We both prayed that the Holy Spirit would guide us and, shortly thereafter, were 'led' to Ward Fireplaces & Stoves. What others said could not be done, Scott assured us it could. We believed him because of his extensive experience (20 years?). He gave us a quote within a day and scheduled for a time to install. He and his incredible crew arrived on time and completed this entire job within FOUR HOURS. We were stunned and very pleased with the result. He successfully salvaged our original marble hearth and also suggested what type of surround to use. The picture shows our completed project. He was taking care of our home long before we purchased it and clearly knows the system inside and out. My husband and I have owned a number of rental properties over the years in various states, and as a result, we have dealt with various HVAC companies, both for service and maintenance, and these guys are the best, hands down. Even though our system is old (they don't make them like they used to ), Scotty has never tried to tell us it's time to consider replacing our system or sell us silly upgrades, something other companies we have worked would have absolutely done (and have done to us in the past). They also don't call me and try to sell me additional services. James Thomas and Scotty have our business for life! Then after arriving for one of our planned layout meetings, we could not see the slab because it was unavailable. After finally having the layout meeting, one part of the backsplash was installed upside down and another part was cut from a different section without notifying us. After so many issues, I shared with them my concerns and they admitted fault and reduced the bill some. I have nothing but issues with the install and measurements…read more I live in Texas and building a home in Ellijay so it was imperative to find a company I could rely on, well MC Granite is NOT the company. The counters I picked were over $80.00 a sq ft. The measurement's were done while I was in Texas and per code which I explain several times via phone to the measurer they sent out that code states 36" countertop to countertop when in an island. He did the measurements and I approved as I trusted them to do the right thing and make sure it was per code. I spoke with Cassandra several times and I was assured the measurements reflected the 36" countertop to countertop. I then approved the measurement from Texas. I traveled up to Ellijay to be there while the install was occurring, I was heartbroken and frankly very disappointed when they did not meet code on 2 sides - the installer left after 1 hour and did not complete the bathrooms nor the kitchen. Three days later I get a call saying a Surcharge was $400.00 to get them to meet code requirements. So now 12K for a very small amount of countertops as they had to take off so much was outrageous. As of today no countertops in 3 bathrooms, and kitchen island. I am exhausted with this situation and I paid them by check, bad idea. They just keep on adding charges on. Now since we had to take off so much countertop on the island I asked to make 4" backsplash - you will never guess what now, MORE MONEY! Never trust their measurements and be there when measurements are completed.I did by phone and guess what MORE MONEY! More money, more money! Yes, I approved the measurements based on their expert. RUN FROM THEM IF YOU ARE OUT OF STATE. Very disappointed, disgusted and plain tee'd off. Overpriced, bad service and at a loss of over $3000.00 on a countertop I paid SO VERY MUCH MONEY FOR!

I usually book online and the rest of the transaction has been seamless, no issues. One of our favorite cabins would be 3 Blind Moose it's roomy,has an outdoor fireplace and a breathtaking view, very relaxing.
