I hired them to replace my furnace. The quote was reasonable compared to some other companies that provided me with quotes. The installation team was very professional did a great job. The only downside was that my furnace is in the crawlspace above my laundry room they had to remove the trim and some drywall to get the new unit in there. I would have liked to know that in advance (that the new unit was larger than the space opening could accommodate) because their quote to repair the drywall and trim work was way more than I was willing to pay, so I found a Handyman that would do the work for much less money. Bottom line, they did a great job and I was happy with the overall work. I would just make sure to ask them if the new unit will fit into the space that you have available. Excellent experience from start to finish. Long story short, had HVAC issues on the hottest day of the year. Contacted my home warranty and several HVAC services. Dan at Climate & Energy Solutions responded before anybody (at 10:00pm, no less). The next day, again, before anybody -even my home warranty provider- got back to me, I was contacted by Hope at Climate & Energy Solutions, and was set up for a time the following day (everybody else was at least a week out when they finally did get back to me, and even my warranty provider could not find such quick service). Jeremy arrived the following day 1/2-hour early (I've never had ANY contractor of any kind arrive early - it was AMAZING), listened to me describe my issue at length, then set to work. He completed his work quickly, and was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was having issues with my HVAC system due to two crimped copper pipes. Having a three month old and experiencing a hot Chico night, I needed it to be fixed. I had left a email that night regarding my issues and I was contacted the next day by a very helpful lady named Hope. Due to my schedule, I wasn't able to schedule a time with them and told Hope I would try other HVAC specialist in the area in hopes they would be able to come that day. Hope, told me that she would personally figure something out and call me first thing if a technician was free. I called other HVAC Specialist and their appointments were way into next week and I felt defeated. I couldn't go another day in a hot house with my 3 month old. Luckily, Hope called back and told me she would let me know by noon before she went to lunch. A couple mins later, she told me a technician was coming to my house in 30 mins. We have had a problem with our AC through the hottest part of the year. A real bummer if you ask me. We have had 3 companies come out to diagnose the problem. First company said it was the law to replace the entire unit because they were not allowed to fix a unit with R22 refrigerant. Their bid was to replace the entire system in the house. Second company said that the motor was blown out & that we were low on refrigerant due to a frozen coil. That they needed to replace the motor, refill the R22 refrigerant, and that it would take a few weeks to get the new motor. He explained the situation with the R22 refrigerant. Turns out the entire unit didn't have to be replaced and we could refill R22. It was just becoming more expensive. So after two visits a picture is becoming more clear. But it is still not totally clear. I have heard two different things. So I call C&E Solutions. Abe was the technician who came out and he was great. Very friendly and matter of fact. His diagnosis was that there was a bad part connected to the motor. He explained he really couldn't diagnose any other problems until that part was fixed. For example, how could he tell if the motor was bad if this part was preventing the motor from even turning on? He offered to fix it for a very reasonable price and I accepted. He fixed it in a few minutes and my AC was up and running again. He then tested the outside units for refrigerant and said that they were both fine and did not need to be refilled at all. He also explained the R22 refrigerant issue. It was as the second company said. It is becoming more scarce and expensive, but still available. Problem is we didn't need to refill. As of right now my AC is working. It cost almost nothing to get it fixed and now I know who to call the first time if I need to repair or if I want to upgrade. Thanks Abe! read more

I called these guys out for a quote on a new ac/heating unit. I was using them for a second opinion on price. The first company quoted me 7625.00 for a replacement that they said I needed. They said I had a cracked heat exchanger. Dereck Nail came out and was going over the improvements. I asked him to just check out my unit. After messing around in there he found that the heat exchanger was not cracked. My unit is old and he said it would eventually need replaced but it was fine for now. He left and charged nothing. Not even 10 minutes after he left it kicked back off. I called him. He came back..... He found a wire that had been shorted for a long time. (The other company I was using for clean and check didn't catch it) He still charged nothing!! Anyway, I am now on a service schedule with these guys. My new service guy did a great job. Took his time, installed a different line. There are still honest people out there. When my unit finally does crap out you can be guaranteed I'll use these guys. Thank you thank you. read more

Extremely quick response Retimes over yelp. I messaged them at 5:39 a.m. (they aren't even open then) and they responded before 8:30 a.m. We managed to snag an appointment in a few days time and they were very hospitable. They called us before coming to notify us they would be arriving in 20 minutes of the appointment time. Kudos for that. The service engineer showed us where the filtration system for our HVAC unit, brought an appropriate sized change of filter, replaced it and explained to us the size to get in the future and how often we should check it and change it. Afterwards they serviced the large unit which hosts the fan and showed us what not to do otherwise we may damage our unit. Finally he checked our vents for correct temperatures and we learnt something else this as well.. I would say we learnt a lot from this experience and we couldn't ask for more. My AC quit on a day that is gearing up for a high of 104. i called Climate & Energy Solutions in the morning, and Hope answered and said she would try to move things around so that I could be helped the same day. Abe was supposed to come between 12-2 pm, and he called around 10 am and said he had finished a job early! Fantastic! Abe and Chris were able to quickly diagnose the problem and fixed my AC within 45 minutes. The price was way less than I was expecting, not much more than the $75 service fee, and they informed me about a maintenance program they do (2x's a year, one visit for heat and one for AC) for only $129. I must have drawn the short straw several times as I did not receive the customer experience these other reviewers did. I had my ac, solar and water heater installed almost one year ago. The unit is in a central location in the house, however much noisier than last. The condensate line that was installed fills a 13 gallon trash can daily. Unfortunately, the owner does not communicate with his team well. I called in 6/25/18 for some paperwork. I still have not received the paperwork. This service on my A/C was provided as scheduled. There was a very slight glitch in that the size of filter required was not available until the following day. The service provider told me that she would come back the next day, install and date the filters and leave me a note that it was done. There was no note. We found they had the best price quote for a service/diagnosis call of all the places we called, AND they were able to get someone out to provide service on our AC before anyone else. We picked them based on their high ratings and it was the right choice. I will say that there was a mix up regarding our service appointment time, and no one showed up so I called.
