This review has been edited to include the resolution & communications from the company so other customers can be aware of the quality of support they will receive. This is an untrustworthy company with aggressive support agents, and does not provide sufficient support when trying to cancelling appointments. My apartments is less than 400 sq feet so I chose the "Studio/less than 500 sq feet" option, but there is a door to the sleeping area and I included the detail on the sleeping area in the notes so the cleaner would not be surprised. The support team updated my appointment to a 1 bedroom for the appointment; I immediately asked to just cancel the appointment. The support team acknowledged my request, but did not cancel the appointment. Instead, over multiple emails of increasing aggression from the agent, they put significant pressure on me to remove this review, without cancelling my appointment. Cleanly charges a fee if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours, the agent offered to waive the fee in return for removing the review. Finally, after 5 hours and many emails exchanges, the agent honored my initial request to cancelled my appointment (I was happy to pay the fee at this point). Communications from the support team: "Please note that if you choose to leave a review regarding this matter, we will have to cancel your appointment and 100% we will apply a cancellation fee. Additionally, we may reach out to Yelp to dispute the review. Alternatively, we can cancel your appointment without any fee, and in return, we kindly ask that you remove your review so we can go our separate ways." "We tried multiple times to please you but instead you're more concerned about being a cyber bully and writing a false review online than communicating with the company and coming up with an amicable resolution. You can leave your review and update it 100 more times. That is fine with us as we will defend our position and make sure it is removed or at the very least respond letting readers know YOU MADE THE MISTAKE of booking the wrong package not us and all we were doing was updating to the accurate information. You have been charged a cancellation fee as per our policy which you know about. We were willing to work with you and resolve this small setback but you've decided to blow things way out of proportion. We used Cleany for a one-time deep clean of a 2-bedroom apartment, preparing for an exchange of roommate move in. We were assigned Jenny. She was incredible. Such a hard-worker and diligent cleaner. She spent so much time ensuring that our kitchen was extremely cleaned. The microwave and stovetop were very dirty, almost 2 years of grime and use. But she ensured every nook and cranny was cleaned, even lifting the burner covers to clean underneath. She also was very thorough with the fridge. Not a single speck of food left. I would recommend Jenny for any apartment cleaning job. Jenny also made sure to walk through the apartment very thoroughly, checking items like the blinds, walls, behind the couch, and around toilet off as we went. Cleany was also very responsive; we'd send an email and get a response back within the hour, sometimes within minutes. Elizabeth did an amazing deep clean of my one bedroom apartment in just a few hours. I wanted to make sure my place was spotless before I went out of town and had a friend stay over. I'm so glad I used Cleany. This was my second time using Cleany and it was even better than the first, which was also great (and very Covid-safe). I would definitely request Elizabeth again. She was so nice and professional. The cleaner mostly spoke Spanish and I speak mostly English, and we still managed to communicate well. I've used other cleaning services and this was definitely my best and favorite experience. I mostly left Elizabeth alone in my home and worked remotely from a nearby cafe while she worked. I brought her an iced coffee and donut because in addition to a tip, she deserved all the treats for the awesome work she did.
