Boulder City is fortunate to have world class masseuse Sean Cook, whose extraordinary massages I…read morehave been enjoying for 12+ years. Sean gives the most amazing massage I have ever experienced, bar none. In fact you will be hard-pressed to find a spa, resort or luxury hotel offering services even remotely comparable. He is that good, really!! Sean customizes every massage to your body's own personal aches and needs. If you've been painting, raking leaves, weekend warrioring or cupboard cleaning, you only need let him know and he will immediately and efficiently get to work on the root source of every discomfort. Sean is extremely knowledgable in all facets of the musculoskeletal system. He is well versed in therapeutic, deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, athletic and restorative massage to name a few. Sean skillfully blends his own custom massage oils utilizing high quality, all natural pain relieving, relaxation and muscle stimulation oils. They all smell pretty terrific, too. Sean employs trigger release points, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, cranial massage and more. I have seen him both pre- and post-op following multiple surgeries, and ongoing for myriad athletic pains and general discomforts; he is truly remarkable. In addition to all this greatness, Sean Cook happens to be one of the kindest, most compassionate and intelligent individuals you will ever meet. Whether you're new to massage or a regular, I highly, enthusiastically and thoroughly recommend Sean Cook at Healing Hands Therapeutic Massage.

First and last time here. I wasn't going to write a review, but the audacity of the lady berating…read moreme for my initial tip bothered me enough to write this. First off- I specifically requested for a hard massage both in email and paper form that I filled out while there. The lady that brought me into the massage room wasn't the same lady that massaged me. Since we went over the forms and type of massage. It was a noticeably older, very thin lady, who I had a feeling wasn't going to be able to massage me hard enough. Sure enough, it wasn't. And definitely not even licensed quality in massage techniques, by what I got. Which was at most a 5 pressure out of 10. I request 8-10. Massage was mainly pressing and wiping. She asked once if I was ok, and I replied "Yes, and can you massage harder, if possible please". Knowing she was older and tried her best, I remained polite the entire massage. Even though she never asked me again, Secondly- Since the place is next to an animal grooming business. I kept hearing dogs barking, echoing through-out the massage. First time I ever experienced this in the US, in my 30+ years. There are sound proofing you can invest in to mitigate this, in a business setting. My masseuse apologized for the noise during my massage. And lastly- As stated earlier, the audacity of the initial Middle aged woman, who processed me in and out on payment. They both were nice to me, but the minute I said the tip amount which was $10 out of an $80 total, she gasped in negative disbelief out loud, in front of my masseuse. And scowled "20% of 80 is $16". I played it off to my math error, and gave her the 20% as to not have my masseuse feel bad. But that was a very unprofessional and entitled transaction, given my already negative experience. Would anyone else have tipped 20% given this experience? I went home having to lacrosse ball my own back to get the knots out after paying $100. Again, to be nice, I wasn't going to write this review. But now I feel it is justified given that type of treatment. I won't even bother trying this place with a difference masseuse now, and I should have known by all the available slots open during that day, that the quality of the massage would be questionable.

I purchased a block of treatments and by the last treatment the nagging pain finally began to break up and dissipate. What a relief. After months of agonizing pain and…read moreneck traction along with Chiropractic adjustments at Synergy Chiropractic with Dr. Alexis Noggle my only option was to have my discs replaced in my neck. I had my procedure done on March 9, 2020, just when the Chinese COVID-19 pandemic hit and shut down everything including the physical therapist I was suppose to go to after my surgery. I was not able to get into the physical therapist until the end of August 2020. After 6-weeks if physical therapy which only mildly help any of my pain and movement. After my skydiving incident I had a huge knot (the size of a golf ball), on the front left side of my neck that was rediating a ton of pain down my neck into my arms and fingers. This pain and knot was in my neck and arms for almost 16 months. Even after the surgery the knot and pain remained. When I asked my surgeon about it all he could say was I needed to go to physical therapy to deal with it. He said it had nothing to do with my discs or surgery. After 6-weeks of physical therapy and no improvement with the knot or the massive pain, I decided to go back to Dr. Alexis Noggle at Synergy Chiropractic and ask her opinion. I very much respect Dr. Noggle's advice as she was the one who suggested I have a MRI done which was how I was able to find the herniated disc in the first place, which the 3 doctors I seen before her missed, Dr. Noggle suggested I make an appointment with Julie Jaques, LMT at The Purrfect Touch Massage. So happens that Dr. Alexis Noggle and Julie Jaques, LMT share the same office at 601 Whitney Ranch, Suite C-12, Henderson, Nevada, 89014. After my very first deep tissue massage appointment Julie, she work the knot in my neck and the massive pain I endured was definitely worth the benefit. After just 2 sessions Julie was able to break down and get rid of the massive knot I had in my neck for over 16 months. After the 2nd session my radiating pain in my neck and arms was gone. Now after my 4th session, she is working all of the other very tense muscles throughout my entire body and I haven't felt this good in over 20 years. All I can say is Dr. Alexis Noggle and Julie Jaques, LMT have saved my life. I can now look forward to my retirement in a lot less pain and suffering which I was expecting to deal with the rest of my life. After doing construction and landscaping work for over the last 40 years in Las Vegas, I was not looking forward to my golden years living in massive pain and suffering. Thank You both from the bottom of my heart. Once again you have saved my life.

My girlfriend was kind enough to book and prepay for a 90-minute deep tissue massage for me, and decided to book one for herself at the same time. The first 45 minutes were spot on. The original masseuse found the knots in my back, neck, shoulders, and left hip and went straight to work. But midway through the session, someone else entered the room and took over without warning. First off, her hands were freezing. Second, she was completely worthless--zero pressure, no deep tissue work at all, just loads of oil and light rubbing. She "worked" on my right leg, but did absolutely nothing to address the muscle tension. By the end of the session, I was drenched in oil and literally walking with a limp because my left leg had been properly massaged by the first person, but my right leg received zero actual treatment. To make matters worse, when my girlfriend (who had the same masseuse for her entire session) approached the manager about why my therapist was switched, the manager's excuse was: "Oh, because it was her turn." No apology whatsoever. The manager just casually said, "When he comes back, he can request the full session be with the original masseuse." There will not be a next time. Terrible customer service, zero care for a client in pain, and completely unprofessional management. I would never recommend Thai Spa on Eastern Ave.

He'll feel for the tension, then he'll work on that area with progressive pressure, then he'll ease up, go to another spot, then come back to the tense area. He doesn't follow a robotic pattern in sequential way. He intuitively feels for tension, and works on the areas that need it the most. This is my most favorite kind of masseuse. He's very professional, and as a woman, I felt very comfortable the whole time. I felt like a million dollars when I left, just so relaxed.
