We are fairly new homeowners, and having grown up in the Midwest, we didn't realize the necessity of moss treatments until we heard dripping in our chimney from the moss and pine needles on our roof! We arranged for a roof cleaning, moss treatment, and gutter cleaning about a month out. Much to my surprise, we got a call 2 weeks later, saying we could have our work done the following day, instead. Hooray! The work was done quickly, quietly, and expertly. Highly recommend this company. I Initially hired them to wash my windows inside and out after a full remodel . I have a lot of windows and they were covered in construction dirty . They did a fantastic job, I couldn't have been more pleased. A couple months later my gutters overflowed during one of the many rain storms we had in the fall of 2020 and flooded my basement. Doing a quick Google search revealed that Clear Skies also clean gutters so I gave them a call. I scheduled an appointment after telling them what had happened for their first opening a week or so later. Later that evening someone I knew to be either a manager or owner called back and said due to the circumstance he would personally be out the next day . The gutter cleaning service was as impressive as the window washing and the customer service is above and beyond. I have since had them install screens in my gutters and have them coming out bi annually to clean the gutters. They even went above and beyond to install a pigeon-deterrent plastic owl on the roof while they were up there cleaning and charged only a very small fee for the installation. I was hopeful about Clear Skies and reading all their reviews but they did not honor their original quote provided. We asked for our windows - interior/exterior/tracks to be cleaned - and while on site they stated that their quote was for "external tracks" and that to do the internal tracks it would be an additional $148. The person on the phone tried to blame it on me and saying their interpretation was based on my ambiguous ask...but then they should have confirmed the scope of work before providing a quote. I do not recommend them, as they were dishonest and lacked good customer service. read more

DaVinci just left and I couldn't be happier with service provided. He was very personable and worked his tail off today! The scheduling process was easy and the rates are extremely reasonable. They also have options for a couple levels of cleaning, so you aren't paying a set rate if you just want the basic service and you can decide if you want to pay for extra cleaning. Low pressure/no pressure sales approach on the upsell. They clean without pressure washing, saving wear and tear on your roof. Afterwards DaVinci cleaned up and you couldn't even tell they had been there (ok...the deck may have actually been cleaner after he was finished). Overall they did a great job and I am extremely pleased with the services rendered. I will definitely call them again next time I need my roof cleaned. Could not give a stronger recommendation. I found these guys using Yelp and was initially impressed by their reviews so I gave it a shot. First off, I was impressed by the fact that I never actually had to talk to a person to get a quote, schedule the service, and have my roof cleaned. Some people might like talking through all those things and I'm sure they do that if you like but for me, busy at work, I was happy to trust the reviews and proceed through email. I liked the fact that they don't pressure wash with the roof cleaning. My neighbor ended up asking who did my roof because she was impressed watching the two guys scrub my roof all afternoon and put down the moss treatment. Getting a quote was a snap, and we got a detailed and accurate estimate after entering the requested services and a description of our house (and it's multi-leveled roofs overhung by tree branches) online. Scheduling was easy; we met the crew at home, as we had also requested dryer vent cleaning, which they finished quickly, and then left for work as they literally hit the roof. We came home to moss-free tiles, clear skylights, and clean gutters and downspouts...and the moss and leaf debris was all gone with no mess left behind, and an emailed invoice that even came in slightly less than the estimate quote. I have a large house with walls of windows and a very convoluted roof structure, as well as an aggregate pad in the front and tiles for our landscaping. I had the "full monty" for window washing, skylight washing, slider cracks and crevices, "soft wash" (essentially a pressure wash at low pressure) of my exterior, cleaning of my aggegate pad in front and moss removal from the roof and walkways (extensive). I also had my gutters and drains cleaned/checked. Everything they did came out GREAT and they were extremely careful and respectful of our home (both interior and exterior.) I have waited 2 months to do the review as I wanted to make sure that the moss removal on the roof proceeded as they indicated (since it requires subsequent rains to become effective in heavier areas.) They also came in a tad below their estimate (which is the bonus plan.) You cannot do better and the only thing that might cause someone to have less than a 5 star feeling is that the back and forth communications for the estimate and establishing work dates/times is not as instantaneous as some might like.. but TRUST them. They WILL respond and they WILL get a GREAT job done for you. read more

I hired Clear Skies Cleaning based on the reviews on Yelp. They did not disappoint. Getting a quote was simple using their online form and uploading a photo of my house. They sent me a detailed quote and confirmed the appointment after I accepted the quote. I came home to meet the guys during my lunch hour but left. When I got home after work, I saw they did a great job scraping the moss off my comp roof. I would say the buildup was light in some areas, but heavy in others. They also cleaned the gutters and 2 skylights. I was told by my kids that the scraped moss completely covered the back deck. They did a thorough job cleaning up the area. I payed online the following day. These days it's surprising when a company does not request payment after the job by the cleaning crew. I will definitely hire them in the future. I contacted Clear Skies online for an estimate on gutter and roof cleaning. They got back to me so quickly! The bid was great and so was the information provided of what they do...and why! I hired them and they contacted me to let me know they were scheduled out for about 2 weeks. They were so pleasant about it. I still hired them. Then....they had an opening and came early!!! What a great surprise! When I got home, not only were my roof and gutters clean - so was my driveway!!! What?! Yes, they cleared my driveway. Please note that this review is on the estimation process only. I cannot give a review on the services this company provides, because quite frankly, they never gave me a quote. I emailed them with my interest in an estimate. I received a phone call for more information and while on the phone, there was a misunderstanding. When asking for my address to get a quote, I had asked if I needed to be there, as I was also asking about the windows being cleaned (both inside and outside.) Tim then began to explain that he would come out and I would need to let him in and that payment would be needed at the day. The miscommunication was I was asking about how the estimate would take place for the indoor window cleaning and Tim thought I was agreeing to him providing services for which I did not even have an estimate for. Now, he explained that it is not cost effective to drive out to give me an estimate and that he will use google satellite to get an idea of the cost. I understand that, as I work for a law firm and we are in high demand and no longer give free consultations for services. But, I was not asking that he come out to give me a free estimate, I was just unsure about how the process for estimating the inside of the windows were to be cleaned. He continued about the cost ineffectiveness about coming out to give me an estimate. I understood and just mentioned how I would like to know how accurate the estimate will be to the final cost of services. He did mention that he had been in this business for quite some time (his reviews for the work done are stellar, which is why I contacted him) but the conversation, which should have only lasted a few minutes, lasted much longer, with many things being repeated. The conversation ended with a promise to give me a quote for the services I requested, but I did not receive a phone call or an email since that long winded, poorly communicated phone conversation. The process was painful enough that I spent the time to write about it, since I cannot review anything else. I wish I could say the service was great, I just don't know. read more

We had Clear Skies clean our roof and gutters. There was some scheduling issue initially but Clear Skies was able to quickly reschedule us for the cleaning service. The technician arrived on time and finished the job in about 2 hours as expected. He asked us if we wanted to install screens between the gutters and the downspouts to prevent clogged downspouts in the future. We said yes and he was able to take care of that while he was finishing up the cleaning work. We received the electronic invoice on the same day after the work was done. The invoice had some errors in the first place due to our initial scheduling issue which might have caused some confusion in their billing system. We responded to the owner and asked him to send us the updated invoice. He responded very promptly and got everything straightened out. We then paid the invoice online. Overall the process was pretty smooth. A couple of days later, as it was raining pretty hard we noticed that one of the elbows that connected the gutter and the downspout was loosen. So the rain was dripping and sprinkling from that loosen part instead of flowing down the downspout. We thought that was probably caused by the recent gutter cleaning work, so we contacted Clear Skies and asked if they could send their technician back and fix the problem. The next day their crew came back and fixed that problem without extra charges. They were very friendly and apologized for causing any inconvenience. This was our first experience using Clear Skies. We think they offer great customer services and we will absolutely choose them again in the future! read more
