Came here on a Saturday night with family. Nice chill vibe. Doesn't get loud and they have plenty of drink/beer selections.

Great place for HH our group met there recently and was given great drink service - servers are attentive and pleasant. Wednesday night steak night is delicious! Been twice and not disappointed- they begin serving at 5:00. Ribeye done your way with a stuffed baked potato or salad. Extras: mushrooms, asparagus and more. $30

Stopped in to the brand new Kirby in the Heights this evening. It did not disappoint. Decent amount of parking. Daily specials. Sooo much seating along with a Texas size bar. Honestly plenty of inside and outside seating. Loved that they had giant fans outside too. Plenty of screens to watch all the sports. So many staff to get drinks along with taking away the empties. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. Asked my hubby about the men's. The Kirby Fresca was a nice different touch versus other typical choices.

Don't bring your vehicle here unless you want it getting broken into. According to staff happens nearly every day... Needs to implement security

Glad to see the longest bar in Texas so close by! Kirby Ice House has a vast beer selection, as well as other standard affair on the cocktail/shot side of things. I've gone on both busy and not so busy times, and the service has always been pretty good (although I prefer the not so busy times). They've got food trucks, and if that's not your thing they allow you to order outside food. They've got plenty of TVs, and both indoor and outdoor seating.

Wow this place is huge and crowded! Apparently crowned the *longest bar in Texas* at 146 feet long, you will be walking for a while to find a bar seat! One of my friends and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm for Sunday football and Sunday funday and it was so full that we could barely find a parking spot in the large front/side parking lot but luckily someone was just pulling out at just the right time. Inside there's 146 feet of bar seating as well as many, many tables as well as outdoor tables. Screens are all around for all sports watching interests. The bar has all of the standard well options as well as many, many beer taps. They do also offer several daily specials so be sure to check with the bartender on any promotions for the day. For food, there are rotating food trucks but be prepared to wait for a little bit during busy days. One of my friends ordered a pizza from the food truck which looked amazing but took about 30 minutes to come out. Kirby Ice House is honestly a great spot to gather with friends and watch a game but something about their franchise just isn't my favorite. It just feels impersonal and profit-driven. Regardless, the space is impressive. Check it out and decide for yourself.

Went here on a Saturday, April 11th. Sat on the turf patio area, waited a minimum of 15 minutes at the table, no server ever came over. I walked over to 5 servers standing near the bar leaning on the column and asked if we needed to go to the bar for service or if someone was working the area. They said someone was working the area, I told them no one had been over. I went back to the table and waited another 5 minutes. A server, Joy, came over and was very nice. One of the servers that I asked about service came over while we were waiting on drinks and asked one table next to us if he wanted anything and did not ask us or any of the surrounding tables. Houston has a plethora of bar options and outside of the size there is nothing special about this place especially if the service is going to be sub par. There is no food served, they have over priced food truck on site. The tvs are big and abundant The guys at the door are super friendly and welcoming.

The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake. They weren't too sweet and just the right amount of richness. If they aren't on your list for steak night I definitely recommend!

There is plenty of outdoor covered seating and inside seating. What comes to my attention is how clean this place is. The floors and tables are virtually spotless whenever I've come here. The restrooms also follow suite. To me, this indicates how efficient they operate. For entertainment, there's multiple large televisions throughout the pub, including outside on the multiple huge outdoor spaces. I appreciate they do Houston sports first so I can catch a Rockets or Astros game on TV here easily. The tables are spaced out outside and allow for kids to roam while parents watch as they sip their beverages. We came on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't too busy. They have a Tuesday special that includes 1 large 1-topping pizza, 1 medium specialty pizza, and 1 order of focaccia breadsticks, all for $37.99. This is more than enough to feed a family of 4. We came as a group of 7 and ordered an additional medium specialty pizza in addition to this, and everyone left well-fed. For our large pizza, we got the Classic Pepperoni. No complaints here, as it's your standard pepperoni pizza. For our specialty pizzas, we got the South Austin and the Ground Control. The South Austin had a red sauce, prosciutto, goat cheese, and arugula, all drizzled in a vinaigrette. This was delicious, as we've had similar ones to this at other pizza joints around Houston, but I appreciate the touch that Aviator added to theirs. The Ground Control had a red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, ham, and ground beef. This is basically a supreme pizza with the addition of ground beef, so think of it the baby of a meat lover's pizza and a veggie lover's pizza. I do really like the crust on their pizzas - a good middle-ground between thin crust and pan pizza. With that said, the crust held up well considering the amount of toppings that came out on our specialty pizzas. The focaccia breadsticks were tasty and the marinara sauce on the side was perfect for dipping. Service was very friendly between the two gentlemen working behind the counter. They brought out our pizzas straight from the oven and cleaned our plates as we finished them. The bar has a variety of beers on draft and a decent wine selection. Happy hour runs until 6pm during the week, which is $1 off drafts and $6 house margaritas. On the night we went, they were out of several of the draft beers - hopefully this is not a regular issue. I tried the happy hour margarita and the Aviator house wine - both were great and a much cheaper alternative to ordering drinks at the movie theater. I'm glad we found this place - I'm sure it will become a regular spot before we hit the movies. While we have our favorite pizza spots inside the loop, this is another solid option to consider that's located just outside the loop.
