Very clean restaurant where you order at the counter. Food is fresh and bland. Gluten free option available. Take come meals available in the refrigerator and freezer section.

Have passed by many times but never had a chance to try. Great fast casual concept offering fresh healthy alternatives to the usual lunch options nearby as well as meal programs. Interior was nice clean and spacious with plenty of seating. We ordered the chicken pesto wrap and the Hammerhead (salmon, turkey bacon, spinach, guacamole with a cilantro lime sauce) wrap. Both wraps could've used more oomph. The description gave us the expectations that these were packed with flavor. The chicken pesto didn't have much pesto flavor & was pretty bland. Likewise, the Hammerhead should've had more flavor with a cilantro lime sauce but I didn't taste either. The salmon was odd little pieces & didn't taste like salmon at all. The veggies automatically came with a side of ranch which I'm not a fan of. If there was another option, I wasn't made aware of it.

You're better off going somewhere else. I just tried a bowl today and honestly worst bowl I've ever had.

Neat establishment offering ready-to-eat and frozen nutritious meals. After passing it numerous times, I decided to stop in for dinner. I ordered in advance and my order was ready when I arrived and accurate. I noticed the frozen meals and asked one of the employees how the meal plans work. The friendly, enthusiastic employee working the front, explained how you can buy as many or as few meals as you want. If you purchase a certain amount, then each meal is cheaper. Frozen meals start at $6.50 and meals with extra protein are $8. Meals offered change daily. After perusing all the freezers, I decided on two to purchase. They have a variety of frozen meals to choose from, but not many vegetarian/vegan options. From the cafe menu, we ordered a turkey burger with yogurt ($7.99) and build-a-bowl ($11.79). The turkey burger tasted okay, but was very simple (turkey burger on a sandwich thin with turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese). The yogurt was delicious. The build a bowl was good. The base was brown rice with beyond meat, zucchini, mushrooms, edamame, Thai sauce, and clean herbz. I was glad the sauce was on the side so that you can pick how much you want to add. The bowl overall tasted great, it was just spicier than I anticipated - I believe from the clean herbz spice mixture. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, it is just a little simple for the price. Portions are reasonable. Great idea for people who do not know how or do not have time to cook a meal. I would likely return if I forgot to meal plan for the week.

Good healthy food, a wide variety of options, and prices are pretty reasonable. I really enjoyed my shredded beef flatbread. They also had unique drop options including cucumber water, unseeet tea (with no cal sweetener nearby) and my favorite there strawberry lemongrass was amazing.

The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. I sat on a small section of a very comfortable couch with pillows and all. I later sat out front on one of the benches. They also have a patio seating out back. Glad I was able to check this coffee shop out since it was on my list, but not sure it's one I will rush back to.

Do note eggs are only hard boiled on the toasts here. The Deets: Going out of my normal weekend routine, I decided to venture out to Simmer Coffee House located at Amberly Place in Cary. I had seen this one pop up on my Yelp feed so naturally I was curious. I got there fairly early, right after opening, but it started filling up fairly fast so appears to be a popular stop. The shop itself is nicely appointed, clean, bright, and welcoming with plenty of inside and outside seating. They offer a nice variety of items on their menu some of which include coffee beverages, matcha, ube, "build your own toast" items, even ice cream/sorbet. Service/staff was very welcoming and helpful when I approached to order at the counter. Loved that they used my name not only to place on my order but addressed me by name when the order was delivered, I like personal style service. I went with a hot skim latte and a toasted with avocado/smoked salmon. I wanted scrambled egg on my toast as well but they do not make eggs any other way than hard boiled here (I am not a fan of hard boiled eggs, a me-thing). I know of a few coffeehouses that serve eggs hard boiled only, this shop is one of them. When my order was delivered in good time, I enjoyed my day-starting meal. The latte was served in a nice mug since staying in house and tasted great. My toast with avocado and smoked salmon was equally good as well. Overall a nice visit to Simmer Coffee House and I would consider it more 4.5 stars all things considered.

Positive helpful service. I would avoid the crowded times as I could see this area getting loud with the acoustics there. The Deets: Looking for a change from the normal breakfast places I frequent, I chose First Watch down the road from me (located near The Bradford apartment complex in Cary). I had been there years ago but not gone back to this location since then so they were due for a visit. I was seated promptly upon entering with menus to take in while my beverages came to the table. This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as well decorated for a breakfast chain but I can appreciate that when the indoor area gets more crowded, the acoustics can make for a loud atmosphere. They have a good selection from their regular menu as well as a seasonal menu with specials at that time. I went with the Tri-Fecta breakfast meal, which has two eggs any style, either a Belgian waffle/multigrain pancake, choice of bacon/smoked ham/chicken sausage patties/turkey or pork sausage links. I went with my eggs scrambled, one multigrain pancake, and the chicken apple sausage patties. I enjoyed my selection, a good well rounded breakfast. The scrambled eggs were done just as I like them as in not too runny, not too solid browned. The chicken apple sausage patties were a pleasant surprise in that I loved the taste here in that they were not overly spicy and had just enough apple to make it delicious but not sweet...I will definitely remember these in the future. The pancake was pretty fluffy and not dense, as well as a good sized pancake as well in that one was enough for me with all the other choices. My server was very pleasant and helpful (note that refills are taken care of here by a small carafe of coffee left at the table as well as a small bottle of water, as these were my beverage choices). One other observation, not sure why the few regular non-flavored Half-And-Halfs were at the bottom of the bowl on the table and only many all flavored one carefully arranged on very top, but regular ones were there if you dig for them. You can take your bill up front to pay or if choosing to pay at the table then you must do so by QR code (I am not a QR code fan, just never know what you are scanning out and about to be honest why I shy away from it...I have friends in IT security if you cannot tell...). There was a small wait for someone to come to the front register to check me out for paying. I enjoyed this breakfast stop for the most part here at this First Watch location and would visit again in the future but early as possible like this time, to avoid crowds.

One thing that was an incredibly exciting surprise the last time I went were the whole beans they had for sale from Fritz Coffee (imported from Korea im pretty sure). I had to grab a bag despite them being a bit pricey as they were freshly roasted too (price was expected for something like that).
