Very disappointing. I ordered $150 worth of merchandise that turned out to be the wrong size. Upon requesting a return authorization, the customer service agent John indicated that he needed my banking info to process the return. I don't freely give out that information and didn't see that it was necessary, since I paid with a credit card. He proceeded to argue with me for a few minutes and then hung up on me. Ordered a few times, and each time some envelopes were not as ordered. The first time I ordered and some envelopes were missing the seal, I just brushed it off. The next order, more were missing the glue to seal the envelope and also missing the clear plastic window display. Left ghosted after contacting the company multiple times. I have used Clearbags for several years and while their product is awesome and they have great selection their prices are starting to get a bit high. Shipping is generally pretty expensive but seems to have come down a bit. It's hard to find alternate suppliers for some of this stuff and I feel like they're starting to know it. For now I have no choice but to use them. If I can find a comparable replacement at a better price I would use it. read more

I have used this company for years and have always been very happy. It has been a while since I ordered and I am so mad that I can't remember her name... I think it was Felina? Anyway she was sooo helpful and very patient. I have a greeting card line and have been writing lately rather than crafting but my daughter recently got me in the mood because her Etsy.com shop has been so busy! So I totally got into creating a completely new line and realized that I was low on the crystal plastic card enclosures and poor Felina was SO NICE and followed me around their web site as I had her on the phone and she was (or seemed to be) happy to do it! I just read the only other reveiw and know that Yelp is usually for two things... when we really want to compliement someone or when we want to vent. I understand that it is annoying to not have the sticky part of the enclosure sticky... but when that has happened in the past, it has been my fault. I live in an area where there is extreme temperature changes and have messed up a whole box by not storing them properly and not using them right away. I remember finding a pack of them in the garage and thinking Yaaay... only to find that they all were not sticking. I never thought of complaining because it was just one package and they were about a year old. But the ones I stored indoors were fine so I used them. Anyway, the customer service has always been friendly... but then I have not tried to return anything. THAT usually is a good indication of how good customer service is. So in honor of the last reveiw, I will reserve one star making it four rather than five....If I ever have to return something... I will then decide about the fifth star! OMG! I placed an order on Wednesday and got it on Saturday. What service!! I got emailed the order confirmation the same day, the ship confirmation the next day with the tracking number, and voila, it's here in 3 days with Priority mail, even crossing the Pacific. For any artists out there that sell prints at shows / conventions, I highly recommend ClearBags for your plastic sleeves and cardboard backs. Not only are their products affordable but their customer support is phenomenal. I placed an order and needed my products in the next three days and chose Overnight Air shipping. However, ClearBags gave me a call to clarify and reassure me that since I was also located in California, Ground-Shipping would get to me the next day. So they cancelled my Overnight Air shipping and charged me for Ground-Shipping, saving me a whopping 50% on my whole order. **Also for example, if you have 8" x 10" prints, be sure to buy sleeves that are slightly bigger (8" 1 /4 x 10" 1/4) so your print actually fits in the sleeve read more

Update on my previous review: I recently got contacted "for the first time" by the ClearBags General Manager (July, 2014) since my last and final purchase (September, 2012). At this point I was actually shocked that someone even remembered my terrible experience with the company, and working on repairing the damages that happened almost 2 years ago. The GM was very attentive, and willing to resolve this issue. He made sure the refund check issued for that order, and followed up with calls, and emails. I no longer have needs for the Gusset Bags at the present. However, I would try their products again due to the current GM's overall positive attention. I did quite of bit of transactions with the ClearBags. It's sad to see that some employees can ruin the entire business relationship in matter of hours; and others can work hard, follow up, and save the same business. I think ClearBags is in the right direction. Current GM is really working on repairing the reputation of this company. CLEARBAGS November 1, 2017 As California residents, we make every attempt at buying from California based companies, considering the mass exodus of business from our state (thanks to our wonderful "socialist" party). Therefore, we purchased a large quantity of 16"x16", 3 mil, resealable slider (closure) bags. The sliders were extremely flimsy requiring a delicate, careful touch to avoid the slider dislodging from the slider tracks. Regardless, the sliders on a large portion (estimated 30-40%) of the bags still came off even with extremely careful handling. Nonetheless, as we were nearing the end of that batch of 16x16-inch bags, we were willing to give Clear Bags another chance. We emailed Clear Bags, twice, inquiring whether they carried bags with heavier duty sliders. Not one answer. Being forthright, at the risk of sounding blunt, I very low tolerance for poor or no communications from vendors. Again, the inferior quality like that of our initial order by itself would normally be enough for us to seek another vender. When Clear Bags ignored our inquiry the first time, for most vendors that also would be sufficient motivation to choose another vendor. However, the poor quality of the bags (defective, what we view as defective, bag closures defeat the purpose of purchasing what should be an efficient feature, the slider), poor and unprofessional vendor communication (or lack thereof actually) finally made us choose another vendor, Uline. Uline's prices are slightly higher ($0.38/bag - ClearBags, $0.57/bag - Uline) but their support before a sale and after are exceptional, the quality of the bags, exceptional (Uline also shipped us ample samples miraculously in under 2 business days). Bottom line: the real reason for choosing Uline was Uline's professional, outstanding communication, first, and the high quality of the bags, second. Fyi (for Clear Bag management's edification), vendors replying to negative forum comments seems to be an increasing trend (over the past 10-12 years) when they neglected, overlooked, etc. responding to customers' inquiries in the first place. Hi there, I am a young entrepreneur from Montreal, Canada (* I apologize for any mistakes, I am francophone). I ordered from ClearBags on July 24, which my order was supposed to arrive on August 3. Few minutes after I paid my order + the shipping fees on the website, I received an e-mail mentioning this "We wanted to make you aware that your total does not include duties, taxes and brokerage fees", which I had no idea of this before I processed my first paiement. Two weeks after this, I hadn't received my order. On August 12, I contacted an agent from the company to talk about the situation. The agent, which was honestly super friendly, told me that my representative would call me during the day to solve the problem. But that never happened. Two days after, I received a call from ClearBags, which I couldn't respond to it because I was at work (I am a part-time lifeguard so I can't have my cellphone with me). The person from ClearBags let me a voicemail saying that "because I didn't responded to my cellphone, they sent my order back to United States, and that if I really wanted my order, I would have to pay again the shipping fees". So because I missed one call, they took back my order, which I was waiting for it since already 3 weeks and I had to pay more money to receive it. I told politely ClearBags that I wanted a refund. They told me they would refund my order only, but not the shipping fees and not the border costs... And also, I never finally got refunded, which convinced me to write this review. High quality bags and received great customer service. Picked up in store because I'm local. The 5x7 bags were perfect for storing photos.

I desperately needed some bags of the perfect size to help a cover a child's cast for a broken arm when in the shower. And figured I could use any left over bags for other projects. Didn't deliver / ship on time. Read all their FAQs on shipping and all their delivery promises. Paid extra for a little quicker shipping. THEY DID NOT SHIP WITHIN 1 Business Day (as 98% of orders do per their claims). THEY DID NOT SHIP WITHIN 2 Business Days (which is promised for even Economy shipping options). Basically the day they were supposed to deliver was the day they finally packed the item. So they took an additional 3 and Half days to get around to an in-stock item then I will have to wait longer for it in transit. Called their customer service to politely explain my dissatisfaction and they say it's all on their website how things aren't guaranteed. Quite the opposite madam, you make more promises than your mouth or hands can deliver. First and Last order with these guys. read more

I spent a decent amount of money on my first order. When I received it, some of the items shipped were incorrect. They were correct on the invoice & Packing Slip, but not what was in the box. I have contacted ClearBags multiple times via e-mail and phone in order to clear this up and get the correct product sent and not a peep from them. I am a first time customer and if this is they way they are going to treat me, they just missed out. I am taking my business elsewhere. Sorry ClearBags, my next order was going to be BIG! If you don't get back to me and my order was only a few hundred dollars, how can I trust you with a larger order. So, somehow ClearBags found that I didn't have that great of an experience with them and called yesterday to let me know my order was completely refunded. Frankly, I was shocked, and I'm not sure what to say. "Do good to them that hate you" I guess. They have certainly begun to win me back over. I wish I hadn't made a big deal out of it, as it is very true that they do professional, courteous, and honest work. Customer Service can be either excellent or horrible. The first time I called to get some help with clear bags, the representative walked me through the differences and basically provided excellent customer service which I would've given them a 5 star rating. However, I had to take some time to finalize my order and stated that I would call back. When I did, a different representative provided assistance. She was incredibly rude, I didn't even want to place my order anymore. For this reason, I brought the rating down to 2 stars. I hope I don't have to speak to her ever again if I plan to place anymore orders with clear bags. read more
