We were able to schedule the work for the following week after accepting the estimate. Our house is in an out-of-the-way place, but neither the office nor the technician were worried about that :). 2 stars for the whole admin process (getting a quote, setting up appointment, timeliness of email responses). 5 stars for the on-site installation. The whole admin process is sort of a mess and does not have their stuff together. It took 3 days before their estimator even gave me call after I submitted the request, and he did not disclose on that initial call that there would be a trip fee of $75 if you exceed the $500 per job minimum, which is highly unusual and not industry standard. In other words, if your job is less than $500, you pay $500 (and the trip fee is included). If your job exceeds $500, you pay $500 PLUS the trip fee of $75. I asked about it getting waived, and it was only after about 4 emails and 4 calls to both the estimator and the main office that they said they wouldn't waive the trip fee. From my initial request for a quote to the time I was actually able to get the install scheduled, it took 4 weeks. That being said, the install went well--the guys knew what they were doing and we liked the result. So the lesson in all of this is expect to be annoyed and frustrated with the quote, admin process, and estimator. But the install will go well. And, despite their trip fee, they were still the most reasonably priced out of 4 different places I got quotes from. read more

Install team was excellent. One pane cracked after the installation, not a problem. It cost us $66 more dollars to replace the window than 3M repaid us in our warranty claim. I asked ClimatePro twice to goodwill us the $66 from the profit they made on the $1000+ Job and they declined. Customer retention seems to be unimportant to them. The 3M sun tint was peeling on the south side and had to be replaced. The guarantee only applies to the original homeowner. We knew we had to replace it. We have a French door in the bedroom that had never been tinted. Understandably, a dozen panes cost a little more than a single window. Having done that now, we are amazed at the difference in the temperature of the bedroom in the afternoon on a hot summer day. Worth every penny both for comfort and energy. The work that ClimatePro does is neat and efficient. Their products speak for themselves. In this climate, I recommend them and their products without reservation. read more

I had window film installed by ClimatePro at my house in Bodega Bay in 2010. This stuff is the greatest product ever invented. It keeps out the UV rays that fade upholstery and carpeting extremely well. Recently I needed to have the film reapplied to 2 windows that had been replaced. Bryce, Dakota, and Ryan did my residential window film on July 16th. They installed the 3M AFFINITY 30 material that has a nice blue tint. These guys did a great job. They are professional, focused, and friendly. They were careful walking on our floor coverings and applied the film perfectly. As they had finished and were packing tools, I realized I had missed a skylight. No problem. They pulled out the tools again even through it was lunch time, and did it. The sky light was the hardest too because Bryce had to work in the very hot compartment recessed in the ceiling to do the sky light. I am noticing the house is a bit cooler in the afternoon already. Bryce also stressed the guarantee associated with the 3M product if there are any problems. I recommend these guys. Job well done. read more

Climate Insulating installed 3M UV protection for us about 10 years ago and the products continue to perform well. The only thing I would have changed, is that I would have had them install in every room of my house because there's such a big difference in wear & tear from the sun on our house. We recently did a large remodel and had them back to make sure that all our flooring, furnishings and artwork are protected. They are easy to work with (come when they say they will come, complete the job in the assigned time, clean), fairly priced, and their products work! The final product has worked really good. We have a southwest facing bedroom, and it gets very hot in the summer. The film works great in keeping some of the heat out. We recently had this company install 3M UV Window Film on our skylights. The skylights are difficult to reach. From beginning to end in dealing with them everything was FIVE STAR!! They were/are professional, thorough and very responsive to all that was requested of them. The men who did the actual installation were just "top notch". They protected the area where the film was to be installed and cleaned up completely after the job was finished. They put the table back where it belonged under the skylight and even "measured it" to be sure it was centered. The job was completed ahead of the projected time frame too. This was amazing. But I am more a automotive window Tinter for the last 15 years, in that time working with companies like ClimatePro also doing flat glass tinting for them, as I do have my own Automotive Window Tinting business as well. ClimatePro holds a standard of professionalism with pride in there work, and I know from first hand experience working for/with them over the years, including tinting cruise ships sailing the Black Sea with a bunch of guys from ClimatePro. So I do recommend them and their work if you are thinking about getting your house, business or even cruise ship windows tinted anywhere in the world you are. I do not like playing the competition game against other Window Tint Companies and know there is an abundance of work for everyone. I had several thermal crack issues in the past year with multiple double pane annealed windows (80 X 60). I went through Climate Pro's claim process and it turned out that it was not as painful as I thought. I followed Daria's (Warranty Claim Department) instructions, emailed internal and exterior photos, and I received the warranty check in few weeks. I had a standard 5 years warranty and had to pay some out of pocket costs to replaced those windows. If I had known, I would acquire extended warranty at minimal costs). For a $3,500 job, the extended warranty cost approx. $260-$280 and it pretty much cost the full window replacement cost. Climate Pro also worked with me to have those films replaced. Rex, the field rep and Jason, the install crew was skilled and professional. I would recommend Climate Pro's products for tempered glass windows. read more

I spent a long time thinking about having our windows filmed and I had a lot of concerns. In the end I chose Climate Pro and 3M's film, Prestige 70. The installation was flawless and the windows look great. I am very glad that the glare and the fading to the furniture are reduced.
