Great mgmt - had an issue & Tom the manager was so kind & helped me with everything today. I've only ordered from the menu (not the frozen foods yet), & so far almost everything I've gotten has been absolutely delicious: - Bowls that you build with ingredients you like that have an amazing Char grilled flavor: * Carb - I like the base of potatoes * Protein - Love their chargrilled shrimp * Veggies - I get mushrooms, zucchini, & asparagus * Sauce: Love the sweet chili sauce - not too spicy. - Turkey burger: Very very good and has such a good flavor with that chargrilled taste. - Sweet potato fries: The flavor is good, but they I wish they were a little bit more crisper. Still recommend tho! - Mac & cheese: Not my fave as noodles were gummy & not much sauce, but could be because it's more healthy, ha ha. - Turkey burnt ends Cuban sandwich is amazing. I got the chipotle ranch on the side, so good. The turkey has great flavor & super moist, & the flatbread is soft and fluffy! - Milk Chocolate Buckeyes in the open frig (rt of register) are to die for! Inconsistency in Meals...prepared meals I thought were bland actually tasted good....meals i thought would be really good (Chicken Terriyaki) were just so so. Meals are not prepared on site; they are frozen and shipped from NC. Also when you order the meal plan ahead of time, the meals are not necessarily labeled! It was hard to remember what i had ordered looking through the frozen meals. Finally when i signed up, I was offered an introductory discount, and when i applied it, this was never honored. i mentioned it to the Manager/Franchisee, and every time i brought it up, he always had another excuse why the system would not let him apply it. Anyways overall it filled my need for a few weeks, but I do not plan on patronizing this location again! read more

Their opening motivates me to go the gym more bc I'm not tempted to get something unhealthy after workouts. Today I had a very hard session and was absolutely zeroed out. Getting a healthy protein calories within 10 min after a workout is critical for muscle retention and recovery and I was able to thanks to Clean Eatz! The location is In Haygood Shopping Center, which is on the west side of Independence Boulevard about midway between its intersection with Virginia Beach Boulevard & Shore Drive. In addition to our choice, cafe offerings, it features weekly meal plans, meals to go, & catering services. The focus is on healthy eating. Clean Eatz met my son's current weight loss, vegan eating habits quite well. He ordered his standard bowl, which one can tailor to their choices. I chose a Chicken Pesto Wrap. I must admit that there are quite a number of appealing wraps on the menu that I would like to try. They even have drink that are "clean" (no additives). Prices are based on how many meals you purchase. These meals are great for people counting calories or trying portion control. Owner replied to a review very rudely and was passive aggressive in their responsive. All I gave was honest feedback about how the portion sizes for a $13 bowl charged were too small even for a 108 pound female who left hungry after their meal. Not a "bad review" at all so don't know why this was taken so personally... Just cause you have positive reviews doesn't make it right to be pompous to other customers who are sharing their honest experience online for diners to be aware about, with the small portion sizes and overcooked food. But they don't have a very good selection of diet drinks... they have regular, sugary, energy, and not-sweetened, but no diet I saw. Their website also doesn't allow you to order ahead and pay at the store. Those minor inconveniences aside, I was in/out of here pretty fast. It's in the busy Haywood shopping center across from Noodleman and on the strip by Dollar Tree and Kelly's. The parking lot is BUSY. Like, pulling out was hard cause folks were driving by a lot. We looked at the website, called in the order, drove over, it was ready when I got there, paid and took it back to work. I've seen lots of ads for Clean Eatz on Yelp but never tried it. I'll definitely be back since it's close, good, healthy, and not too expensive. We tried both the fresh veggies and the fruit cup sides. Both were really great and fresh. The ranch they give you with the veggies is kind of boring and cheap. You can pick one or the other, and there may be another choice or two as well. I chose the hammerhead wrap, it comes with cooked salmon and turkey bacon. It was so good! And just the right serving. Lots of nice spinach, some tasty sauce. The salmon was soft and was complimented by the sauce and veg. The turkey bacon provided nice texture. My coworker got the "watch your waist" wrap, which came with chicken. she really liked it and the watermelon / fruit cup. We are ready to order again! There's lots of sitting room inside, it was really clean from what I saw in my dash in/out. Ordered a Buffalo wrap which wasn't bad at all. However, the sweet potato fries and broccoli were cold and seemed to be reheated from previously made meals, or the week's batch cooking. Every fry in the basket was burnt on one side or another. The Mac and cheese was horrible. The flooring in the place is falling apart in different areas. Watch your step when heading to the bathrooms. Service was nothing special, in fact, the woman at the counter seemed a bit grumpy to be there, and lacked the knowledge to answer questions regarding the menu. Yelp failed me on this one. read more

This was my first visit to Clean Eatz. The concept of this place is so unique to me. Meal prepping is literally one of the hardest things to do because of the time put in. So, having a place like this where the food is prepared for you and they also make family dishes as well. So, if you are not in the mood to cook then maybe stop by and check out their selections. The venue itself was very open and clean. They made sure to adhere to the social distancing rules as well. The food: I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was my first choice, and I am glad I stuck with it. I had it along with sweet potato fries. The wrap was a little pricey, but it was well worth it. A lot of wraps always feel like you are only eating sauce and basil. This was so different because you could taste the chicken and it had just enough crunch it in it as well. The wrap was so delicious that I literally could not put it down. It was seasoned well and most importantly very light on my stomach. The fries were ok, and I say that because you are not going to go here and get crunchy greasy fries (YUM). They complimented the wrap very well. I was not a huge fan of the peanut butter bites but that was something extra. It was the taste of the dark chocolate for me. Overall: I think it is a great place to eat clean and healthy. Had to be over in the Haygood area today at lunchtime, so I went to Yelp to look for somewhere new to try. Clean Eatz had good reviews. I have to agree that I thought the price was a little high for a wrap , until I found out you got a side and a drink included. I chose the Watch Your Waist. It was very tasty and a good size portion. I didn't really taste the Tzatziki sauce. It was "saucy", but I wouldn't say it tasted like Tzatziki. I like that the wrap was toasted - bonus points Clean Eatz . The sides are very limited, just a heads up. I chose the green beans and bacon. I rarely say no to bacon. I'm not sure what kind of bacon it was. There was no grease whatsoever, so I'm wondering if it was turkey bacon. I didn't question; I just ate . I would have liked seasoning in the green beans - they were a little "fresh/raw" tasting. In their defense, I am a garlic, onion, pepper in everything seasoner. I wasn't excited by the drink choices: lemonade, raspberry, or water. I chose the raspberry; it tasted like artificial sweetener - which I don't use. Good ice though - "nugget ice"! The lady behind the counter was very helpful and pleasant!!! Picked up our first meals today! As restaurant owners we seldom have time to sit down for a meal unless it is in our restaurant. And as much as I love our food there are days I just want something different, and if we are busy the last thing we want tondo is put an order in for ourselves! They have become our go to place for lunch after church on Sundays and then we pickup our meal plan order for the week. The meal plan has been a lifesaver. The food was ok. I love that the whole restaurant is healthy options but I felt like the quality was lacking in certain areas. The tomato on the bison burger was bigger than the burger itself and the chicken breast on the chicken panini only covered one side of the sandwich. This place is pretty cool. Im back in the gym and sometimes I have a hard time eating the way I should because I'm out and about and can't get home to cook. I'd seen them on Instagram but had never tried the food. I like that it's really healthy and not the illusion of healthy. So if you're expecting to get a soda with your meal, you won't find it here. I saw someone complaining because they only offer unsweetened tea and water, but I'm glad they only offer that stuff! I got the bison burger ab burger style and veggies. The burger patty was okay, it could've been seasoned more, but I didn't dislike it. I would get it again. I really enjoyed their lime infused water. I'm going to start doing my water that way... I walked into this cafe and the person at the register was new and took about 10 minutes to ring up my order as I sat with a few other patrons waiting. Then the register person called me to the counter and told me the chef said they were closed. The person at the register and the chef started having a loud argument in front of me blaming each other. I asked the register person to please give me a refund but after waiting another 20 minutes and his manager (at home) trying to walk him through the process he still could not figure out how to give me my $30 refund. I then spoke to the Manager on the phone and left my number and he said he would take care of 'it.' Three days later no call. No refund. Business 101. I can go in and choose a few meals that are clearly marked with ingredients, calories, macros and even if it's geared to lose, maintain, or gain. Great, healthy food options in a central location. I've visited Clean Eatz several times and they do not disappoint! The portion size is great, the food is flavorful and they even have their own signature spices. One of my favorite things is their grab and go meal prep option!!! They have coolers lining the wall where you can grab anything from breakfast to dinner and maintain your healthy lifestyle. My only gripe they seem to be out/not have a lot of things. (Sauces for certain wraps etc.)This may be due to them being fairly new and I'm sure they will get it all ironed out but this place is legit. Oh and the bar seats are the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on in my life haha I'd rather sit on the floor.... but they have plenty of great tables!!
