I'm truly confused by all the reviews for this restaurant. The fried cauliflower and eggplant were tasteless. The vegetarian plate was standard with nothing distinct about the flavor of the standard dishes (hummus, baba ganoush, grape leaves, etc.). The lentil soup was very watered down and rather tasteless as well. The spinach pie was not your phyllo dough goodness served by many other places- just a piece of poorly flavored pita wrapped around some spinach. There are so many other Mediterranean places in the city to choose that I'd recommend driving the few additional miles to make yourself happy. I can promise you it is not here. read more

My husband and I visited Cleopatra for dinner, and I am SO glad we did. We had the sampler plate for an appetizer. It was delicious, I ate the sampler kabob with steak, kofta and chicken kabob; all of which was hands down the best kabob I've ever eaten. My husband ate the sayadiah something with tilapia and shrimp, he loved his as well. Even if your not that big of a fan of Lebanese food, I still recommend this place. It's amazing. read more

Got take out for my family tonight. I got two gyro plates, there was no pita bread. Check your order not one table in the resturant when I picked up my order. For a place that prides them self for making fresh pita bread everyday on there Website , boy would would I hold have love to have some on my gyro and to dip into my hummus. Food is GREAT! Best pita bread ever. So many greek and lebanese places around here use pre packaged pita, but I'm fairly certain theirs is made fresh. Only downside is sometimes the service sucks, although it's worth putting up with it for the food. read more

Their hummus is so good, it's crazy:) My son begs me to get hummus like four times a week, and I asked if they could use new separate oil, to make me falafels and they did it with no problem. Try the lebenese tea. It's great! Also the Pita sandwiches are fantastic (either shawarma). Meat pies, hummas, grilled veggies and anything with steak are also big wins. Went here on a whim.... Pleasant but slower service. Don't be in a rush when eating... Laid back atmosphere. We were the only patrons here for a while. We had kibby for appetizers... Very good. Hummus was bland. Pickled veggies come with bread with every meal... So good!! I had gyro sandwich which was good except it was completely falling apart... Had to eat with fork. This is a hidden treasure! Very dedicated staff, and excellent food. The pita bread is fantastic, and they served it when you arrive with pickles, as well as olive oil and zaatar spices to dip it in. All the options are good. I am vegetarian so biased to their excellent vegetarian platter. Plates come with a soup and couscous in addition to the rice with vermicelli. And please try the libanese ice tea! Worth it! We also like the take out option, always on time, hot, and served with a smile! read more

Favorite middle eastern restaurant on the West Bank. The lentil soup is delicious and you can get it in place of the salad as an appetizer. They also give you some pickled veggies and olives as a complimentary appetizer which are delicious. The chicken Schwarma with the light garlic sauce is my favorite! read more

It is a very nice place for friends and families. Cleopatra can do birthday parties, showers, graduation parties and much more. The name of the restaurant was named after an Egyptian woman. One day my family and I were bored of home food so, we planned to go eat at a restaurant. The first thing that came to my mind was Cleopatra. I never went there before so, I convinced my family to go to Cleopatra. I was excited on my way and couldn't waituntil I go there. When we first walked in, the breezy, fresh air blew towards my face. A guy wearing a fancy and black tuxedo came up to our table and gave us a menu. Cleopatra has an expensive and enticed menu. All of our selections were superb,wonderfully spiced and seasoned. We ordered:falafel, kabab, shawarma, humus, grilled chicken, tabouleh, steak, fries, rice, pita bread, meat pie, and kibbie.The tabouleh was colorful and sour. It contained parsley, tomatoes, and cracked wheat. Falafel balls were crispy, steamy, and dark brown. They weren't greasy at all. It is moist from the inside and crunchy from the outside. My mouth burnt when I took the first bite. The shawarma was spicy with lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes on the top. Their kibbie is locally made not frozen. The humus they serve had perfect texture, creamy, and tasty. It is decorated with pickles around it and olive oil in the middle. The grilled chicken was spicy and smelled fresh. Each bite I took tasted different. The chewy, big, full cooked steak was fantastic. I loved the rice because it was hot with toasted almonds and spiced vegetables on the top. One of my best was the pita bread. It was fluffy and round with a golden color. I had zero complaints about the food. I also ordered an iced tea that was very cold, sweet, and had rich flavor that had a slice of lemon on the top of my cup.The price of our food was about one hundred and fifty dollars. It wasn't expensive to my family because we were a lot and even if it was, it's worth it. We left with a feeling that we got more than we deserved. The atmosphere is quite relaxing with Arabic music playing. The color of the carpet is red. The tables are organized with fancy white tablecloths and strong wooded chairs. Cups, plates, spoons, forks, and knives are very clean and shiny that you would be able to see yourself. Customer service in this restaurant is amazing. They keep checking on the people and ask if they need anything. The kindness and respectfulness to make their customers happy was very interesting. The wait staff is courteous and helpful. It is attentive but small, which is the only problem when the restaurant is full that is unfortunately seldom. The portions are huge, so I would be able to take home something for the next day. Now I discovered a place to get delicious food, awesome customer service, and fantastic prices. It is quiet and calm to read and do my homework with no one bothering me.
