I received a few quotes with varying prices and couldn't decide, therefore I also did a Google search of reviews of the various places to help me make my decision of where to take my vehicle. GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. Use the Project tool to receive quotes, etc, but do extra homework and know exactly how much a service will cost you in exact pricing, considering your travel (gas) expenses, and time when comparing.

I was originally quoted $795 to tint the windows and smoke the front and rear lights. The owner also said he would give me a $50 discount. I paid a $100 deposit and was told the remaining balance would be $650. When I picked up the car, the work was not completed properly. Both front side windows had visible bubbling in the tint. After a lengthy discussion, the owner agreed to redo the side windows and also add the rear light tint, which he said had been left off. When I returned to pick up the car again, I was surprised to find that I was charged extra $200 for the rear light tint, even though I understood it was included in the original quote. On top of that, the owner also took back the original $50 discount he had promised. Part of this is my fault for not getting the complete quote in writing before the work began. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. The quality of the initial work was poor but he did correct the defects, more importantly the pricing changed during the process. Overall, I did not find the business to be trustworthy Which is everything for me.

The location itself isn't in the greatest area and it's pretty congested to park but that doesn't hinder the job they do. It's a bit rundown in terms of looks and care but again, we're not here to review the building aesthetics. I took a random shot with this place as I couldn't get my normal place to reply to me. Had a 9 am appointment and I was out of there in about 30 min. Had my front doors and a windshield bar tinted out. All in all happy with the job. I will say, my car did smell like smoke when I got in initially, which I hate that smell. They must allow smoking in the back Bay Area cause you can tell. Price wasn't terrible either as it was under $150 for my job. Will see how they hold up going forward.

Absolutely terrible workmanship and refuse to stand behind their install defects. I have a 2025…read moreSuburban that needed a windshield removed and installed through warranty. The first windshield was installed high to the roof on the left and shifted as far right as the glass could go. Another replacement was ordered at this point and when that glass was installed the installer damaged the paint all the way around the edge of the glass. They also damaged the interior A-pillar and steering wheel in the process. Now the glass had to be cut out again and reinstalled. The edges of the glass was damaged in multiple locations and the rubber seal around the edge has now been replaced with a foam that is not up to the standard it should be. There was also excess foam sticking out about 1" at the top corners of the glass. This is absolutely unacceptable for a warranty repair whether it is within your spec or not. Now the dealer is ordering another new windshield and hopefully will find someone else to cut out and reinstall the new one. This will be the 4th windshield in my vehicle due to incompetent installers.
