First time at a Clean Juice and I feel like it's the Pilates studio of drink places. Very minimal decor, neutral colors and everything on the menu is the "xxxx one". So I got the Peanut Butter One as there is something about PB in a smoothie that is liquid perfection to me. I got the smallest size with no add ons. Maybe I have been ruined by sweeteners and artificial flavors, maybe it was because I was on the tail end of being stuffy due to allergies but the Peanut Butter One wasn't hitting the way I hoped it would be. Looking at the ingredients, it is very much natural and organic but I really wish that it was sweeter than it was. I am a big fan of Smoothie King and I realize that these may be for different audiences. I want to try Clean Juice one more time but I will look at the menu before going in and plan out a different drink to see if I can find something that works for me Service was good. Okay so I spend a lot of time In Florida in which living there, everywhere offers fresh fruit smoothies and health shots. Now living In Delaware there aren't many places like this. With that being said I saw this place and needed to give it a shot. Upon walking in I was politely greeted and asked if I needed any help figuring out what kind of drink I was looking for. I ended up ordering The Coffee One* and the Elderberry wellness shot*. The coffee one I drank right away and thought the flavor was very nice, but not the best I've ever had. The shot I did like, as I've been getting into them a lot more lately and I do feel I would rather come here for the shots rather then say Whole Foods right across the parking lot. My big down fall with this place is the price point. See I understand on one side because everything is fresh, healthy and made to order but at the same time it just doesn't feel right paying close to 10 dollars for a drink. Alright here's my final thoughts. Customer service? Amazing! Atmosphere? Very nice, stylish, minimalistic Taste? For what I ordered today, I liked it but didn't fall in love with it...I need to try more. Price? Much to high....sadly. All it all it really is a nice place to give a try. Love this place. Discovered it a few months ago by luck. Since then I've done some of the cleanses and ordered salads and breakfasts while I'm there. The staff has been very helpful in assisting me with picking cleanses and in their recommendations. Food is always good. I also recommend their web site for lots of interesting information. I had questions on a cleanse originally, and the owner called me to walk through the process. Local service, backed by national information. Organic, healthful, and tasty. We wanted a good healthy brunch, a fresh juice and stumbled upon this place traveling through...there was only 2 women in front of us, we ordered 2 juices to drink there, and two bottles to go, and Avo toast. It was 50 freaking dollars! Ouch KA Bibble. Good eating costs, I know, but geesh! We waited a LONG ASS TIME for this stuff, like way longer than necessary. I've worked in food service, and worked lunch and dinner rushes, and this was no rush. The girls working were so disorganized it drove me nuts. I wanted to help! My ONE piece of toast however, (did I say ONE? Yes, one, for like 10 bucks) was so freaking delicious. All my impatience went out the window when I bit into it. After making an attempt to inform the store of the situation, the teenagers seemed more interested in snap chat than customer service. And don't try to pay with cash. Counting money isn't their strong suit, my server didn't know the difference between a nickel and a quarter, I would normally laugh but I'm really just sad to think what is ahead for kids that have it done for them on an iPhone. My wife and I have both been here several times and I've found the food and the juices to be generally good, but not always worth the high prices. Today was probably my last visit for quite a while. We were nearby and called to order a couple of juices and when we got there 5 minutes later, the two employees told us the juicer had just broken. Not their fault, but when I asked about similar refreshing juices, they said there was nothing really similar but explained they had cold-pressed juices in the case. Wow! They had the grand opening this past weekend and it was awesome. It was a packed house but the staff did a great job imo of keeping everyone entertained and moving with speed. The product is fantastic and the owners are very nice. The aesthetics felt fresh and cleaner (no pun) than other juice bars I've been to in the city. Drove 15 minutes to get there to find out store was closed during listed business hours. Left a voicemail and no one even bothered to call back.
