He handled a range of installations for us- UV vinyl on interior windows, anti-graffiti film on exterior surfaces, vinyl cutouts, and colorful wraps- and everything turned out fantastic.     I find it difficult to leave negative reviews because I believe most things can be resolved,…read morehowever, I didn't have any resolution with Window Film Specialists after multiple attempts on my end. - After providing measurements, the job was not completed during our scheduled appointment because he ran out of film. I paid him the vast majority and he said he would return to finish the last few panes. - We had back and forth rescheduling the second appointment. He said he would not charge us for the last minor payment because it took a while to and the film was delayed. He still charged us $50 when he arrived. (He also wanted Zelle despite me giving him a check I just wrote.) - I showed him a picture of streaking (on a high window) a few days after he finished the job. He said that was normal. I showed it to him when he returned the second time and he said that it was left by the squeegee. The streaking is still very visible on a daily basis and he did not correct it. - I asked him for a quote to clean our exterior windows, and clean up the streaking left on the interior windows, but he never gave us that quote after asking for it twice. - After asking for it 2-3 times, he also never provided an invoice by email so that we could have our 10 year manufacturer warranty.

    Had a vehicle done here in 2024, everything went well…read more Attempted to have another vehicle done here, April 2026, here's what I experienced. Picked up my new car April 1. Drove directly to Jet Black, spoke to Alejandro and made an appointment for April 5 to have my car's windows tinted. I asked if April 5 (Easter Sunday) would be a problem, "Are you sure you'll be open for business?" Alejandro: "Oh yes, I'm pretty sure we're open, I'll double check, if not I'll move your appointment to April 4 and call you." I never heard from him but on April 2 I called to confirm, was told they would be open on April 5. On April 4, I called one last time to confirm my appointment for April 5 and once again, was assured that they would be open. April 5, drive to Jet Black and find a business that was very much closed. Called their number and was told by Marcel, "This location is closed today." I became irate, expressed my frustration and was told that "lashing out" at him was not helping matters. True, it did not help, it wasn't Marcel's fault after all. Marcel assured me he would note my frustration and "pass it along to management." Oh goody. That really does me a great amount of good. Especially since I've arranged my day around this appointment. So I ask you, what should I have done? I did my due diligence. Called several times to confirm they'd be open, was told repeatedly they would be. WTF
