    Jerk Pork

Leftover and microwaved. "Jerk Sauce" taste like water, salt & browning. Not pictured is the jerk chicken which look like they cut up to heat the inside on a skillet. Disappointing. Too many better jamaican spots around.

One of the tastiest and best quick meals I've had recently. My boy friend and I ordered a late night dinner after we drove to Miami over the weekend. We had the Jerk chicken, rice and peas plate which was served with sautéed cabbage and cooked plantains. The jerk chicken was juicy, smoky, perfectly blackened, extremely tasty and great quantity of meat for 1 portion that served 2 hungry tired souls. The rice and black beans combo was quite filling, flavourful and yummy. We devoured the meal instantly. Am craving for it again while am typing this review thousands of miles away. We ordered DoorDash so cannot comment on the service or ambiance.

OMG!! THEY NOT IN THIS KITCHEN PLAYING AROUND!! me any my cousins chose our first annual cousin trip to Miami and we stopped at the liquor store then cliffs! Best decision we've made!! The jerk chicken and rice & peas is hella good but the plantains?? Go crazy! We will definitely be back before we leave + the vibes felt very homey and everyone was so nice.

I love Jamaican food so much and this hits the spot. Food is great. I've had the jerk chicken and pork so far and it's always amazing. I had the jerk chicken lunch special and they hooked it up. People were nice as well. Love cliffs.

Ordered this for Delivery after a long day on the ocean and boy did it hit the spot. These days I am always craving chicken with peas and rice so when I was scrolling through my delivery options and saw Jerk Chicken I was sold. Very quick preparation and delivery. Very generous portion as you can see from the photo! The chicken was delicious; probably a half bird I think. Super flavorful; and that sauce that came with it was great! A nice little burst of heat. Peas and rice were delicious probably made the right way with coconut milk. Especially the bites where that yummy sauce had leaked through! Amazing! I would totally come back here and would love to actually have the time and energy to dine in and get the full experience! But I have no regrets and enjoyed a wonderful meal!

Food is great! Authentic Yardy cuisine! Not much to look at and not a place you eat in, I mean you could if you want, but the food is worth it

What can I say.... a lot of GOOOD THINGS about Cliff's -- and please read. I originally went to another Jamaican restaurant and the folk there did not know anything about customer service BUT I kept searching and found Cliff's Restaurant & Catering. What a 360!! Great fresh food, great customer service, big portions... I really recommend Cliff's and I'm glad I found this location. Make sure to try them out -- and I promise, you won't be disappointed. I had Jerk Chicken, with cabbage, rice and peas, plantains, and a lemonade. I'll be back!!!!!! Reasonably priced as well.

You have to look hard for it but you'll be glad you found it. Clean place, friendly family staff and welcoming prices, a plus for the era we live in. I got a curry chicken lunch special which included a hefty portion of chicken, white rice, steamed vegetables and plantain with a fresh lemonade for $5.95. Same price and deal for the jerk chicken. Both were delicious. They also have a badass sound system which I'm sure plays reggae well into the night when they have events. Amazing place I'm very glad to have found.

Late night food. Food was beyond delicious. Full of authentic flavors. The woman here is awesome. I called to tell her I'm on my way and she waited for me. I ordered jerk chicken and forget to ask for oxtail gravy over my rice but they did that already. Was so happy with the flavors and they pack a big portion ! You can eat this twice. Best thing is it wasn't over priced. Please come try here

Found some kind of nasty waxy paper in my food.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.

The vibe of the space feels like they brought in the murals of wynwood to their interior design. The music selection was rap hit after rap hit, loved. We sat at the bar. Our server was Marcus. He was so helpful and attentive. Gave us his menu recommendations, which we followed suit. We ordered the duck dumplings and the sweet potato croquettes from the HH menu. From the regular menu, we ordered the bbq toro and the oxtail udon. The duck dumplings had a rich au jus, great. Our favorite app was the sweet potato croquette. Slightly sweet, a satisfying crunch, but soft in the center with tender brisket. The white bbq sauce and parm gave it a nice smoky nuttiness. Ordered another round, they were so good! The bbq toro had an amazing smokey flavor and a nice citrusy butter as the sauce. The cut was perfect. The oxtail udon was really hearty, and by far the best dish we had (though all the dishes were seriously incredible). It comes with a cured egg yolk, which they mix for you tableside. How does a brunch reservation get confirmed for a time when the restaurant isn't open? I decided to give it another try this weekend and went at 5 PM to sit at the bar. The hostess told me there was a "Hungry Post" event happening. I asked about the price and she said it was $100 per person. Okay, fine -- but when I asked what the event included or what it was about, she seemed unsure and said it was "just a party" and that you just go in. No explanation of what was included, no specials, nothing. Charging $100 per person just to attend a "party" with no clear details feels odd and poorly communicated. I genuinely want this place to succeed because the food and drinks are great -- I just wish they would focus on that and improve communication and organization instead of trying so hard to be trendy.

Our waitress, Marcia from Venezuela, was friendly and enthusiastic about the menu and making sure our evening was fun. We started with mojitos and a Margo-no-rita. Sugar cane and mint leaves spill out of the top of the mojitos. My wife said she didn't miss the alcohol in the Rita. We moved on to ham croquettes and empanadas. The croquettes are flavor bombs with the lime salt sending them to the next level. The empanadas are good and full of meat filling. We had 4 different entrees and shared them. My smoked pork was a tad dry but the Smokey presentation offset the texture. We did have to move the smoker off the table as it got eye irritating. I would have also liked a plate to move everything to after the wow factor. (I should have asked for one). My wife's fried fish is served whole in chunky bites. Flavored well it was great on its own. She thought the chili oil sauce had an Asian flare which felt off theme. Our friends dishes were the flank steak (good size and flavor) which was cooked to his required doneness, and the Marabu Charcoal pork. Both dishes were delicious with their sauces. Marcia suggested a fiery sauce if we liked heat. We told her to bring it and it did not disappoint. Heat at all levels left a good lingering heat for minutes. It was good with everything. We skipped dessert as we were full and chose to window shop in the mall to walk off a full belly. Highly recommend, ask for Marcia and we will be back.
