When I originally started with them I had no issues with this company. As they were picking my laundry up for some months. However Sara from HamperApp needs to either be released or penalized for illegally taking the liberty to place another order under my name herself after I canceled the order because they were 24 hours late and tried It with a $5 discount on $200 laundry... The next day the laundry is picked up without my notice until I got home and thought It was the other company. Then I got a message from HamperApp. Stating that Sara took the liberty to illegally charge my account for a new order she placed for me after I cancelled. Hard-working people pay full price for over price machines. 1/2 the dryers work. Then you have people using the company detergent/ fabric softener and tye prepaid card to wash and dry their clothes. Every year, they raise the cist if the machines cause the people that work here, giving out free wash and dry services.... read more

I don't usually do laundry in the evening, but I had some appointments during the day. As to not have a pile of dirty clothes in my house, I went to Laundry Works. To my surprise, they had young adults playing in and out the establishment. Sitting in the clothing carts where people have to put their clean clothes. DO NOT allow them to wash your clothes. Almost every time I have my laundry delivered there is an issue. I have recieved random peoples undergarments, t-shirts, and other unmentionables, mixed in with my clothes. It's not just one or two items but usually an ENTIRE LOAD. This is the second time this has happened to me. Not to mention the fact that I sent off a brand new dress to them to get clean. Only wore it once, they sent it back with all kinds of rips and tears. Like seriously? No offense to the delivery man, he's great, but who ever is washing folding and sorting is either over worked or just doesn't care about the quality of the job. Get your laundry card in the back right of the laundromat with your credit card and add a custom amount to your laundry card. Seats are available while you're waiting. Good folding station and plenty of rolling carts, some with hanging racks. $2.80 for the 18lb Washer on Cold (25min) Available Settings: Cold (25min), Warm (25min), Hot (25min), Quick Wash (16min), Delicate (19min) *There are also 30lb and 60lb washers. $0.45 for 8 minutes of Drying Available Settings: High, Medium, Low *There are 2 sizes for dryers. Blessing!!!!! I waited too long to do laundry before having company come over... Didn't have quarters and the bank was closed, needed to do 4+ loads. Found this place on Yelp bc they do laundry cards (but you DO need cash to buy one). Awesome perk: you can "program" your laundry card to match your phone number, so if you leave and can't make it back for the dry cycle, they'll just call you and do it for you! Machines are $7.25/60 lbs, $5.00/30lbs, $3.00/18lbs plus $0.60 extra for soaking/extra rinse cycle. Dryers are 8 min for $0.50-$0.70 (large/xl). It's new so nobody comes here yet and only 3 other people in here on a Saturday (!!!!) means I got 4 washers all at once. Sam, the employee working, was SO NICE and helpful, even said they can do same day wash & fold and gave me a coupon for next time. Honestly, I took a $12 cab 23 blocks up here bc of how desperate I was and it was totally, completely worth it. If you're new to NYC and think laundry is overwhelming, this place will ease your mind. read more

Very clean and civilized. I'm comfortable doing my laundry here instead of those coin laundry places. They have a card that you need to refill accordingly and its such an easy system. Laundry Works delivery service is fantastic. They always deliver on time and they do a great job of washing and folding our clothes, sheets, towels, etc. Unlike other services I've used, the clothes don't come back "fried" or shrunk like they've been left in the dryer for too long. They're nicely folded, smell good, and have never been damaged in any way. Management is also very responsive and accommodating and the delivery person, Deron, is extremely professional and friendly. I've been recommending them to my neighbors and other friends in the neighborhood and look forward to continuing to use their service in the future. read more

I have not used their actually laundry service, this is based on scheduling with them only. Scheduling through Yelp was very easy, I booked a pick up Saturday morning and drop off Sunday morning. On Saturday morning they called very apologetically saying that they did not have a delivery person and they would have to reschedule for Monday morning. I was able to get my laundry done elsewhere so I called them back on Saturday to let them know I wanted to cancel my appointment and they said that's fine. On Monday I got around 10 calls with no voicemail left from different phone numbers and then finally a voicemail from the laundromat saying they were trying to pick up my clothes. I called them back and told them I'd canceled on Saturday and the woman I spoke with tried to argue with me saying that her system still showed my delivery. I told her she needed to speak with her colleague who worked Saturday. I was charged for this on Friday when I booked, I will be contacting Yelp/delivery.com which they partner with for a refund. Update: I am editing my review as the manager Roi sent me a message ASAP after I posted this. Apparently I needed to cancel through delivery.com/Yelp which I was not aware of and which the employee I spoke with on Saturday must not have been aware of. I am in the process of receiving a refund. I appreciate that the manager got back to me so fast with an apology and explanation of how to book with Laundry Works directly next time. I will give them a call and try their service if a laundry emergency happens in the future. read more

I'm so glad I decided to walk the extra 2 blocks. This place is super clean and all of the washers/dryers are new and operational. My clothing came out great. This is the level of quality that we deserve in our neighborhood. Hopefully other places follow suit read more

They always pick up and deliver on time! Sometimes they even call ahead and ask if they can deliver earlier than scheduled, which is usually is more than okay! The delivery men are always super kind. Lost a set of keys in my dirty clothes and they were great about setting them on top of all of the folded laundry upon redelivery. This has got to be the most efficient and professional Laundry service I have ever experienced. I live in the neighborhood and I remember the previous owners wasn't nearly as amazing. I've been here several times and all the attendants are very helpful and knowledgeable of there operations systems. All this time I had thought putting more soap makes my clothes cleaner when really it's about the power of there soon cycle. I've been doing my laundry for years and I've never seen a more powerful spin cycle than the one here. The Manager Roi is also very friendly and welcoming. It would be a mistake to not try your laundry here. There drop off service as well is definitely worth it. There same day service is great also. All in all its a 5 star experience everytime. I've seen people complain about not being able to use their bathroom but come on it's an employee restroom they need there privacy. You will not regret doing your laundry with them!!!!! Beware the white chick who works there! She has a really bad attitude. When I drop off she (nearly) refuses to help me get my laundry out of my cart I use to carry my laundry to their laundromat. I cram my laundry in so I can always use help getting it out of the cart. Typically, I get sighs and indications that she is aggravated when I ask and she'll yank the laundry bag out forcefully, etc. Last time I asked her for help she was counting change. She had the change she had already counted stacked in little piles. When I asked for help she crashed all the little piles as if my interrupting her counting made her have to start counting from the beginning. Her lack of service is astounding, yet consistent. Tonight after picking up she had the same testy tone in her voice as usual. It's reached a point where I don't drop off on the days she works. Now I will avoid picking up on those days too (as soon as I figure out her darn schedule!) Ugh. And this laundromat is literally one and a half blocks from my house. I will start traveling to a laundromat that's a bit farther and stop dropping off at this establishment if necessary. I try to be cheerful and nice, but to no avail. The other men and women working there are generally friendly. It's great if you want to do your own laundry. Very clean and rarely crowded. I use to never enjoy doing my own laundry but I do enjoy doing it there. Maybe I shouldn't even post this. This woman has my home address and apartment number as a result of my dropping off. Laundry Works is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The interior is always clean and the employees are very helpful and friendly. The longer evening hours are great for people with full-time jobs. I've also done drop-off service and was very pleased. I just hope it remains less crowded, as it is not the largest laundromat around. read more

I have been a loyal customer since your 2015 opening and encouraged my fellow tenants to do their laundry here. However, the customer service has taken a huge downgrade recently. On September 28 at approximately 12:20pm, myself and a friend were washing my clothes and asked to use the restroom. The attendant refused stating that "that is never allowed" and the bathroom is where "the detergent is stored". Since this request has never been an issue, I was taken aback. And I am not sure what the attendant meant- perhaps a customer using the restroom was somehow a security threat to the detergent not located in the actual bathroom? Considering each customer's identify is clearly noted on your laundry card, security cameras are well placed and the restroom is steps from the front desk, I found this response offensive and disrespectful. Moveover, when I asked for more information and explained that I had bleach on my hands, the attendant offered a "wet towel". We also overheard the attendant discussing this matter with Roi owner/manager. Since I have had cordial conversations with Roi when this place opened, I asked for his contact information and was told that he did not liked to be contacted. I eventually left my contact information and have yet to be contacted. read more
