I'm reviewing this in the budget dry cleaners category. I've used Clean'n'Press in the past and they've always been good. They have coupons on the website or in mailings that save you a few dollars. Even without the coupons, they're relatively affordable. The front desk staff seems to be a rotation of nice & adept high school kids. The reason why I'm giving them 5 stars today is because: a) Great service this week that has been backed up by half-a-dozen experiences in the last few years b) I forgot to pick up my shirt for a month and they still had it. Not only that, I learned one of their other locations had things from 2000! I don't plan on forgetting my dry cleaning pickups on a regular basis, but it's nice to know they're not going to throw it out. c) I dropped off a white blouse that I stained with tomato sauce. It came back white. The parking lot can be small - especially around meal time due a nearby Chinese restaurant. Luckily they have three reserved "15 min parking" spots. read more

I brought in several suits to be cleaned. When I picked them up there were two jackets that were said to be not cleaned yet and at another store. I came back a few days later to pick up the jackets only to discover that they have destroyed one of them and had a damage claim waiting for me. I was disappointed, but acknowledged that they were going to cover the loss and accepted it. I filled out the damage claim form and brought it back. A month later I received a check for %75 of the value with a note that because the coat was 4 months old, that is the value they deem appropriate to cover. Why not pay me the amount I payed for the coat 4 months ago? They didn't even refund the money I paid to get the coat cleaned. I also have a pair of pants that I will more than likely never wear because I no longer have the coat that goes with them. I would not recommend using clean 'n' press! read more

Somebody PLEASE open some competition for this place. It should not take 2-3 days (4 if you drop off Friday after work)! Add to that the arrogance of the older woman who doesn't care what the needs are of the customer and this place earns a solid 1 star. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service! The attendants do not know what they are doing. They advertise they have coupons to get you in the store but they tell you that they can't take them because they don't know how to input the coupons in the system. What was worse is that they falsely advertise that most garments are $4.49 but it is up to the attendants desegregation --very subjective!! Terrible job at the cleaning and overall very disappointed with the charge and service you will receive. I asked to speak to a manager Kathy who was very rude and told me that they can't redo a transaction even though she realized that the coupons should be accepted. read more

I know it sounds bizarre, but I have never been happier with the service of a dry cleaning service. Kathy is the best manager and knows customers by first name and even a little about our lives because she actually cares and remembers us. She (as well as her other staff) brighten my day when I just run a quick errand to the cleaners. Lots of coupons for Clean N Press, I see them everywhere. There are even more coupons on the web site. Made the mistake of bringing in my Ugg boots to be cleaned after seeing an ad that they excel at this! My $180 boots came back 5 days late and completely ruined. The stitching is now coming apart, and my gray boots have black and brown smeared stains on them. They literally look like shit. When I complained and asked for a refund - I was told to talk to a manager, who wouldn't be in until next week. The sales girl was unwilling to take my info to have the manager call me and insisted I have to return to the store to speak with a manager. The customer service AND services provided were a complete joke. I will NEVER bring anything here again. read more

My mom brought my expensive wedding dress to get dry cleaned here and paid $200. My dress has elaborate and fragile beading on the structured shoulders and back mesh. My mom went to pick it up the first time and it didn't look like they cleaned it at all - there was dirt still all over the bottom. She asked that they clean the bottom again. When she brought it home we both noticed that the whole dress is dingy where it was only dark at the bottom before. There are snags and tears in the mesh. Rhinestones/beading that we're sewn on are ripped off or tore and are hanging by a thread. The sleeves that had structured rhinestones and beading are flimsy and falling apart with beads missing. I called to complain, leaving a message with the manager to give them a chance to resolve or explain the reason for trashing my $4000 dress and they have not responded. If they weren't comfortable cleaning my dress, they should've told us up front instead of ruining something beautiful and sentimental. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone for any reason. read more

Poor customer service and Kathy, the manager lacks basic problem solving skills! My garment was damaged during cleaning and Kathy asked me to fix it! Yes, you read it right; the manager asked the customer to fix the clothing item that was damaged during 'cleaning'. Of course having an expensive garment ruined is disappointing, but the fact that the manager assumes no responsibility and expects the customer to absorb the cost of what they damaged, is frustrating, unethical and illegal. read more

The worst customer service ever at both Woodbury locations. Twice my clothing has been damaged at the West St Paul plant. Never will return. I will go to another drycleaner & pay more money to have my clothing properly cleaned WITHOUT damaging clothing- that has been shrunk or buttons tore off the clothing. The excuses the manager or owner gives for damaged clothing by their staff is laughable ! read more

DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANERS!!! You have to pre-pay...same experience as others where they wouldn't take your coupon. 'spent $54 to have two items cleaned, nothing was touched! They came back more soiled, more wrinkled, AND a large tear! The manager could not return our money so I asked to speak the the owner. The manager called the owner who never, once apologized, only told me that I was rambling, would return my money and hung up on me!!! read more
