Clear Water Pools created a beautiful pool for us, however the aggravation is not worth it. They build the pool quickly (which is great), but then you never hear from them again. Our pool turned green twice in 3 weeks because we were never told how to care for the pool. We were never given chemicals or a pool vacuum as promised. After calling multiple times, we finally were able to get someone to come and clean the pool. I do not recommend using Clear Water Pools. read more

Sorry to say I agree with many of these negative reviews. They installed our pool years ago and were perfect. But last year was the last straw. My pool wasn't opened until mid-summer after a few snafus. Frustrating! The heater and timer continued to have issues. Constantly breaking down. The filter started to leak so they made a service call to fix it and then boom the heater started leaking! I finally gave up and said close it. I was told I had to pay up before they could close the pool. I went in and paid in full. Then in February of this year 5 months later I get a bill and a call, that I owed them $700+! I argued to no avail. Finally paid and said good bye. New pool service came in in May. I needed a new heater. New guy said the old brand was prone to breakdown ( tell me about it). New heater was in in three days working perfectly. Ah finally all systems go!!! Sorry to have to leave this negative review because I loved Sharon and Daisy. Maybe this was COVID related? If you can get a different pool company for weekly service and openings and closings, definitely do it. The service at Clearwater has really gone downhill over the years. Before we switched companies, the last time they opened our pool they installed all the knobs backwards, and left some of the jets plugged in the hot tub so when we turned it on it backed up. In addition to this, they couldn't keep the algae out of the pool for an entire summer. It constantly grew back, regardless of how often they shocked it, eventually they gave up answering our calls for them to shock it again. After switching companies, the pool has never looked better, no algal problems, no opening/closing issues, reliable service and good repairs. I don't know how well they do installations, it is possible that they're better at that. Avoid. read more

Clearwater is the worst pool company. My pool was constantly green all summer. Then trying to get one of the service people to come over to remedy the situation is impossible. I used them for years and could no longer stand their unreliability and the expense they charged for not maintaining my pool as promised. I have used a different pool company. What a difference, they are reliable and my pool is truly sparkling. Anytime I have a problem they are right over and the fix anything. The pool including the heater. Clearwater could never fix my heater they would send a third party company and charge me 500 just to look at it. Really wish I could leave zero stars for this company. A woman who wouldn't give me her name who claimed to be the owner of the company just called me flipping out because she said her guys were here for a appointment that was cancelled. They called to tell me my pool was already open. Thank you for trespassing on my property and letting yourself into a gated backyard. Appointment or not ever hear of knocking or a doorbell? Who just walks onto someone else's property unannounced? After a heated argument the person on the phone said she was being belittled as a woman. I don't know what calling me yelling screaming "listen to me" has anything to do with a persons gender. It is people like this who belittle the people who stand against much greater issues in society. It's very sad that a business owner would speak to a potential customer like this. It's even sadder that after having my phone number, my address and letting yourself onto my property unannounced that you won't even give your name on the phone. Very shady! No manager to speak to and the business owner screams and curses at customers. I would not hire this business if they were the last pool company on earth. Scheduled for Pool opening/seasonal contract few weeks ago with Sharron. They were fully booked so could not do it until today, June 6. Took the day off work to be home when they come. Call to find out what time they are coming and told they have no information on me, im a liar that they never scheduled this with me and will have to wait two more weeks for them to come open my pool. We have been using Clearwater for close to ten years now - they installed our beautiful in-ground pool and have been taking care of it each season - never had a problem - if we had a pool issue it was always resolved - we had a very difficult problem a few years back and every day Sean and his staff were here until it was resolved. Had my pool installed last summer by Clearwater. The best thing I ever did. They helped us design and get the best shape for our yard. Looks like a vacation resort. They come every week to clean and if needed because your having a party they come again at no charge. Very professional staff (Mike & Sharon) also the guys who come to clean the pool are very polite. I would recommend Clearwater and their staff to install and maintain your pool. Good people! read more
