Love this place.. you can order anything and won't go wrong. My son loves the gyros and having tasted it I can see why. Plus it's filled to perfection. I love their moussaka. It's so delicious- a bit light on eggplant and heavy on potatoes but never the less excellent . The tomato sauce on it is amazing. I'm tempted to try something else with it to try something new. My kids love the fancy cakes that are brought in from somewhere. I love love LOVE the cheesecake. Count yourself lucky if they have a slice waiting for you! Sometimes they run out! Service varies. First, the food and service is Five Stars, but the facility is Four Stars. To dine in, ordered Mousaka, large Greek salad, chicken lemon soup, and Greek potatoes. We were recently on vacation nearby and someone we know who lives in the area recommended we try out this restaurant. She warned us that it doesn't look like much on the outside , but that we'd get a good meal. We went on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't anything fancy at all, BUT being near a military base there was lots of service members there eating. I always take that as a good sign when you find lots of locals in a restaurant. We ordered our meals...I got the pastichio which was huge and delicious, my husband got the beef souvlaki, my daughter got the spanakopita, my son in law got the pork chop dinner (which was 2 giant pork chops) and the kids got chicken finger dinner to share along with hummus and pita bread. All our meals were delicious and good portions. We got some desserts that were good too. I would definitely go here again on our next visit. read more

We were visiting our son, when we happened to pass Aegean. It looked like an intetesting place so the next day, we decided to try it for lunch. The outside if the building doesn't do the inside justice. The inside is a sit down family style restaurant that really makes you feel at home. The service was great and the wait staff were very positive and friendly. I ordered the Roasted Greek chicken which was a HUGE half chicken served with Greek potatoes and a salad. With this size of a meal, there were plenty of leftovers. The meal was delicious, it was interesting however, the way they served their potatoes was very unique. Waitress was friendly. Decor was out of date and could use a freshen up. Our booth that we sat in was horrible. No padding and it was like sitting on hard wood. Inside had a weird smell, maybe because it was an old building My salad was just that... the worst part of it was that the whole thing was made from iceberg lettuce which is horrible. The add on of the gyro meat was just plain and no flavor. The Greek dip was tasty and had a good flavor and texture. Feta cheese and tomato was just as good as the Greek dip. My girlfriend had the gyro and again no flavor. We more then likely wouldn't come back which is terrible because we enjoy Greek food. read more

Service was great; our waitress was kind, friendly and attentive. My daughter had the chicken gyro which was huge and overstuffed with chicken. I had the chicken meal with potatoes. The portion size was huge but lacked authentic flavor. My daughter and I both agreed our food tasted like cafeteria food, which was a bummer because we both had expectations. Baklava was decent but was doused in cinnamon (which I've never had on baklava before).. honestly, it could have gone without. 3 stars for our fantastic waitress but -2 for lack of flavor and authenticity. read more

Came here with a good friend, service was quick and food came out fast as well. Greek Coffee was also really good, but a bit small though. Flavor of moussaka and dolmades was great and the prices weren't bad especially for the portions. Interior is very cute with Agean sea paintings and can accommodate a lot of people. Stopped in for take out last night for dinner. Ordered gyro,dolmathas , and side of falafel. Adorable hostess took my order and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Wonder smells permeated the entire restaurant when I first walked in so it was a good thing that I knew what I wanted to order when I got there. As I was waiting, I noticed that at 7pm on Thursday night it wasn't crazy busy but there was a steady stream of customers walking in. Nice music playing and most tables filled. 1st falafel didn't make it out of the parking lot!!! Oh so delish, hot and flavorful!!! Gyro was so legit! Tzatziki was def homemade and I'm glad I asked for extra on the side!! Falafel was the best I've had here and rivals that of NYC!! Total flavor bomb. Dolmathes with the lemon sauce was just as incredible. I could have had an entire cup of the sauce alone, it was that delicious. The flavor of the rice and meat in the rolls was truly authentic. We had takeout ( as we have done before). Food was greasy; calamari was rubbery; zucchini was overcooked and the french fries were missing. Sooo good! We had Greek dip and pita bread for an appetizer, the bread was warm it practically melted in your mouth, it was probably my favorite part! For lunch he had the traditional gyro i had the fried chicken Gyro. I ask for it with no lettuce and extra sauce, but that was not how it came. We didn't stay to eat only because we wanted a decent gyros. they had the spit on but no gyro meat on it. but they had pre-sliced gyro meat sitting there in a plastic bag waiting to be put on the grill. It's not the same when it's done that way. read more

After perusing the menu, I settled for a Traditional Gyro Wrap with an order of fries, which came out fairly fast. I was impressed with the size of the wrap, but felt the flavor of the meats was a little lacking and more tzatziki would have been better. I had the gyro platter and greek salad was the best I have every had. The wife had the gyro and was huge and she said it was the best she has ever had. Been driving by this place for over a year after having a great Greek cafe I loved in Charlotte, NC (Mad Greek Cafe). Glad I stopped here. Service was great from beginning to end. Food came out fast and hot. No liquor license so no ouzo which I love. It's not really traditional Greek that I truly enjoyed while in Germany but close. Hard to get traditional ingredients when you're 6000 miles from Athens. Glad I stopped and tried it. Will certainly stop by again. read more
