Hello Las Vegas Yelpers! I do love this store! I can't help myself. I can't seem to spend less than an hour when I go. There is so much to see. I honestly don't go very often. I do go at the beginning of the school year mostly. I am changing up my class theme this year so I had a few big decisions to make, lol. So fun, though. They have so many new themes, back grounds and bulletin board boarders. Cute! Cute! Cute! When I walk in I am always immediately greeted. There is always someone there that offers to help find what you're looking for. It was helpful this time, because they moved things around. The staff are awesome! Tip#1: sign up for their rewards club and get emails or text messages. They will let you know if you have cash to spend or if you have a coupon to use. Tip#2: Use your coupons and visit the clearance and discounted sections in the way back of the store. Parking is easy. The lot is huge! This is a great store. I recommend. Check it out! read more

The only teacher supply store of its kind solely dedicated to educational purposes. I was able to find a plastic scientific measurement set for work. Please note I would say it's more geared towards younger students not college setting. However, you will find excellent items for bulletin boards, office communication/announcements and kids learning/organizing items. Think bins and cubbies for toy and classrooms. Lots of boards. Better Than Paper for multi use boards that won't warp, washable and is reusable. Lots of great colors and patterns. I spent hours looking on Amazon, but you gotta support local when you can and it helps you can actually see the products and how they look in real life. The staff is fantastic. Carin was so helpful in explaining to me the items they have to make my Mental Health Awareness board. Her experience and patience allowed me to pick the right products to make my vision happen. The store is very organized and even has toys for sensory education. I would recommend this place if your child needs extra learning tools that's not just an iPad. It's so important to have hands on non screen learning activity as their eyes will have screen time strain. Definitely worth looking around if you have children, students, or just looking for educational boosts. Even some items would be great for easy team building. Highly recommend. read more

While I love the store and how helpful all the staff at the store, I had issue with corporate itself, I noticed whenever I leave a 1 star review, it was never posted, I tried at least 10 time and still not being posted, I found out their tree animal toys has PVC in it that give foul smell, if you look up PVC it's one of the worst toxic chemical they can do to a children toy, same as BPA, it's no wonder if you look at all of their product review, they are all more than 4 star, because they have people sitting behind the desk filtering out 1 star review, so be warn, if you get any flexible plastic toy that has plastic smell, I suggest you let the company know and return it, because they hide all the complain that's why people don't know about it and they can keep making toxic product, shame on lakeshore. read more

Staff is so friendly and helpful when you come in. They will ask you what you teach and what you are looking for and point you in the right direction. The store also hosts demos for different products they have that are scientific or math related. They have everything a teacher might need if you teach elementary school. But they also have a teacher resources section that houses all the things you need to decorate your classroom from bulletin board paper to hall passes. Don't miss their special section of products that are on clearance. When you go there, you are paying a bit more for the quality and service help but as a new teacher that could be invaluable. read more

This store is amazing. It has toys you just don't see any where else, educational but super cool I can get lost in there if not for the husband hurrying me. We just got a gift for a 1 yr old party, they have all ages of inventory. They have sales and a loyalty program. I hit this store whenever we have a kid party to go to. As an elementary teacher, I easily spent 10% of my salary with this company: mostly on beginning-of-year decor and centers items. As a middle school teacher, most of the merchandise here is no longer appropriate for the age level of my students. But I go back annually for their teacher planner! Simple and organized without extra boxes and spaces I don't need, it with plenty of extra pages for note-taking during parent conferences and staff meetings. This book goes with me everywhere between August and June. This location is a bit bigger than others I've been to, but it's the only one in the Las Vegas area and completely across town from me- so I'll likely stick to ordering online. Join their e-club at your own risk, as you'll get discounts and sales alerts... but they'll flood all forms of communication you allow: email, snail mail, and text. It's a bit overkill. read more

I LOVE this place! I would spend my entire paycheck at this store for my students if I could. I shop at this location about 4 times a year spending about 200$ each visit. They offer plenty of coupons and discounts. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is neat, organized, and well stocked. They have a laminator for your convenience and a Smartboard where you can sample computer programs and games. It is a very kid friendly store as well. I could just as easily order the same products online through their website but the employees offer the personal service that you just can't get online. read more

It's been said in alot of reviews...pricey. Like flip over a box to see the price tag and almost fall over pricey. Kinda ridiculous pricey. They have a ton of neat stuff but the prices will keep me away. I fully understand they have to pay rent, employees, heat and cool the building but still. Clean store and friendly employees. One other grievance, we went on a Saturday morning, it was crowded. Some lady brought their dog in to walk around with one of those fake "service animal" vests..if it's not a certified service dog they shouldn't be in the store. I was told about this store from two of my grandchildren's preschool teacher. She said she bought many of the items for her classroom from this store in Henderson, Nevada. The quality and durability of the learning items are great. Some say a bit pricey, but if you understand they will be going through many hands. Especially when it is a loved toy/ teaching tool. The cost becomes less. We go there often for the enrichment classes on Saturday. The children find them enjoyable and learn from them. The staff are wonderful people, very patient with all the kids running around with excitement. Many sample items out for testing to see what the little ones are interested in. The only thIng that would make this store better was if it were closer to home. It's an hour drive round trip. So we usually make it a full days outing. At least three times a month. read more

This store is amazing . It's very well lit and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. Everything thing you need is all organized, by subjects and grade levels. It was easy to find everything I needed quickly. I like that the front of the store has educational games and activities . My little one keeps asking me if I need more supplies, so that we can return ! The front of the store ,as well as a section towards the back has discounted items. These items range from work books, games, teaching planners, achievement awards , stickers, etc. I was able to find a lot of the things I needed in the discounted areas, which was great. This is the place to go to find great materials to help your child develop intellectually. I like to find workbooks that focus on a certain area. While their selection can be overwhelming, the staff is always so helpful in reviewing their stock with you. Last summer, I bought a workbook for each subject I wanted my son to work on. One of my friends thinks that I should have gone to one of the dollar stores and just picked up what they have there. I am willing to pay more for the right materials. Hands down, best part of this place? Every Saturday from 11-3, they have free crafts for the kids. My daughter had to be pulled away last weekend. They had these great markers that were more like paint. They also had markers that were in shapes and smelled great. We ended up buying a painting book with paint that comes on every page. read more

I've spent a lot of money here over the past two years and am generally satisfied but my last experience has really annoyed me. We bought some of the dot art paints a $20 product just so our daughter could "paint" while being moderately supervised - like I'm making dinner or doing dishes and she's at the kitchen table. The product was disappointing - the foam tips on 2 dotters (is that a word?) came off within 5 minutes and they are useless without them. The colors are also off.. The black is really green, yellow is orange, green is goopy. When I called today to talk to someone about it the person who answered the phone said "oh, well we have more for sale".... um thanks? When I asked if they would give me a discount or credit or offer me something she said "we don't do that". You don't stand behind your products? Well, okay. I won't stand behind businesses that don't treat customers like they have value. I can get the SAME product on Amazon for five dollars cheaper and free shipping plus Amazon would take a defective product back with no questions asked. This is a parent/teacher paradise. The kids loved it too and didn't want to leave! In a nutshell: educational toys galore for every age group. Workbooks for any subject imaginable for every age group, grouped according to subject. Hard-to-find melissa and doug items (not just puzzles). Classroom supplies including decoration, art supplies, workbooks and more. Theres a section in the middle with toys for little guys to play with, including a wooden train that my two year old stuck with my entire time in the store. Helpful staff who signed me up to their email program AND their text alerts (great marketing!) i got a free shopping bag for my trouble :) I got a couple of cheap noonies for my 3kids for about $7 total. Not bad. Ill be returning to use my check-in coupon and to do some christmas shopping. Lots of stuff on sale, prices are reasonable for the most part. Im excited to return! read more

It's high-priced, but you can't beat the selection. Seriously, if you are planning any projects with kids (including babies/toddlers), Lakeshore has all the supplies you need. Or you could just buy a ready-made project kit and not even have to mess with the supplies. But yes, it is overpriced. I am addicted to this store! As a mom of twin preschoolers, this store is a life saver. They have so many good educational toys and books, walking around here is so much fun and gives me so many good ideas to keep my kids entertained. I receive coupon often and love to come here and load up on things. Things are not cheap here, but we have gone to many $$$ toddler enrichment classes, compare to the cost of those, this place is actually quite economical. I liked the big selection of learning materials and toys they had but the staff was very unfriendly. You think at a kids learning store they would hire friendly staff. When I asked for help the lady working there was annoyed to help me and answered my questions with attitude. Then when they had a long line I asked another lady if she could check people out also since she wasn't doing anything and she said to me very rudely look there's a line right there. I spent over $200 here and drove 40 min to get there and was very disappointed with my experience. If I didn't drive so far I probably would have just left without purchasing anything. read more

We visited Lake Shore Learning Store today and found many interactive, fun and entertaining items for kids and families. Prices are good and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The store has a circular lay out that keeps everyone moving and the flow of the store is good. We felt good leaving here because we were so well treated. We felt like they wanted our business and that they had things that we would like to buy. We will shop here again for training/instructor supplies and also especially near Christmas time when we are looking for educational and fun gifts. read more

We home-school and we come here for time to time for one thing or another and we like it. The staff seems like they are sick of being there when we have gone. The last trip we made to the store we where looking for fidgets to keep my boys hands and brain busy while lessons and all they had was putty. read more

Huge!!! The Costco of teachers supplies! Too bad Lakeshore in Cali is only a 1/3 of the size of the one in Henderson.

I love coming here for many reasons; 1. they have everything I need and then some! 2. You can say I've become a regular here so I have had the pleasure of getting to know all the employees. I have always had positive encounters with each one and they are very helpful when I needed items for a child with ADHD, they pointed out items that could help keep them busy and they worked great! 3. I also have done orders through their corporate office and they offer great incentives to purchase from them! 4. I read an earlier review discussing their unpleasant experience about a product not meeting their expectations and being faulty. Although this has rarely happened to me when I need to return/exchange something. They have always given me a replacement for the faulty item without any hassle. I have never experienced arguing or refusal to return or exchange an item. I love this store and their employees just make it even better! read more

What an amazing store! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It's nice to go into a store that isn't full of violent games and toys. The selection of "learning" toys are incredible/creative and the other toys are unique, teaching motor skills, promoting critical thinking, as well as creativity. The store is 25 miles from my home, but I will only be buying toys from Lakeshore Learning in the future. read more
