These folks are utterly amazing. I have now rented 5 dumpsters from them for clean-ups, clean-outs, and projects around the house. It's unfortunate one review gives them one star for what was clearly a misunderstanding (by the way, looks like that guy got a 15-yarder for the price of a 10 and STILL complained). This was my first time renting a dumpster to clean out my house to prepare for renovations. I would highly recommend Clifford Danial & Sons. I called a few other companies and Clifford was the cheapest. Karen whom I believe is the secretary was friendly and super helpful. The gentleman who dropped off the dumpster was very professional. Great, professional. Drop off driver knew he was going to have to drive on the lawn a little bit (as did I) but he still made a point of asking if it was ok. At the time I shopped around, they were the cheapest by volume, but not by weight. We rented a dumpster and the person who dropped it off was very nice. The customer service over the phone was excellent, they were very nice to deal with. I would definitely rent from them again. We did go over the weight limit but we put cement fencing posts in there so that was to be expected. We had a great experience. Drop off and pick up was on time and painless. I ordered a 10 yarder for $385 with a 1.5 ton weight limit and dealing with the lady on the phone was fine and in fact, she was very helpful. My issue and why I am giving them a 1 star is the following: The driver dropped off a container which I filled with a lot of household items. This was not for construction, just a cleaning out of stuff we no longer needed. I call to have the container picked up and the following day I am charged an additional $125 for going over the weight limit. When I called to find out why, I find out that they gave me a 15 yarder BUT NEVER TOLD ME. So I tried to explain to the owner that if I had known that what was dropped off was 50% bigger than what I ordered, I would have been carful to not fill it up. He had no interest in that and just kept saying that I went over the 1.5 ton limit and refused to meet me half way. It's not even about the money, its about deceiving the customer (bait and switch?) and no integrity on his part. If he is doing that to me, I assume he is doing that to others. So buyer beware! In my opinion, I feel as this was consumer fraud. I contacted the BBB and we went back and fourth. The owner NEVER admitted that he should have told me that I received a larger container than I ordered nor did he ever say that he should do that. After going back with a few emails, the owner offered me the half of the overage (which I asked for when I was on the phone with him but he refused) ONLY if I took down my review on Yelp and Facebook which I declined. And that was after he offered me about $22 which would have been the 1/2 ton overage charge on a 15 yard container. If a company will only refund you to keep your experience quiet then I can not stress enough to be careful. If you choose to use them, make sure you get what you ordered read more

I recently did a small renovation and fall clean out after 20 years in our home. I contacted a number of local providers. Clifford was not only the best in terms of price, the service could not have been better. Karen in the office was very helpful and gave me tips to keep the weight within the limits for the container. Dan himself delivered the unit. He was not only on time, but I could not believe the level of care he had for my property. He laid some lumber down on my driveway and VERY gently lowered the unit onto the lumber that was protecting my driveway. I'm not sure if it even made a sound when it finally hit the ground.
