Jacob and Bryan did an excellent job on my spring HVAC check-up. They took the time to thoroughly clean the condenser and ran multiple tests on the attic unit to make sure everything was operating as it should. What really stood out was how they walked me through the entire process at the end, showing photos and explaining each step. It gave me a lot of confidence in their work and attention to detail. I'm very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

My AC condensation pipe was completely backed up and needed to be flushed. Their tech arrived on time and seemed very professional, spending about an hour and a half working on the unit and inspecting everything inside and out. However, he couldn't find where the evaporator line exited the house. His solution? Install an external pump and run a whole new drain line. The rough estimate for that was, well, a hell of a lot more than the $15 fee they charged me just to come out and take a look. When he left, I still had the exact same broken AC, was stressing over an exorbitant bill to fix it, and somehow found out I'd been signed up for a $15-a-month service plan that entitled me to another check-up in six months just in time for winter. Hoping to just get it resolved, I reached out to Service Wizard via Yelp later that evening to see if they could come back today to do the work the tech recommended. I never got a response. Frustrated, I called a different AC company. They actually answered the phone, sent technicians out right on time today, and those guys spent **five minutes** at my house before finding the external line, repairing it, and flushing my system. Problem completely solved in under five minutes, and the fee was incredibly cheap compared to the massive quote I got from Service Wizard. I will definitely be canceling my $15-a-month contract with Service Wizard and won't be recommending them going forward. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!

The company was easy to work with on scheduling and quotes along with identifying rebates and…read morebundle discounts from Carrier. The installation was seamless. They loaded an incorrect unit on the truck that the technician/installer recognized after the demo of the existing unit and instead of ignoring and installing anyway (sometimes challenging for a homeowner to know the difference) he called the company and went back to pick up the right one and was still able to complete the installation within a normal timeframe. Erick was very methodical & quick, yet meticulous (& didn't rush or cut corners after losing an hour to pick up correct unit) and payed attention to the details and cleaned everything up afterwards. Louis did a great job on the outside unit, new "pad", electrical connections, etc. ps... they handle registering your product, rebates and arranging the city inspector, who by the way, said it was a great installation job and loves to see installations like that.

If you are a working person, or a person fighting a rare form of blood cancer like me, with its related expenses, they may not be your best option. I am giving them 2 stars, because their techs are professional, technically skilled, and product knowledgeable. It kinda' stops there, if you don't have major bucks for their work. I do find them, unsurprisingly, rapidly responsive after they submit a quote. Then, there are the coupons, with the fine-print disclaimers. In my case, a $150 "special" promotional discount vanished when we removed a short run of basic flex duct from the scope of work. No explanation was given about the discount's removal. It just vanished from the quote. Awesome HVAC company, if you can tote the note, and navigate the, sometimes disappearing, morass of their special promotions, discounts, and coupons.

In June 2025, we hired this company to diagnose an issue with our HVAC system. After their…read moreevaluation, we were told we needed a new condenser, which cost us $5,200. Two days after the installation, the system stopped working again. When they returned, we were told there was now a hole in the coil and that it would be another $5,000 to repair or $16,000 for a completely new system. At that point, we decided to get additional opinions. Multiple HVAC companies quoted us significantly lower pricing. We learned that the condenser we paid $5,200 for typically costs around $3,000 installed. We ultimately had a brand-new system (the same model we already had) installed by another company for $7,000, less than half of what we were quoted. When we raised our concerns, the only explanation given was that they "don't get as good of pricing as other companies." Our experience left us feeling like they don't even try to properly diagnose, they just throw in expensive parts and hope for the best. We are also feeling duped because we obviously paid well above market rate for the work performed. We strongly recommend using ANYONE else.

He drove from Austin to Georgetown to get it this afternoon so he'd have the system running by tonight. It works. When he was testing it, he discovered that our new thermostat had also failed. So he replaced it. All better. The service these people offer is just first rate.
