I really felt that my usual doctor wasn't taking me seriously, and I really did NOT want to take all these weird medications with scary side effects. I chose Dr. Dacyshyn based on a combination of the services outlined on her website and a gut feeling :p I've seen her twice now, and she's really great! The first time was an hour-long consultation where I just got to say everything that was bothering me. I really felt like she listened, and she understood my problems really well. She knew I didn't have much money, and was very accommodating for that, keeping her prescriptions to a minimum and letting me know what was essential vs. just good to have. The things she prescribed me work like a charm- I stopped getting sick, have a lot more energy, my depression and anxiety have improved dramatically, and no side effects! I noted on my previous review about the thin walls and the noise. During this session, there was none so i thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, pearl introduced me to cupping. To be honest i am not interested about it at all, when i see pictures of friends who have done it, it seems painful but pearl did a good job for a "beginner" like me. I did not feel overwhelmed. It was not painful even days after. It obviously left marks on my back but i did not mind it, i did not feel anything like as if the marks were not there at all. I already scheduled my next session. She and the acupuncturist will work on Saturdays by appointment only even though the establishment is officially closed. Call well ahead as she is busy. I have not tried any of the other services here but I wouldn't hesitate to. Everyone I have encountered has been very professional and very friendly. I noticed that they sell supplements and various organic products but have yet to buy anything. I also really enjoy the warmth and coziness of this establishment. It is a 2 story house that has been transformed into a business. It has been renovated nicely keeping the old character of the house adding to that coziness.
