Skip the pizza seriously. I thought an actual italian restaurant might do pizza better than little caesars. I was wrong. 95% crust. The thin layer of cheese only covered 60% of the pizza. The sauce was so thin I'm not sure it counts as having sauce. It was 18$ after taxes. I knew something was up because the box felt empty upon picking it up. I was interested in the other dishes but now I am not. I had a 2$ party pizza in the freezer and I much rather eat that. At least it has more cheese. read more

The eggs benedict were the best I have ever tired. And the pudding that they make is SO good!! I will leave this vacation spot craving this yummy dish. Mama Capa is a delicious cappuccino made with Borghetti liquor imported from Italy. Not a bad way to start off the day :). The staff and owners are friendly and down to earth. Came in on a Friday, place was packed out! But, someone came up and greeted us and got us a table for 4 in about 10 minutes. Very friendly service. Make a reservation though just in case. Got the seafood linguine, delicious! Clams, mussels, scallops n shrimp, it was great! Everyone got great portions, except for the meat lasagna, a little small, but the other 3 in our party got some good sized plates. Good atmosphere, busy place, great food, and good service. Called a couple of weeks ago and made a reservation for later that evening. As feared, we arrive and guess what? No table for my party of four. "Who did you talk to?" I spoke to the person working here that answered the phone! We got a table without much waiting so no harm done. Food was good, dessert, though...excellent. Next trip soon after with my date. Great wine specials, fresh salad but...if the menu says: Primavera prepared with carrots, peas, and mushrooms, why, why, why would I expect you to ADD overpowering chunks of green peppers and onions? I was told they don't tell you everything about the dishes on the menu. Huh? I prefer my purchases be "as advertised". My sensitive taste buds did not care for this unexpected surprise. It was like Fajita Primavera. This classic dish could be done so much better, right? Their pasta dishes just seem a bit heavy. Bigger is not always better. Came in for a to go order so I sat at the bar. The bartender seemed to be in a frenzy. I was never asked if I wanted a drink and I sat there 20 minutes. I would think if a customer wants an order to go and they're seated you would offer a drink and ask if you wanted an appetizer while you're waiting. The menu said choice of pasta, which I was never asked. The food is so so for the price. It seems that the people at tables were well taken care of and it was busy. We took my husband out to celebrate his birthday at this fine Italian restaurant. I had called ahead to make reservations for our party of 13. They were more than accommodating. When we arrived our table was ready and we were promptly sat in the back dining area. This was perfect considering we had children in our party and it's never fun to get those nasty stares while trying to enjoy your rare night out. The servers were very attentive and made us feel welcome. We eventually ended up being the only party in the back area. My daughter had gotten restless and started to run around. The staff kindly shut the partition that separated us from the other dining area. The food was delish! I am Italian and struggle appreciating any Italian restaurant, but this place did not disappoint! We will return!! read more

Great Italian food and I'm Italian. We got fried calamari and a large arugula salad as appetizers; both were delicious. We had seafood linguine, chicken Marsala, sausage and pepper pasta, and rigatoni alla caprese for entrees. All of which were amazing. Service was good at this place. I remember being seated immediately and our waitress would check up on us. There were a few things that were disappointing about this place. Bread was decent came with olive oil to dip your bread in. Bread was fresh and yummy. We ordered the gnocchi in a sage brown butter sauce and it was pretty good. I ordered a margherita pizza, and it was not to my liking. I should have just got the original house pizza. The crust was not to shabby. The bf ordered Lobster Raviolli in cherry tomato cream sauce. That was a let down because there was only one raviolli with lobster meat. It was the house special!! How could they set our hopes so high! (I always try his food, tehehe.) The actual sauce was rather weak too. We ordered dessert which was the Tiramisu and cheesecake. They put whip cream all over the Tiramisu. We ate whatever didn't have whip cream on it. I have had good experiences with both their brunch and dinner times. For brunch, I got the eggs Benedict and LOVED it. It also came with a small salad and a yummy vinaigrette. My friend and I were both wanting pasta this week previously, and decided to stop by to order gnocchi with sausage, ravioli, and rigatoni with vodka sauce. We both got a slice of the special dessert of the day, creme brûlée cheesecake. Both of our pasta dishes was delicious. Only thing I found strange was the serving size seemed to be cut in half compared to our experiences of dining in. For paying the original price of 20~ for each dish, both of our boxes were not even partially full, which was disappointing and made us rethink making to go orders again at that price. I have not had that issue with ordering a pizza to go. Their staff is full of sweet people, so I guess dining in is the way to go here. read more

We had a very nice and professional waitress (Christine S.), and the owner dropped by to check on us, which is always nice. The vodka sauce on my pasta was delicious. Unfortunately, the pasta was undercooked and gummy, sticking in my teeth. The waitress offered to have the kitchen redo the dish but I hate to waste food, so I kept eating. My rating would be a solid 4 stars if it weren't for that. Undercooked pasta seems a common complaint (I didn't trust the reviewers to know whether it was al dente or undercooked - my bad!). Someone should remind the cooks to test the pasta before plating it. My teenager enjoyed his chicken and veggie calzone. Will return to try the wood-grilled pizza and cheesecake. :) read more

This place is usually good, but when I came in a large group the service was awful. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we had a reservation, and we were waiting at the door for 15 minutes. We sat down and it was 20 minutes before they filled our waters. Didn't get our food ordered for 45 mins. They brought us oil but no bread. All around poor experience. Went there on a Saturday night around 7 pm. It was really busy and it took a while for someone to asks us how many were in our party. Only option was the bar so we opted to sit there. Ordered the fried calamari and it was very blend. No flavor whatsoever. We ordered a pizza and pasta for our main courses. Just to summarized it... we spent an hour waiting for the food. The pizza arrived, it was eaten and the pasta never arrived. Left he place still hungry, and with nobody at least coming to talk to us about why the food was taken so long. Plus the piano guy was playing and it was very loud, to the point were you couldn't have a regular conversation with the person sitting next to. I give I zero stars for service. Went here for dinner last night with hubby and two kids. It was around 8:00pm so we were seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly. However, the food was mediocre. My daughter liked her pizza, but my son and I ordered pasta which was not special. It had no flavor and we were disappointed. The sausage on my pasta tasted like cheap, processed meat. My husband ordered the eggplant parmesan which he enjoyed, but I've never seen this dish drowned in sauce the way they do it at Clemenza's. You couldn't even test the eggplant, which I think is the main part of the dish. Not sure if we will be going back to this place. If you like Italian, try Pazzo Italiano in Destin. Some of the best brick oven pizza I've ever had. Service was spot on and all the food was amazing!

It is always a hit or miss at this place. Sometimes the food will be great but the ambience will be Terrible. And other times the food will not be very good or the order will be wrong but it is a great atmosphere. Last time I went I sat outside and a off-duty employee pulled up and went to the back entrance and left his car on blaring some audacious music. We told the waitress how this was affecting our meal and she shortly went in and the employee left. It seems like they have a constant revolving door of new employees that don't quite get the amount of training they should. read more
