ($7.99) and build-a-bowl ($11.79). The turkey burger tasted okay, but was very simple (turkey burger on a sandwich thin with turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese). The yogurt was delicious. The build a bowl was good. The base was brown rice with beyond meat, zucchini, mushrooms, edamame, Thai sauce, and clean herbz. I was glad the sauce was on the side so that you can pick how much you want to add. The bowl overall tasted great, it was just spicier than I anticipated - I believe from the clean herbz spice mixture. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, it is just a little simple for the price. Portions are reasonable. Great idea for people who do not know how or do not have time to cook a meal. I would likely return if I forgot to meal plan for the week. read more

I really enjoy using the meal plan for gluten free lunch options. Love that it takes the thought process out of macros. I haven't loved all the meals I've tried, but definitely the majority and I just remember not to order that meal next time. The protein Buckeyes are really yummy- definitely grab them when they have them because they go quick. I love them for an afternoon pick me up so I don't go for junk. Amazing that this popped up on my local lunch delivery! I ordered the Boston Mass Queso with veggies. Came super fresh and pretty large portions! The chicken was not chewy, cheese tasted super clean and I didn't have that heavy feeling after. Veggies were crisp along with great dipping sauce! So happy this place has come to Cary and I will be returning! Wish they had some pressed juices but that would be my only addition to there menu! Also have vegan options as well! read more

I've been meaning to write a review since they opened. Finally a place that has healthy menu options that taste great! This is a convenient location to get fresh and healthy food and also purchase frozen meals that are better than buying frozen overly preserved items at the store. I love how you can also be on the weekly meal pick up a schedule where they offer a variety of meals every week. The employees are also very helpful, the kitchen will modify any of the dishes which make it even better. Did I say very affordable too! I hope they never close business! read more

The food here is great! It is really healthy and perfect for a post-workout meal. They also have pre-made meals that you can purchase to take home as sort of a meal prep. They have regular options like wraps and burgers, but they are made without all the unnecessary fats and oils that are usually in most restaurant food. I have been an active user of Yelp for well over 5 years and this is my first ever review. My experience here was bad. Like baby's first attempt at cooking bad. My partner used to tell a story about making dirt sandwiches for her grandfather and he ate every bite and smiled while he did that. This is what it felt like to eat here, except I am not a grandfather and do not posess such boundless love. I ordered two make your own bowls, one with sweet chili sauce, the other with fire roasted salsa, but both containers contained sweet chili. Strike one. When we opened our bowls, the portion was dismal and I felt hunger pangs just looking at it. Keep in mind that I ordered two mediums which at any other bowl establishment in the triangle seems to fill me up (I am over 6 feet and 200 pounds). Strike two. Upon tasting the bowls both were equally bland. Brussel sprouts burnt on one side, but still undercooked, beyond meat (which cost an extra 2 dollar per bowl!) bland and tasteless beyond the boundaries of what I had previously thought a tasteless mush could be. Everything else was either under over done and tasted like....nothing at all. There was no salt, no peppers, no flavor at all. In addition, the aforementioned sweet chili sauce was neither sweet nor spicy, but an unexpectedly unappetizing mess of mystery flavor that still eludes me. Strike three. To top it all off, this bland, unseasoned, poorly cooked, poorly portioned meal was 25 dollar and change. Just proof that price does not instantly qualify quality. This establishment seems to depend on the blandness of its food, but I expect something more, especially considering how popular and plentiful make your own bowl establishments are in the triangle. TL;DR Overpriced, under portioned, no salt/bland, undercooked Do not recommend. read more

I suffer from reflux (GERD). I asked for one of their wraps and specifically asked them to hold the red onions (which are terrible for reflux!). My wrap had about half of a red onion. It was the dominant flavor. Very disappointed. Not many people there at dinner time. Will give them one more chance and will update review if I have a better experience. read more

I just moved to the area and have been looking for a place to grab quick healthy meals for the week. I frequently went to My Fit Foods in Denver and was expecting Clean Eatz to be similar. I was a little surprised when I realized the meals were all frozen but figured I'd still give it a shot. I am not at all impressed with the meals ive tried so far. The chicken has been inedible - I ended up throwing it away after 2 bites. It reminded me of the chicken you get in a canned soup (super rubbery and lots of gristle). There was also lots of excess water from the frozen veggies and little to no seasoning/flavor on the meat or veggies. I have a few meals left to try, so I'm hoping I have a better experience with those. read more

Yum! My first Visit... very good! I enjoy the way the Veg is cooked, hot but not cooked to death. I did a build your Bowl and my boyfriend got a Turkey Burger w/yogurt, his daughter got a build your Bowl also. Was good portion size for me, I love the fact you can buy Meal Plans for very affordable prices also! So, as a vegan I'm always looking for somewhere to get a healthy meal. When a friend told me about this place, I was excited to try it out. I ordered the build your own bowl. When I asked about the sizes, I was told that referred to the protein only and I should order the small if I was just having veggies. I also ordered the buffalo cauliflower. When my bowl came out there was about 1 cup and half of veggies at the bottom. When I asked why I had barely any food, I was told, "well, they usually add meat to it." I said I paid the same price, wouldn't they add extra veg to make up for the missing meat? She added a bit of veggies to my bowl and brought it back to me. The cauliflower was terrible. I don't know what else to say but that I couldn't eat it. The sauce was an odd tasting, spicy concoction that had a pickled flavor I couldn't identify. My mom ordered a salad. The takeaway for me was marginal food at best, pricey for portion size, and if you're appetite is remotely hearty, you will leave hungry. Would not return. read more

I went to a private meal building event. The food was good, I actually really enjoyed the options and the last minute accommodations made for my vegetarian diet (I let them know ahead of time and they "didn't get that email"), however the price of 3 meals for $40 that was relayed to us, was not what showed up on my bank statement. I tried to disputed the $52, but as I declined a receipt at the time, I had no proof except the email from the planned meal building event. I bet if I had taken my receipt this wouldn't have happened, but my hands were full as a mom to a toddler. Lesson learned. I totally would have returned if they didn't charge me more than they advertised. read more

i had one meal so far. it was ok. not great but not bad. my issue was with the service when i went in. i ordered my meals and went to pick them up. customer service was poor. no packaging on the meals i ordered so i have no idea what it is and what calorie/fat content is. and no instructions for heating were included. i would have thought that for a business starting out they would have spent more time welcoming new customers. when i asked questions about food prep, i felt like the sales person did not want to be bothered. its a shame bc i want to support new businesses and franchises but it starts with customer service for me and it was lacking. read more
