Cliff's Classic Care Plumbing has been to our house twice in the last three weeks. The first time was to clear out our sewage line from the house to the city line, he and his done did a quick job of it and cleaned up perfectly afterwards., The second time was today to change out the shower handle to a new one. Again they did a great job. Debra called yesterday to let me know that Cliff would be 1/2 an hour late for our appointment. I called and scheduled an appointment about a week in advance. On the day of the appointment he was a no show. After sitting around waiting I called to find out what was going on. His assistant answered the phone and said his other job ran over and he wasn't going to make it that day. I understand these things happen, but they should of called me once the realized they were going to cancel. The assistance reschedule for a few days later. Once again he was a no show, but this time no one answered the phone. I left multiple messages with no response. It's been several days and no one has even reached out to apologize. I wasted two days of sitting around waiting on two seperate no shows and delayed getting my washer/dryer hooked up by two weeks, when I could of been scheduling the job with a different plumber. Called up Cliff's Classic Care Plumbing today after Struse Plumbing (our regular plumber) was unavailable due to a month-long job in Benson. This plumber was on time, efficient and very friendly. He did exactly what we wanted, fixed the clogged pipe and even disconnected our water softener for us at no extra charge. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because this is a small, family-owned business, and they don't have expensive equipment like those little cameras they send into your pipes to check where the blockage is, nor do they accept credit cards. If you don't mind writing a check, though, and you've got a simple clogged pipe that needs to be snaked or treated with chemicals, or if you need a pipe (or water softener) disconnected, this is your guy. Extremely reasonable prices and he offers a military discount, too! read more

Cliff's work is five stars and he is a pleasure to work with. Our flush valve needed replacing - the toilet was constantly running. We couldn't easily replace the valve because the water faucet to turn off the water to the toilet was frozen. I did my research and was a little depressed to see so few plumbers with high Yelp ratings in Sierra Vista. I saw Cliff's Classic Care Plumbing ratings which were high but few so I looked at his website and learned he has gotten a high rating from Angie's list for six years in a row. I called for an appointment, Cliff called back within a couple of hours even though the message on his phone said it might take a day to get back to me. We set up an appointment for the next day - btw 12noon and 2pm. He showed up 15 min early apologetic, hoping it wasn't a problem. He found that our outdoor water turnoff wasn't working either so he turned the water off at the Main. Within 30 min, he was finished and he used the flush valve we had purchased when we thought we could fix the toilet ourself. He gave us discounts for being vets, left the bathroom in pristine condition, and he was a gentleman. The outdoor water turnoff would be somewhat costly to deal with and it would include digging up the landscaping. Cliff said its not leaking and as long as someone can turn the water off at the Main, we shouldn't worry about. If we need that done, he said just call and he would do it as a courtesy. He knows his business and he knows customer service. With those two things in short supply among other businesses I have dealt with in SV, Cliff is a keeper. Call him with confidence. read more

Fabulous, craftsman, old school, plumber. Incredibly methodical, does not schedule successive jobs tightly, and very organized. Replaced my hot water heater and UPGRADED the original home builder's work as if my house was his! Installed male, threaded adaptors on hot and cold water stubs so future inlet/outlet lines can now simply screw on/off when needing replacement. Used new, high quality stainless steel flex water lines. Pitched the supplied-with-new-heater brass drain valve (has rubber seal inside, ugh!) with very high quality Wolverine (lifetime warranty) 1/4 turn brass ball valve. Installed and plumbed drain pan (now code required) to outside exterior wall. Installed condensation fitting in gas line (now code required). Also plumbed back in the complex water recirculation pump and piping. Sweated new copper tubing = a work of art! And of course, no leaks! Seeing is believing. You might find a plumber charging a few bucks less, but why sacrifice quality, witness a rush job, or risk a leak? And Cliff is the only employee so you can count on perfection time and time again! I have NEVER been disappointed in his finished project where quality and customer satisfaction is his guarantee. In my case, almost $200 on the invoice was additional investment I asked for in quality parts and upgrades for long water heater service life. Worst ever! Dishonest. Called for estimate was told it would be 89.80 for the estimate applied to bill if he did the work. Also stated, I would get a bill in the mail if I cancelled without giving 24 hr notice. I set up the estimate and the date for the repair at the same time, explaining I needed the job done on Friday, he agreed and I paid $100 cash down since he did not have change. Thursday night I got a message from his secretary saying he could not do the job Friday she offered Sat Mon or Tues, all would not work for me. I told her because they were breaking the agreement and not within their required 24 hr notice, I wanted a full refund, which she agreed to mail me a check for the full amount. When I called the next day to find out where I could come pick up my money instead of waiting on the mail Cliff answered and told me i would not be getting my full refund. He refused to hear anything I had to say and was raising his voice the entire time talking over me and hung up. Does not honor his word, the word of his secretary.
