The classic MIchelob is absent. I had ham and bean soup, cheeseburger and fries. The soup is homemade and just what I wanted. Burgers are all smash-style; cooked to order and still juicy. To me, the fries are the hit; hand-cut fresh potatoes fried to order and great! Saturday afternoon was a little spotty but they got the job done. Dagwood's is a classic college dive bar with good food cooked behind the bar for all customers to see.

It did not appear to resemble a traditional gin, but the description describes it as "juniper-forward". It was alright, but not my choice. I stopped by the night before and had a couple of pints of the Blood Orange Blonde, which was EXTREMELY good. I have never tried any of their other beers, but, given my experience, there appears to be a lot of promise there. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend. I still think they need to cut down the sauce on their olive burger - by a lot. But the flavor was very good. And the burger was cooked to my liking. I will definitely visit again.
