I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. WOULD NOT COME BACK TO BLUE WAVES. I came back to Blue waves…read morebecause my 1st time was great. 2nd time around was extremely horrible. I contacted Jesse Dec 3rd and got back from him on Dec 5 sent him all the information/file that he needed (placed my order and put a deposit down) I got my invoice and the turn around date said Dec 15. The following day I contact Jesse to make small adjustments to my order. I contacted him Dec 17 & 19 if my order was ready. First he said that his store was closed early Saturday and no explanation if my order was ready, 2nd time he said that the file I sent him wasn't good enough that he needs to run this by his graphic designer. (That lets me know that my order yet hasn't been started. He had plenty of time to contact me during the due date) I RESENT the files I sent him when I put my deposit down. (Mind you I already have my graphic designer do all the work) On Dec 20 he told me that the order will be ready by DEC 22nd. I sent one my employees to pick the order and only half of the order was ready and Jesse requested an additional $30 for the small adjustment I asked for. (Which doesn't make sense because I told what I asked for) he then told my employee that the order will be done that afternoon or the following day. We are now going to Christmas weekend. So we decide to come back on Dec 28 early afternoon (6 days after "that the order will be ready on the 22nd") we asked why he charged us additional $30 if I explained what I wanted (maybe that was a miscommunication on both sides) he explained why he charged $30. no worries but what doesn't add up is we paid $90 for a set of 1000 business cards and he's charging us $30 for 100 business card (shouldn't we at least get approximately 300 business cards) Jesse then makes another excuse that the order isn't ready "due to holidays" to come back tomorrow. Mind you that my DUE DATE was Dec 15. He claimed that his prices went but not once did he mentioned that. Looking at my invoice he did charge me his new prices compared to my 1st time around. Overall Jesse just kept making excuses on our order and kept on delaying everything. Really bad communication with him. I called him multiple time within Dec 5 -Dec 28 and no one phone call answered. And top of everything the quality of the work was extremely horrible (the quality of the business card felt cheaper and yet he charged me more)

A great local print shop that was able to quickly turn around our custom print job. The initial…read morecontact was promptly replied to and they made it easy to send them what we needed to print in short order. They beat their quoted turnaround time and we were very satisfied with the print quality and super fast turnaround. It's no wonder this shop has survived while many of the ones that used to exist in the area, are long gone. Would definitely come here again for any print needs and you should as well.

I just need 2 copies made from an original photo. Thats all. Color Images replies saying it was $5 and can be done while I wait. I replied to confirm and they said it was easy and to come on down. So I send my husband in the following day to drop off the picture. After dropping it off he calls me back and tells me how rude the guy at the counter was to him and just how complicated he made a simple task seem. He said the guy acted like it was just a huge inconvenience, asking several questions for what should be simple and self explanatory and complaining that they normally do larger jobs , blah blah blah. At the end of the day I hadn't heard back from them as promised to let me know it was ready. I was already on a time crunch, because I intended this picture as a gift to someone who was visiting so I stopped by to see if it was finished (4pm, drop off was 9am) and the guy said "Oh, I forgot, let me warm up the machine". About 10 min later I have the copies. Now remember, I specifically asked for a color print of a glossy photo and they specifically responded that they can provide this. What I got was AWFUL. It was a morphed, discolored, paper copy. Common sense dictates that if someone asks for a copy of a glossy photo then theyd get a glossy photo in return. Its was so terrible. I think he even tried to balance the color, which made it worse...... The original photo was taken is soft lighting but it came out like it was red..... I dont even know how to explain it other than it was absolute garbage. Like I said, maybe they do good work on large print jobs but this place had no business reaching out to me when I was specific about what I was looking for AND the guy who is at the service desk is rude and unprofessional. I dont care about the measly $5. I care that my time was wasted and that both my husband and I were treated poorly. Oh, and I had to ask for my card back because he didnt return it at the end of the task and yes, he forgot because he sent me on my way before giving it back. I drove straight to CVS and printed out a perfect glossy duplicate for under $1.00, self service, took 3 minutes, the picture wasnt damaged or bent like I had feared which is why I did not go in the first place and no drama.

When I was ready to get the ubiquitous Realtor notepad made, I reached out to Edge. Their pricing was extremely competitive and I decided to give them a shot. The designer, Wayne, worked up a great design based on information I provided of my existing branding from postcards. He quickly worked up some proofs and with some minor changes, I gave an approval. My Account Consultant, Edgard, made sure I was always aware of the status and progress of my order. When my notepads arrived the printing job was less than stellar. It was no fault of Edge, it was just some of the images used made the print turn out much differently than the approved proof. When I expressed my disappointment, Edgard and Wayne, quickly made some fixes, sent me another proof which they felt would be much better, and ran another print run....AT NO COST TO ME. That's right....they did something that is rare in this day and age....they made the customer happy. It's service like this that makes me loyal to Edge and will, without hesitation, refer them to other business contacts.

Aaron is from Hilo, and worked with the local schools that he went to- Kamehameha Schools in creating the mural. We threw a Mauna Loa x Aaron Kai community event that was extremely well received, and our staff have commented on how the mural has lifted morale at the plant, as it is such a beautiful piece that everyone sees on their way to work.
