The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins. I had to recently have some work done to my father-in-law's car and it took a little bit of time to get the first appointment in (just under 2 weeks) so that wasn't an issue. We had questions about replacing the coils, should we replace all 8, should we test and only replace the bad ones, could I buy the parts somewhere else if I found them cheaper. They answered every question and talked through the options with me. In the end, we did all the spark plugs and they tested the coils and replaced the single bad one they found. We made another appointment and brought the car back to have the passenger window repaired a few weeks later. We'll definitely continue to bring work here. Long Appreciation Post…read more A couple weeks ago, I was rear ended on 91 by a hit and run driver who did not brake for the stopped traffic. I am extremely grateful for my Ford Explorer for keeping me safe and being able to walk away without injury. In need of a whole new back end of my Explorer, I chose Johnson's Auto Body in Tolland to repair my car because of a positive referral. I cannot express HOW INCREDIBLE they were!!! Renee, who works the office, was AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL and walked me through the entire process. She was genuinely empathtic and consistently reassured me that "I, and my Explorer, are in very good hands" and that "I was going to get it back and it'll look like nothing ever happened."
