However, that was not my experience on April 16, 2026. The first half of my visit went smoothly. My cleaning and X-rays were completed in a timely manner, but I was told at the beginning of my appointment--and again after my cleaning--that the dentist would be available in 10-15 minutes. Despite this, I waited approximately 30 minutes after my cleaning was complete. During that time, I observed the dentist see a patient who had arrived after me before attending to my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, and by 3:30 PM I had completed everything except the dental exam. By 4:00 PM, after continued delays and no clear update, I chose to leave. I understand that delays can happen, but being told multiple times to expect a short wait, only for it to extend significantly--and to see another patient taken ahead of me--was frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I do not plan to return as a patient.

A big thing for me is that I have never had an issue of being charged incorrectly on my insurance. Plenty of times there seems to be a problem with insurance and what is covered but they get it right at Audubon. I do appreciate that they go over what is covered and it provides me with edification of what I have as being covered. They also do not try to upsell you on unnecessary procedures because it is "recommended". Overall, it is a good place if you are just looking for cleaning and the routine twice a year exam. I cannot speak about anything like tooth removal or any other dental procedures. Actually, I am glad that I do not have experience avoiding getting in those situations.

Sadly, my experience has gone downhill so badly that I can no longer stay quiet. I have been in pain since July. After an extraction and multiple return visits, Audubon kept doing x-rays, finding nothing, and billing me--while I continued to report pain. It took months before I was finally sent to a specialist, who instantly found the problem: a cracked tooth. Something Audubon's dentists should have caught much earlier. Things got worse when my dentist was on vacation. I was in severe pain, and I was told another dentist in the office would help. Instead, that dentist refused to treat me and told the office manager to just schedule me with my regular dentist--two weeks later! Imagine being told to "just wait" when you can't eat on either side of your mouth and have already been suffering for months. Thankfully, I found another dentist on my own. They saw me the very next day, diagnosed the problem correctly, and scheduled me for treatment this week. That's how dental care is supposed to work. To be fair, the office manager Julie was kind and tried to help, but she had no support from the dentists. The failure is with the dentists and with Audubon's system of care. Bottom line: I can no longer trust this practice. The negligence, lack of compassion, and repeated dismissal of my pain is unacceptable. If you value timely and competent care, look elsewhere. I recommend this office to all my friends and family! I'm going to be sad when I move again and have to find a new dentist, but honestly I'd travel back up here for their service. I lived in Clinton when I first became a patient and then moved to Virginia in 2020 and still travel to have them check my teeth. Later this year I'm moving to North Carolina and I'm seriously tempted to still travel back up here to stay a patient with them.

When asked was the doctor going to address the "most important" part of my visit, I was told she no longer had time and for me to come back. It was rude, unprofessional, disheartening and unnecessary. Needless to say I WILL never give Dr. Patel my business. 8 wouldn't send NO ONE to her. I've meet Nino, Jasmine, and Lisa, they work for the Dentist and are super kind, professional and I really enjoy conversating with them. You seldom go into a business where everyone is on the same accord; no attitudes, very attentive and kind and do not hesitate to answer any questions. If they are unable to answer your question, they would talk to the Dentist, Dr. Williams to find an answer immediately. There's a high level of comfort there knowing that you will be taken care of. During my visits, I was constantly asked about my well-being to make sure that I was comfortable. Dr. Williams is also extremely kind and has great "bedside manners". She focuses on her patients which means that her patients can trust her. I believe this is an asset because that level of comfort makes me more likely to follow any recommended treatment plan. The staff here are very detailed when explaining your procedure and while working on you, they continue to detail what the next step is so that you don't have to worry what they are about to do. They listen intently, are very empathetic and very observant. I also found that contacting them is very easy because if they are unable to answer at the moment there's an automated text that you receive and can respond to, and they will contact you very quickly. (I'm not quite sure whether this is after they have your number on file, though). I give this business a 5 STAR review. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Having disclosed my medical history, it increasingly became obvious that he was providing a substand level of care even though my physican indicated my condtion did not warrant any special considerations. My physician even provided lab reports to support his recommendation. Dr. Greenstein once suggested it would not be cost effective to do a bridge bridge work based on his perception of my life expenctancy. As if he were concened about the cost to me. For cleaning, x-rays, and exams, this guy can pull it off adequately. If you have anything thing beyond the basics, well, good luck.

After ONLY THE CLEANING. They tried to bully me into getting a bite wing x-ray. I haven't gotten one in over 5 years because I have very pronounced Torus mandibularis under my tongue. The first women said that the orbital x-ray was not working. And said she would numb my Torus mandibularis. I said no because I would be in pain and scratched gum for days afterward. We can do it another day. Then she said she would get the doctor. The doctor said the same thing but would put gauze in my mouth to help with scratching. I said NO again Then she brings in the Office Manager they told me I should have the Torus mandibularis removed and would refer me to an oral surgeon. And I looked at her like was/is stupid. FUNNY I thought my mom died 4 years ago and I am 65 years old. When I said No AGAIN, then she told me that I would never be seen in Clinton Dental again if I did not do the bitewing x-ray. The lie about the dentist would lose her license if I did not take the x-ray. That was the most ridicules thing. Internet look up, they have done that there for YEARS, and I know how to ask another dentist. It took everything in me to just say okay and walk out. I can't wait to call delta Dental and to post this right under my last referral on Next door. Please prepare my file with my last orbital x-ray and send me a message so that I can pick it up. Doctors do not have to perform a bitewing X-ray over an orbital test during a teeth cleaning; the choice depends on the patient's specific dental NEEDS. Like I said your office manager LIED.

Also, I wasn't satisfied with the fittings because they were cutting into my gums. Before ensuring that they properly fit, each time he would tell me to "give it a week" and come back... however I didn't realize that each time you return, it's considered a realignment or readjusting appointment. After a few of these appointments, the patient is responsible for the cost of the visit. I ended up not having to pay for these appointments, but it wouldn't have been fair to me if I had done so. After all, if I'm here for realignment or adjustment, just fix it the 1st time. I didn't like my temps and was assured that the permanents wouldn't look like the temps, but they did. The permanents fit and looked worse than the temps. The permanents looked nothing like we had discussed previously. I noticed over time how rushed, rude and impatient with me that Dr. Nuri had become. Finally he asked me did I want him to give me a refund because I said that my permanents didn't feel like the permanents that I had come to the appointment with. The permanents that were returned to me after realignment due to the cutting into my gums, they were hard in my mouth and had no suction. They were like my temps so I said "ok", but he changed his mind and asked me to try the realigned ones for a week. I did so... but when I returned and said that I was still unhappy because of the digging into my gums and because the appearance wasn't what I asked for. At that point, he said "well I'm just going to give you a refund" and walked out of the treatment room. He instructed the assistant, i believe her name is Shonte', he instructed her to refund my money. Once she began to work on it, due to my insurance, I was asked to wait until Monday and contact the office to speak to the Office Mgr. Which I did. The Office Manager quickly reached out to me the following week stating that the refund had been returned to the insurance company. I have been so depressed because I have gone 2 months without teeth. Previously, Dr. Nuri also stated that I had signed the papers, as if to say "I have your signature now so whatever". Problem is... I read EVERYTHING and suggest that other patients do the same and NEVER sign until you have both received the permanents and are satisfied with the way those permanents fit. I will NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone. I despise how Dr. Nuri treated me, and I did not like how he rushed EVERY appointment that I had. He would also walk out of the treatment rooms without saying that the appointment was over, thereby not thanking me nor did saying goodbye. I never knew when the appointment was over until he left out and didn't return but one of the assistants would appear and then I knew that the appointment was over. I gave this establishment a two only because I felt like my concerns were addressed in the beginning of treatments and because other Staff who worked at the front desk during my treatment period beginning January 2024, were friendly, compassionate and professional. I would give this office zero stars if that were an option…read more I have been going through this process since April, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. The dentist extracted 13 teeth and failed to prescribe appropriate pain medication afterward. I left the office bleeding heavily and went directly to the pharmacy, assuming a prescription had been called in. Instead, I learned that only extra-strength Tylenol had been prescribed. Even the pharmacist expressed concern about my condition given the extent of the extractions and the amount of bleeding. That weekend, the pain became so severe that I had to go to the emergency room. I was in tremendous pain and unable to function normally. When I called the office on Monday, I was eventually prescribed Tylenol with codeine, despite my allergy to codeine. Unfortunately, I missed a couple of appointments after my mother passed away. Once I was able to reschedule, I arrived for my appointment at 11:18 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. appointment due to heavy rain and significant traffic delays. Despite the circumstances, I was told that I would not be seen. It has now been three months without teeth because the impressions for my dentures were done incorrectly and have had to be redone. This entire process has been stressful, frustrating, and unacceptable. I have endured pain, delays, multiple appointments, and a complete lack of compassion and customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. Patients deserve competent care, proper follow-up, and respect for their time and circumstances. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those things here.
