GAF, the shingle supplier for Graves' & Oaks', told us that Oaks Roofing and Siding does not/did not meet their GAF President's Club criteria, while Graves' was at the time and that was who we hired. What was supposed to be a one-day installation has now gone on for longer than a year! After the terrible installation we checked our security footage and found that an Oaks' roofer urinated and took photographs around our property, far away from the roof. We believe the value if this service to be so low that we plan to install another new roof soon. Kristopher Oaks is currenting trying to expand Oaks/Graves into several other states while stupidly dropping the ball in his hometown area.

I got a scribbled piece of paper with a lot of numbers that didn't resemble a contract. The salesman, Mike, was really nice, he put me at ease agreeing to a new roof. It was hellishly expensive but Mike convinced me the new roof had a lifetime warranty. I found out afterwards that it's a 30 year limited warranty. Big difference. He told me his crew would remove the attic fan and the mushroom shaped chimney thing and put plywood and shingles over the hole. They didn't. I can't climb up a ladder three stories to check out their work so I have no idea what it looks like up there. I called Mike to ask why I didn't get the contract or warranty or anything in writing, he said it's in the email they sent me. Too cheap to spend money on paper, I guess. I asked him about the attic fan, he said it should have been done if it's in the contract, he would check and see if it was. Never called me back. I'm sorry I fell for this.
