This is a review about the process of being a new patient trying to get an appointment to see a doctor. I left a message and got a call back regarding my request for an appt. The woman said that because I was a new patient, I would have to wait until SEPTEMBER (6 months away) for an appointment! On top of that, I could not make an appointment with Dr. Camouse - as she was apparently not taking new patients. I initially made an appointment and was told it would be with PA Nguyen - who apparently is not too popular reading the reviews. I don't want to deal with someone that gives the impression of not really caring. So, I've thought about it and I think I'll just cancel my appointment and see if I can find an office that is welcoming to new patients. read more

Sad to say the experience we had with this office was very bad. The physician assistant Summer Liew Nguyen has really bad bed side manners. She was very rude and unprofessional with my 16-year-old. Her knowledge of skin care was pretty much a quackery of negativity. Don't take your children to this place or at least never schedule anything with the PA Summer Liew Nguyen. My poor child definitely left there feeling worse about the acne scars on her skin. read more

Very clean modern facility. Great PA and Surgeons / Doctors; however communication is somewhat lacking IMHO when dealing with after visit phone service/ communication. I have had (3) three successful MOHS / excisions performed there. When using the cream on my face and neck communication was somewhat difficult to get a telephonic response from the treating doctor / PA. BE ADVISED: There is a 3.5% fee if you use a card to pay for a co-pay; somewhat sketchy. Never had that happen at a Well Known BC/BS PPO provider. read more

My father's PCP referred this clinic to him to get his cyst removed. He has not had the procedure done yet so the review is not for the doctors. This review is solely for the scheduling here at this clinic. The girl that handles the incoming calls & creating new appointments is difficult to work with. She doesn't explain things clearly and is tough to understand. I had her on speaker today & even my husband was confused lol. This clinic is also difficult to get ahold of. Out of the 6 times I called, they only picked up the phone once. The other 5 times I had to leave voicemails for them to return my call. Back to the girl, she said she would call me back within 10 minutes but she never did. Welp, guess I have to carve out some time tomorrow in hopes to finalize making the appt for my father. read more

Dr. Ke has always conveyed a reassuring calmness in all three of my procedures, as I spent too much time in the sun. I would never go to anyone else to take care of my skin conditions. I saw Dr. MacDougall since 2005, and he was/is a MIRACLE worker! I don't need to go into details, former patients know exactly what I'm talking about. I went to the new clinic; it's definitely not Dr. MacDougall's office. I was in an out, and that was that. Clearly not the same experience as Dr. MacDougall's office. I trusted him. He never forced any type of treatment on me, always explained everything in detail, walked in with a huge smile and was just so sweet and so nice...I miss him terribly. All that to say, I will not return to this clinic and will hopefully find Dr. MacDougall's doppelganger. read more

The worst experience I had! This is why you need to read the reviews and trust the number of stars when it comes to a doctor's office. Yes, I was desperate & panicked, because my lip looked like a lip filler gone wrong! Background: I had a pimple growing underneath my lower lip (on the skin) since around the week of 6/9/25. For unknown reasons, my lower lip was swollen on Friday, 6/20/25. I went to urgent care on Saturday, 6/21/25, and the PA confirmed it was a pimple because it had one whitehead and was not on the lip. The PA popped the pimple and prescribed a Rocephin injection, Bactrim S, and Mupirocin ointment. He also said that if the swelling didn't subside, I might need lip incisions to remove the discharge. Fast forward, I called Clear Dermatologist on Monday, 6/23/25, and got an appointment with Summer Nguyen, PA, on Tuesday, 6/24/25, at 4 pm. Summer evaluated my lip and told me that it was hard to tell because it was a hard bump. I asked if it was a cyst, and she said no. I asked if it was a tumor, and she said "possibly" but it was hard to tell. She did some bacterial swabs to check the type of bacteria. She wanted me to come again on Wednesday, 6/25, at 10 am for the doctor (aka her supervisor) to evaluate. On Wednesday, 6/25/25, I went to the office and told her that my bump was now more centralized and somewhat rounder in one area, my lips were less chapped/dry, the pimple had subsided/dried out, and there was a more apparent whiter surface on the lips. She said that it looked better, and the bump was somewhat softer. However, she still couldn't evaluate whether it was inflammation or a cyst. Hence, she needed the doctor to evaluate. At 10:20 am, she told me that the doctor was sick and unable to evaluate. So I asked if the doctor could spare even just one minute, and she said that the doctor couldn't even walk properly and would go home. Odd - she can come to work but feel sick and can't walk properly; shouldn't you stay at home and call out sick in the first place? She also added that it was only her and the doctor (Dr. Camouse) in the office that day. She wanted me to come back to the office after her vacation, and the earliest appointment date was July 9th! Can you imagine how infuriated I was? This is just a bump as of now. If this were a cancer, could you imagine someone from the doctor's office telling you that they would check in two weeks after the PA's vacation? First of all, if you go to the website, there are five doctors listed. How on earth would there be just one doctor on those two days? Second, how are you skilled at "procedures such as cryosurgery, biopsies, simple excisions, lasers, and Botox" but can't tell whether the bump is due to inflammation or a cyst? Hard and red bump - you don't know. Soft-but-slightly hard bump with a more pronounced shape and signs - you still don't know. Seriously? Third, I don't need a physician assistant to be physically present when you can't even diagnose the issue. For her to say the earliest appointment is on July 9th after her vacation is already a red flag. Get one of the five doctors to evaluate and not you. A few things to note here: 1. They charge a 3% surcharge for any credit card payment, including Visa. Frankly, this is the first doctor's office I have ever seen with this type of sketchy payment fee. Didn't take pictures but they also prefer Zelle. 2. Be familiar with the physician-patient arbitration agreement. Article 1 says, "Both parties to this contract, by entering into it, are giving up their constitutional rights to have any such dispute decided in a court of law before a jury and instead are accepting the use of arbitration." The contract also says, "By signing this contract, you are agreeing to have any issue of medical malpractice decided by neutral arbitration, and you are giving up your right to a jury or court trial." In layman's terms, you can't sue them and take them to court if they do anything wrong. Optional to sign but do your research before signing! Based on my research, the doctors are good, especially Dr. Ardeshir Edward Nadimi. If you must make an appointment, please schedule it with the doctor, not the physician assistant. Luckily, I managed to schedule an appointment with A DOCTOR in another dermatology office for the following day. Now I am just waiting for them to charge my insurance for the bacterial swap that they can't do anything because Summer is summering. read more

I did not see any of these reviews before I brought my 3 year old son to this office. Here is our expierince: Calling in: This lost a star for me, as it was very hard to get through anytime I called. I also requested information before our appointment, and it came down to the wire so I was nervous about the appointment itself. Front office staff: They were so great with my energetic boy. He was running around, and instead of getting mad, they were smiling and warm about it. Nurses: I apoligize and don't remember her name, but she was just the sweetest. Again, I am very picky with how my son is handled, and not one frown, or negative vibes. SHe was very gentle with him. Dr. Kim: I can't even being to explain my gratitude. We had an incident before the appointment, and he hurt his arm(i tried to wipe his boogies). She took time, and actually tried to look at his arm, and offer her suggestions. It really made me feel so comfortable and secure with my son in her hands. SHe then looked at the actual issue we were having. She answered ALL, like literally ALL of our questions. She was gentle, kind and did not make us feel rushed in the slightest. Overall: Although the calling in was tough, when I spoke to anyone there I was more than impressed with their level of professionalism, and kindness. I was ecstatic after finding out, that they accepted a pediatric case so I didnt have to make the long trek to DTLA. I was extremely happy with our experience the entire time there. read more

I love this office. The Drs are wonderful.Professional and personable at the same time. Dr Camouse has seen me twice in the last week for a terrible fall I had walking. Leg had the worst ever road rash imaginable. She got us in quickly. Gave us great instructions for keeping it moist and free of infection. This review is specifically for Dr. Brown! Although appointments seem to have to happen somewhat quickly; that seems to be an overarching theme and I believe this has 0% to do with her. She really addresses all of my concerns in full and I feel that I can truly ask her anything (I have a few varying skin issues at the moment, so I bring in a list and we go down said list together). She provides educated answers and accompanying information for treatments, and her approach is fantastic! Her demeanor is also so cheerful and genuine, which always helps when you have a face full of painful acne, lol We're both still working to find the right cure for my acne, but I feel so confident that she's approaching it the right way -- making tweaks where needed without scrapping my entire routine. I've only seen her twice now (every 6wks) and although there's definitely a journey ahead, I already feel so much more in control of my acne and the symptoms have definitely lessened; she's fantastic.
