The smell when you open the door should have been enough to make us turn around. We decided to smell past it and give it a try anyways. The crowd was mostly just sitting at the bar but there were about 15 or so people there when we arrived. The wait staff was friendly and we ordered some drinks and appetizers. It wasnt that busy but service was not the best I was done with my drink and food for almost 15 min before the bartender asked if I was done. Mind you I have stacked my stuff up and I was sitting at the bar passed by a few times and never asked if I wasnt another drink or if I liked the food or anything. So thats why I gave it 3 stars. Hostess, very friendly. Service, horrible. Waitress overcharged and once she brought food we never saw her again. We had to ask a waiter to find her for drinks, boxes and our bill. Food was ok, not good. Nachos had almost no cheese on them at all. Also, there were young boys walking through the restaurant and outside of the restaurant selling candy bars...not as a fundraiser. Just a package from the store. They asked us 5 times if we wanted to buy them. Their mother was in the parking lot when we left and she was yelling at us for standing near a parking spot she was trying to get to. We will never be back. read more

This sports bar has an old school feel and plenty of seating inside. Nate and I went for Nuttyfest recently with Starfarm performing outside. The outdoor area was set up with some tables and a reserved couch area up near the stage, with a cash only canned drink bar at the back and some heat lamps. I wish there was a bit more seating or just some high top tables out there to put drinks on, but it was spacious outside with lots of room for dancing. The menu is pretty large with your typical sports bar food items - we didn't eat here but I wouldn't be against trying it in the future. The bar has two sides, which provided ample room for ordering drinks and we never had to wait long. The bartenders were quick and efficient. The tap list at the bar is one of those rotating digital menus on a TV, which can make it a little difficult to read since it kept changing on the screen. The staff checking IDs at the door and collecting cover were also polite and efficient. The sound outside was great and we had a fun time. The bar has pool tables in the back and overall the vibe inside was fun and lively. I don't get to downtown Lansing that often but I'd be willing to stop by here again in the future. It's directly across from Jackson stadium where the Lugnuts play, making it a convenient stop before or after a baseball game. We were a party of 10, with a reservation. Although it took a couple calls to set up. Only to find out nothing was written down. No organization. Once we arrived (April 15th 23), none of the staff 0came to greet or seat us. Meanwhile the group at the hostess stand is now 20 people deep. It was so frustrating. I looked for RESERVED signs... nope. I checked out the seating chart. But it didn't show vacancies. I handed out menus while we waited. At this point, we all should have left. But it was our friend's birthday and this was our plan. Finally we are shown to our area. But it's filthy. In order to not bother the staff, I cleaned the table off on my own. The staff had no issue giving me a spray bottle and rag. So frustrating. Here comes Katilyn to save the day. She was actively working to please us. I reassured her we were not mad at her. This is clearly poor management. We finally got a chance to enjoy ourselves. I will end with this some very simple advice. Customer service is free. Whoever manages this place should google that. I had reached out direct to the restaurant hoping for response but none was received. My husband and I came in for lunch , arriving at 12. There were very few other patrons there. We actually came in at the exact same time as another party of 3. We placed an order for our food, and then waited 37 minutes. When our server Jenny asked if we wanted another drink I said we would like our food. At this point the party we walked in with had already eaten and had their table cleared. Several other tables were eating while we still waited even though they came in after we had already placed our order. When I asked about our food she pointedly looked at her watch, and walked away. After another 10 minutes, our food arrived. I thanked her and asked if we could please get our bills and a to go box as we were on a time limit. She brought our bill and a box and again I thanked her, and she ignored me. After she returned with our card, I thanked her again. To which she again turned around and walked away. Never in my life have I walked out without tipping my server exceptionally well. I literally could not even bring myself to leave a tip. Nice looking sports bar. We popped in to get lunch while in town for a conference. It took over an hour to get 2 salads and a nacho. When our food finally did arrive it was extremely underwhelming. My nacho was a small of burned chips sprinkled with unmelted cheese and topped with 3 inches of wet lettuce. ( how did they burn the chips without managing to melt the cheese?!?). The chef salad had a singular nickle sized piece of ham under the lettuce. That was it for the meat! The Cobb salad had one piece of bacon and a few pieces of weird tasting chicken and and a 1/4 inch of standing water (from the wet lettuce) I'm the bottom of the bowl. The poor wait staff tried their best, they were friendly and apologetic, but they were at the mercy of the kitchen. I advise skipping this place read more

Best hot wings I've found in the Lansing area. I ordered 10 wings to go with hot and honey habanero sauce on the side through their online ordering. They only let you pick one sauce to toss your wings in, so I just ordered them plain and tossed in the sauce at home. The wings were perfectly sized and juicy, not tiny and not huge gmo style either! The sauces were AMAZINGGGG. A very classic tangy, spicy hot wing sauce and the honey habanero is a wonderful extra spicy/sweet/savory honey caramel that just glazes the wings. They provided some wet hand wipes also thankfully. The best part - the wings lasted the 15 minute car ride home and were still perfect by the time I ate them. Overall not bad. We came on a Monday around two and the place was mostly empty. Despite two servers and only two other tables (we were sitting at the bar) it took about 4 minutes for us to be greeted. I ordered a Monday special to drink which was PBR for 1$ other specials included all "J" drinks for 3.75 (Jameson, jack, Jose, jäger etc). My partner ordered a sprite. We asked the server for recommendations as this was our first time here. She was a little unenthusiastic but did recommend the burgers pizzas and meatball appetizer. Per her suggestion we tried the meatballs in their appetizer sampler which also came with wings and mozz sticks and ordered the breakfast burger. The appetizer came out first as it should and as our bartender suggested the meatballs were delicious! All food was hot and overall I was satisfied. The mozz sticks and wings were average but bar food is bar food. Unfortunately again the service was lack luster. My PBR had been empty and no attempt was made to ask if I either wanted water or another beer. Appetizer and beer gone waiting on food and have no beverage :( My partners sprite is also empty. The burger was delicious and cooked medium rare to our request! When the burger was brought we were asked if we needed anything else to which we said refills.
