Click's is a nationwide chain but there is only 1 in Houston. I've been a patron for over 30 years with no complaints. They maintain their Diamond 7, 8 & 9 foot tables very well and even their house cues are made by CueTec. The manager, Robert has been there as long as I can remember. Very cool cat! The staff are helpful, friendly & happy. Lots of TV's, Darts and other games. It is my favorite in the Greater Houston area. I've played around the world and never found anywhere better. Gotta write a review before it's too late. Last Tuesday, Governor Abbott said mask wearing isn't mandated in Texas anymore. So, I wanted to visit a bar one last time before it becomes effective this Wednesday. I came here to get some late lunch after I got off work. The waitress behind the counter had her mask to her chin. I asked, "you guys don't wear masks anymore?" She smiled and walked away. That didn't bother me. My order was takeout anyway. Just few weeks ago, I was here that Saturday after Winter Storm Uri. It was sunny but still cold. I thought to come in to thaw out my freezing bod. This was my first time visiting a sports bar since CoVid-19 restaurant restriction. Mmm... The aroma from the food filled the whole place up. I remember when my coworkers invited me to the boneless wings' happy hour in 2017. I swear to come back to try other dishes. Waitstaff was attending a large party of grownups. I was gonna get something but it already surpassed legal capacity inside and there is no way I be eating outside in freaking cold. Then I came back last week to order Texas Pizza and Buffalo Wings with Fries. Surprise. Surprise. They smelled so good as I drove home. That thin crust pizza pie topped with 5 kinds of meat: pepperoni, ham, beef, bacon and sausage to fill me up. Lemon Pepper flavored wings were cooked the way I like. They were flavorful even after reheated. Blue cheese dressing was little off, but ok for wings not for salad. The fries were seasoned with spicy red seasoning. Besides utensil packs, I also received generous amount of dried peppers and powdered cheese. I'll give my takeout package an A+ for the presentation and functionality. Well. Until next time... I will return for more wings and watch people shooting pool when life is getting back to normal. read more

3 TIMES at least I've been here to grab drinks with friends & shoot late night pool & never reviewed. Sorry. I went last night & my experience was pretty much the same as the last 3 or 4 times so here goes: This pool hall is a typical neighborhood go to shop when you want to stay local to home or not get to fancy but you want to get out & do something. There's nothing fancy about the place so don't feel the need to get dressed up. The staff is not friendly you get a very stand off-ish I'm here to do my job what do you want? Kinda vibe everytime I've visited. They get what you want, no smiles, no enthusiasm & send you on your way. Games are $12/hr, food is reasonably priced $7.50 for a quesadilla or nachos...nothing over the top about the food, same as the service. The pool tables are in pretty good condition, sticks appear to be replaced from last time I was here so not bad. The venue is not super clean or decorated or fancy. It's just a local watering hole you can go to when you need something to do. read more

Cool ahhs dive bar with lots of pool tables and super clear televisions. Tanni was out server/ bartender tonight and she did a fabulous job keeping up with our party of 4 demands/shot requests. Met here to have some drinks and apps with coworkers. Drink specials were good and the food was typical bar food. We didn't come to play pool but I could tell it was a spot where avid pool players enjoyed being. Only downside was the service. Our waitress was very very slow and not very attentive. read more

The customer service is not what it use to be and you can tell they don't want blacks there in groups unless you are with another groups of people that aren't black. Can't say enough good things about this place. There's always a good vibe amongst the employees and you can see they work together very well. I've never ordered anything from the kitchen I didn't like. The specials are great especially on Sundays. Pool tables are well kept up and you can always count on the staff to change the tv station to your favorite sport or sports team, although most that come here are Houston sports fans anyway so it's on that by default. If there is trouble, it gets squashed quickly and efficiently by the regulars and staff. This review is long overdue since I've been coming here for years now, but just wanted to let all you Yelpers know. Best pool hall in a 30 mile radius. My only real major complaint is someone plays Tennessee Whiskey on the Internet jukebox too often but that is easily remedied by a next play credit. All in all, a great place to chill, watch sports, and have a conversation with friends, and make new ones. read more

My friends wanted quote: "A cool and casual place to grab a few drinks." Therefore, we ended up here. It was a Saturday night and nothing much going on inside. Plenty of seating and bar space to order drinks. I asked the bartender if they had any specials and he named off everything beer; $2.50 pints, $4.50 "big ass beers" and $6.50 pitchers. I am not personally a big beer person, especially when I go out so I opted out and ordered "Sex with an Alligator" and a Long Island for $16.50 and later ordered a round (3) of Kamikazes for $11.70. This is what deters me a lot of times from going out. I can spend $20 on a bottle and be good for a week versus one night of going out and getting a buzz for $25+. We didn't play any pool or darts, but the option is there. Bathrooms were decent. Service was attentive and friendly. Patio was nice and had fans going which helped with the Houston heat. Tonight Brandi ruined our night with her tone/demeanor and we decided to try Slick Willies for our outings which are Tuesday, Thursday Sunday. We drink, eat and play pool as we are in the service industry. We all love Michelle and our waitresses but tact and positive communication are essential to choosing where we frequent and who we give our 20% and greater tips. We will now give Slick Willies a try. She needs to work on her table manners and facial expressions I don't recommend you having her as your waitress, music is non existent unless you pay for it, the chairs are tiny, everything takes extremely long to get to you. I've lived down the street from clicks and have never been here. Last night was my first time. When I walked in I was hit with the strong aroma of fried chicken! I thought that was rather strange for a pool hall. This is a laid back place. They had several tables, darts, poker tables and good lighting. The music selection here was pretty crappy too. I'm not sure how I feel about this place. They have lots of pool tables and huge televisions. I went to watch the football games Sunday afternoon and they had them all showing. That part was a plus. Well, they had them all showing after I asked the bartender 2x to change the TV's. It wasn't that busy but she rarely checked on us. If you Do Not sit at the bar or you are not one of the regulars, you kind of get treated like a stepchild. The restrooms are pretty disgusting and the food isn't good at all. If you like bar food and your expectations are low for your hamburgers you may feel differently but I wasn't impressed. Parking is easy and I consider myself to be an easy customer but they took ignoring me to another level. If I ever want to go watch the games and be left alone, not hungry and have no need to use the restroom (or have a purse full of hand sanitizer instead), I may go back again. Fast Eddie's is a better option or even Slick Willies off Montrose and Westheimer. This place smells like cig smoke. The bartenders want somebody present with you before ordering a pitcher or a bucket of beer. If you order 1 and tell somebody is coming they will make a big deal when you head back to the bar so be warned. Tables are nice, and wait staff is nice, but the whole ordering a pitcher thing and the way the bartender made it a big deal will not have me returning. They also eliminated free pool for LA Fitness customers on Wednesday recently. read more
