Clinica Las Americas is one of my favorite clinics to go to since moving to Houston last year. They do both appointments and walk-in's which has helped with quick turnaround or annual wellness appointments that Ive needed to do. Both Estrada and Nacy are wonderful physicians and truly care about patients wellbeing! I go to them for all of my blood work, vaccines, Covid Tests, anytime I'm feeling sick, a physical injury from exercising and recently, for my first vertigo spell as well. I have been popping in this place here lately at the tail end of 2024 and the start of 2025 due to my seasonal allergies.I've seen 3 doctors there during this time frame;A Hispanic woman the first time(really nice woman) a Hispanic man(the Doc with the attitude) and an Asian woman(super nice lady) a third time.The women were super nice and seemed that they truly cared and wanted to treat me.I went in again for my allergies on 2/12/2025 and saw the Hispanic male doctor.I got a vibe from him our first visit which was back in late 2024.He was brief not friendly and prescribed me a shot but no meds that first visit and I was on my way.Well my luck I get him again on the recent date mentioned 2/12 and his attitude was worse.He seemed to be bothered and told me that I was not eligible for a shot because I was just there in Jan. and had this shot already.I informed him I didn't know that's how it worked and he proceeded to talk to me as if I was uneducated saying to me "Let me educate you since you don't know."At this point I'm remembering his attitude problem from the last time I dealt with him so I tell him I know my body because I've dealt with seasonal allergies all my life and how doctors don't always treat me the same.He went on to tell me that yes,doctors treat all allergies the same.I told him,then why didn't you prescribe me medicine along with the shot on our first meeting.I told him the last doctor gave me a shot and prescription meds but you didn't .He proceeded to ask me well what would you like for me to do for you today then and I was steaming at this point.It was him trying to belittle me like I'm going in there purposely for this shot and I'm explaining to him that I'm just trying to prevent my allergies from getting full blown so that I don't have to miss work.I'm there sitting in this office not feeling 100 and then I have to deal with this arrogant,unfriendly doctor.This will be the last time I go there.I hope by me calling him out on his attitude motivates him to be a better person towards the people he has to deal with. read more

Very clean place, everyone is pleasant, i would recommend. Doctor Nancy is very nice and thorough i will be coming back.

Walked in, wasn't even greeted I had to shout at the receptionist to be acknowledged even standing in front of her she wouldn't bat an eye to say hello. We are in October of 2023, I brought my wife with me because I have short term memory and loose focus on my conversations due to my cancer treatment, when I went in for the weight and vitals I was told only me, I explained to the lady my medical history and then was called into a room but was told only me BECAUSE OF COVID!?! Covid! When it's not even a threat at this time. Their all wearing a mask, but get this the doctor himself was not! He asked me about the reason for the visit and I explained and just told me why was I here? I told him and got blood drawn and was told my results would take 4 days, 4 days! Luckily I am signed into quest and able to read my results as they arrived 2 days later. I got a call to schedule a follow up and I told the lady I wasn't interested in returning and got very rude and hung up. I appreciate being seen but just the experience wasn't a good one. read more

If I could give this doctor's office zero stars I would they are unprofessional at the front desk when communicating with me on any occasion. Their wait Time is 3 hours plus their male doctor is unprofessional he told me he could expedite my test results and when I went to get my mri done they told me he didn't order expedite on my paperwork I had just had a concussion and I was in serious pain. I had to go to my family physician because my neurologist was very booked ans I had to wait to see him on a later date. read more

I took my son for a well child checkup. I asked for them to draw blood. They said they could not because he is healthy. I said he had high cholesterol last time, so they said they would only check that. They never called to let me know the results so I had to call them. When I called they said he was negative HIV and Cholesterol was ok. I told them I didn't ask for them to check for that as my child is not sexually active. They said it was procedure with the blood draw. OK, so they couldn't do a basic blood draw for a check up but they check HIV?? How does that make sense? They are also rude with no bed side manner at all! The doctor was a pretentious male. They act like it's a FREE clinic! Even at an affordable clinic they have more manners than this. Also, the wait time was ridiculous compared to the time the doctor actually spends with you. Zero stars. read more

Honestly it's better to be a walk in patient than have an actual appointment. I am her for them to go over my MRI results, my appointment was scheduled at 10 A.M. and it is currently 11:08 and I have yet to be called into a room. I have seen patients who walked in about 20 minutes ago and they've been called to a room already. I have asked the receptionist and all she could tell me is there is no room available, so I don't know where the patients who got her 20 minutes ago are being placed. This makes no sense even if they have certain rooms assigned to different doctors, then why make appointments if you will not be honoring what an appointment entails. I am so dissatisfied at the way this doctor's office is being run. If I would've known I would have opted for the phone appointment instead. I would not recommend this place unless you get her super early and are a walk in appointment. read more

I tried to get an appointment because I needed to get tested for strep throat and maybe the flu. The phone was answered by a rude woman that didn't answer any of my questions and only gave me smart ass answers. I did not appreciate the way she responded to me as I was actually trying to get information to choose the best clinic so I could go get checked. There's no need to be rude when there's legit questions being asked, especially not if you're supposed to give the first impression for the clinic. read more

I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who values community, and of course, quality health care. I have been going to this clinic since I was a child and with both Dr. Lopez Sr. and Dr. Lopez Jr., I have received nothing less than affordable and impeccable health care. Dr. Lopez Jr. is very thorough in his examinations and when explaining test results. He is personable, attentive to my needs, and easy going which makes me feel comfortable. I appreciate that he never rushes his time with me! In some health care settings, I have been made to feel like just another patient in the waiting room but NOT here!! Their new location (really close to the old clinic on Long Point -- down the street) is VERY nice! Same sweet staff and same great doctor! read more

Today I went to the clinic with my mom , when we entered yes I saw it packed after maybe 15 minutes they told only me how old I was and that i had to wait outside in my car I told the girl infront I came in Uber and she said you have to understand we are packed you have to wait outside and I told her are all the people inside being seen because it's not fair to kick out a person and let others stay specially when you don't have a car to wait in I have to wait outside in the heat and in this Houston weather is hot read more

I was referred to this clinic by family members, I was skeptical at first because there's always a lot of cars. We all know a lot of cars mean long wait times! I was COMPLETELY wrong, I was amazed in how QUICKLY they in took me. I was out in 30minutes and without being rushed by the doctor, he was able to answer all my questions and was very attentive and nice. The plus side is they have a pharmacy next door and they're able to fill your prescription ASAP! I will continue to go here! Everyone was so nice and professional read more

My brother goes to the location on Telephone Rd. He needed two prescriptions refilled. I called that location twice, once on Thursday and again on Monday. They acted as if they were going to help but wouldn't. In fact Arlene from that location (Telephone Rd) was extremely rude and disrespectful. I decided to call the location on Long Point, Fanny answered the phone and as soon as I told her what I needed she scheduled a call with my brother within the next 10 minutes. My brother's prescription was immediately sent to the pharmacy. Thank you Fanny for your great customer service. I wished all employees especially the ones from the Telephone location were trained that well. read more

was referred here because a friend of mine told me they have good doctors. Been in the doc room for almost 30 min now. Not including the hr and 15 min wait in the waiting area. I think they forgot about me... I had to get ahold of someone myself and she was kind enough to check me out. Was in and out on a Thursday at noon, total time maybe an hour. Clean, open waiting room and friendly service. There was no wait, I checked in and left my insurance card at the front desk and was immediately called in for vitals. The nurse asked tons of questions, directed me to a room, and then I was seen by a doctor within 5 mins. I didn't catch the Dr's name, she was a sweet older lady and was quick but thorough. She wrote me a prescription and directed me to check out. I loved that the process was so quick, at other walk-in clinics in the area you'd spend a few hours in a cramped waiting room before seeing a doctor. read more
