I recently moved to this area of the Bronx and this was the closest Clean Rite Center. We went on a Saturday, late afternoon and the place was not too crowded. The center was clean and the laundry staff specialist was very welcoming and helpful. I was in need of a laundry bag for my heavy blankets and she was able to provide ample options. Worst laundromat in the area. Even worse customer service. Made a drop-off at this location and they did not separate my whites from the colors. Every single item in my bag that was white was damaged and had colors bleed into it. I contacted the corporate location and told them what happened and they indicated they were not liable because I did not tell them within 48 hours. I explained to them that me and my wife just had twins and the bag was left unopen for a week for that reason. I have not heard back from them. I would like to say how much I love this laundromat. Since is was built here I come here on the regular. At first I didn't like one of the staff members but she's not bad at all. All the ladies there very responsible, respectful and you drop it off in the day time guaranteed to get it back the same day or next day. Although they have navy machines available for use, the prices are ridiculous and straight robbery. Prices for the washing machines range from $4.29-$10+ and the dryers $0.39 for eight minutes. You can easily spend damn near $15-$20 just for two loads. Unfortunately, the laundry room where I reside at is getting upgraded which is the only reason why I had to come here, but if I had to come in here every week, I would invest in buying my own washer and dryer versus spending all this money on the machines. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. The bathroom is dirty, the machines smell like mold and mildew is in the lining of the machines, to make matters worse this place has the nerve to charge $3 bucks for a new card. But tells you they are going to charge your cc $10 so you can spend $7 extra bucks to top it all off they HAVE THE F'ing balls to charge $15 for large machines. Dramatic jump in prices(over 50%) since the pandemic combined with a steep plunge in promptness of service. They are now charging an arm and a leg for 'same-day' which turns out to be several days later at minimum. I'm looking around for another place to do my laundry. read more

Quick and easy, come in and do your laundry. The machines operate on a card system that you purchase on-site for $1.00 and reload with cash (only). I suggest always going with a $20 bill, you get an extra $2 or $3 bonus when reloading. The machines & interior are clean, the location is well lit at night and plenty of parking if needed. KFC is across the parking lot if you're hungry while waiting but that experience is a separate review! LOL. A great location for 24hr service which I prefer so it's not so busy later at night. They do offer additional drop off service which seems to be quite popular as seen by the number of bags stacked up waiting to be picked up. The staff maintain the place and are constantly cleaning or changing over laundry so don't expect them to chat or be extremely social but they are nice if you have a question. read more

I wish I could put -1 star. I have done drop off service here since last June 2018. I have received damaged clothing here and there but just let it go as I know accidents happen and it was only a piece here and there of something inexpensive. However I dropped off back in SEPTEMBER OF 2018 and got back my load and they had damaged my limited edition velvet sweater. Bleach stains all over the bottom. this time I complained because this wasn't cheap. I was very kind, came in talk to the manager rosenette, she played nice, said it's not problem gave me a form to fill out to be reimbursed, HASNT happened and it's now the end of January 2019. They have been stringing me along since then with lies. She stopped being in communication (text pictures attached below) with me and I even managed to find the regional managers contact info reached out and my texts were left of Seen and sent to voicemail when I called, again SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I've never dealt with this kind of behavior from simply asking for the money back on my sweater YOU damaged. On top of this I'm a loyal drop of customer and I drop off ALOT. I spend about 40$ every time I drop off and that's just for myself. One person. I Always pre pay, never gave them any issues and now you're losing a customer. I went to the BBB about this and I will write this review on every outlet I can to let people know how poorly this place is ran and to PLEASE save yourself the burden and don't drop of. If the BBB doesn't get a response from this sorry company then I will take legal actions. I already looked into options and they will end up paying me a lot more than just my sweater. read more

Well this isnt a cleaner's you can use the drop off service at. I took advantage of their drop off service. Upon reaching home I can to realize half of my clothes were missing. I have spoken with the manager on numerous occasions and was promised a refund for my clothes. I have been waiting for weeks without any solution at all. I have requested to speak with the owner and he refuses to speak with customers. read more

My experience is based on their drop off service. I have dropped off my laundry at this location a few times. However the last 2 times I have dropped off laundry they have been so short staff that they had to keep my laundry for at least 3 days. The final time that I made an attempt to drop off my laundry yesterday (4/21/18) in the afternoon I was told that they would not have my laundry until Wednesday. This is ridiculous. This clean rite has a high turnover because every time I go there is someone new working the counter. Also, whenever I bring them more than 3 bags, they return all my clothes in my three bags plus an additional 2-3 plastic bags. This also become very burdensome. Why do I need so many bags? How am I suppose to get all these bags in my car? I have been dropping off my laundry for many years and this is by far the worst service that I have encountered. If you are not in a rush and want extra bags of laundry use this service. If you are in a rush, this is not the place for you. read more
